Very good place to stay ! The resort is HUGE but you never feel in an overcrowded environment. The rooms are huge also, lots of space, basic furnitures but ok. Was very clean when when we arrived, but the (almost) daily cleaning during our stay was limited, so don't bring too much sand in your room... Very nice beach with lots of sun beds and umbrellas, big pools here and there in the resort (could not try them all!) also with sun beds and umbrellas, and pool bars, and if not enough, a water park with a lazy river, 5-6 fun slides (from the one where you have to push with your hands to go down, to the one that will give you a heart attack) and guess what ? Another big pool (and its pool bar). Good food in the many restaurants, lot of choices in the buffets but mostly the same things every day. The main restaurant gets a bit crowded on breakfast and dinner, with 15-20 minutes of queue at peak times, and the overall organisation could certainly be improved, but the staff is nice and we're on holidays, so that's fine !

Although we could not stay there as they were close for this season. They re-booked us into another very lovely hotel and kept us informed through out! That was a very high quality service for us and thank you so much

Gelina is a huge complex housing over 1200 people, as such the pool area and beach area are crowded and very noisy, There is only one restaurant for all these people so it is hectic and over crowded all the time, The biggest problem with this hotel is that every evening the hotel is plagued with biting mosquitoes, It was impossible to eat outside without getting bitten alive and inside was just as bad as no where was air conditioned so all the doors and windows were wide open. The only way you could eat was to take all your food to your room which was very disappointing and annoying, whilst all the staff were sympathetic and apologetic the hotel did nothing to improve the situation. This is certainly not a 5* hotel as advertised at best a 2-3* summing up Very disappointing.

This hotel treats their guests exceptionally. We arrived late but were checked in efficiently and the hotel prepared 4 meals consisting of salad, goats cheese and meat etc with bread. Drinks were readily available. After eating this our cases were loaded into the minibus and we were taken to our spacious ground floor room (2 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms) and a lovely view of the mountains. We had a slight problem activating the air conditioning so I rang reception within 10 mins of arriving and a member of maintenance came straight back (it was just because the window was open that's all) but he came straight back out immediately to rectify this for us.Breakfast is 7.30 until 10am and then continental continues from 10am until 11am so there is plenty of choice for everyone from fresh fruit, cereals, croissants to cooked breakfasts.Lunch is 12.30 until approximately 2.30pm but even after this food was still available and drinks were always available. Not much queuing either to say it was August. The evening meal had plenty of choice, was hot and of good quality.The reception staff were helpful. There were 4 pools including the waterpark and no queues for the slides which my children and I really enjoyed. There is also a lazy river which husband enjoyed! The cleaners came every day but Sunday and were helpful and friendly folding our pyjamas and bringing free water. Also a free 15min massage is provided and the staff in the spa are lovely.
