Place was OK. Make sure you read the check in instructions very carefully- this ain’t a hotel, there is no concierge. It’s very difficult to find as has no markings outside.
Also on arrival check the boiler is switched on as ours wasn’t and as a result we had no hot water for a shower until we realised.
Place is a little run down and needs some attention.
Great location though!

Really nice area anf the room was very good , the entrance can be deceiving as it shares commom arrea with coffee shop and storage area but once you get up the stairs its very good clean and conveniently located rooms. We had a littke hiccup with check in we couldn't get a hold of anybody to get us the keys but once sorted the rest was smooth sailig

Amazing bargain for the price. Be sure to read the special check in instructions as there is no one on site to check you in.

I liked that the place was conveniently located in the old part of Zadar. It was easy to walk to the Sea Organ and to the pier from this place. The place itself looked like it belonged in Zadar with its antique decor. Unfortunately there was an issue with AC which the host tried very hard to fix and was very apologetic when it didn't work. I would recommend this place to others especially if AC is working as its location cannot be better, walkable distance to many attractions. There is no assigned parking so if coming by car you will need to find a place to park. Overall good stay.

Good sized room, recently updated bathroom.
Perfect location to discover the old town, 10 minutes stroll to Sea Organ, 5 minutes to one of the best sunsets the world offers.

Scam! After messing around searching for correct location and calling and texting host with no answer, finaly found "luxury room" location by looking on maps. No signage. Bottom level of buildind bare concrete. Paint supplies. Dirty. 2nd floor. Shoes in front of a door in disarray. Booked a beautiful apartment close by.

Spacious apartment on 1st floor in the very center of Zadar (Sveti Stosije sqare). You can see the cathedral from your windows and hear all the tourists on the square.
Check-in was a bit sluggish; I got the code of the keybox only after having asked twice. Would be smoother to get the instructions in advance.
The air-con has broken in the middle of my stay and it was obviously not possible to get it fixed short-term.
Overall recommended if you are prepared to make small compromises.

Beautiful suite in an old building across from the cathedral. Antique furnishings and canopy bed made for a unique experience. Checkin was not easy as you need to contact 24hours in advance and they do not have a front desk. The entrance is a small unmarked door that was difficult to find without assistance. If you need parking you can use the public lot on the other side of the cathedral. Out in enough money so that the expiry time extends until the next morning. The location is fantastic as you are right in the heart of old town Zadar and have access to all the sites and great restaurants!

Directions for check-in were not emailed until 10 minutes before the scheduled time, and it was difficult to get in touch with the host. Additionally, there was a beer bottle left in the room and an ant on our bed.
However, the room itself was gorgeous, the best part of all was the location, and overall it was a great stay despite the challenging check-in process!

As per reservation,
checkout was scheduled for 11am. At 10am, when we went out to buy breakfast, two cleaning ladies were on the stairs. We told them we would be back soon. We returned 10 minutes later and they had invaded the room, on orders from the owner (Teresa). We took photos to prove it. The apartment is well located, but noisy and the bathroom has an unbearable smell of sewage, which spreads throughout the room. I do not recommend!!

The host sent an email with excellent instrustructions on how to find the apartment and open the key box. The room and bed were very comfortable. We read a negative review about the shower, but we had a nice hot shower. The location is close to where the ferry from Pula arrives and the major attractions. While the bus station is walkable, it is not very convenient to the apartment. We had a wonderful stay in Zadar. It’s a lovely town to spend a few days in. The beaches are walking distance, too!

While the place itself is lovely, the hot water tank was broken and they had random construction workers walk through our room without knocking unexpectedly. If they had actually fixed the hot water tank that would have been fine but they did not even attempt to. There was little or no real communication from the host. An apology or even the slightest effort to accommodate or communicate would have gone a long way. Would happily reccomend to anyone I don’t like.

Extremely comfortable apartment and bed in the perfect area; great soundproof windows but unfortunately very loud creaky ceiling. Fantastic spot but would be even better without upstairs neighbors!

Central and convenient location to Zadar old town.

There is no sign or any way of knowing where the property is, and, it feels like you are going thru a back of house service garage to enter the building. Lights didn’t work in the entry area once you have gone thru some strange doors off the street which felt dangerous. We basically had to walk thru darkness until you find stairs. Checkout said 11:00 on Travelocity site, but cleaners were there at 10:00 and berated us for not being out by 10:00. This was not a good experience.
Also room smelled of mold. Rooms were generously large and interesting as one positive.

The apartment location is perfect, in front of the church, at the main street. The apartment is very comfortable, the only thing that I didn't like it was the shower.

We booked and paid the Luxury Rooms Contessa Vitali (***, 35 m2, city view) in TGR SV. STOSIJE 4, Zadar, for two nights at the end of August 2021.
Upon our arrival, Mr. Dali brought us to an apartment in Ul. Hrvoja Vukčića Hrvatinića 8, Zadar, which is about 350 meters away from our originally booking.
We were really shocked as we entered the apartment. The apartment was obviously not what we have booked, neither the location nor the furnishing. The furnitures are not only old fashioned, they also smelled old. Not even my grandma will like it. And it only has a view to a dark backyard.
We asked for our room and showed him the pics from the Hotels.com. Mr. Dali keep saying that this would be the room that we booked and this was the only free apartment they had.
We were so tired to argue with him and we told him that we will clarify this right now with Hotels.com. Then he suddenly mentioned that there’s a water piping problem in our originally booked room.
The person, whom Hotels.com talked with, told Hotels.com that we have an offer for upgrading to a ****-apartment, which is new renovated, and we did reject it. WHAT??
Thanks Hotels.com for canceling our booking. We were able to book another hotel on the spot. This hotel was so helpful to check us in even after the regular check in time. It’s already 22:30, we were so exhausted after these 4 hours drama.
PS: The Luxury Rooms Contessa Vitali (***, 35 m2, city view) was still available in Hotels.com on the

The room was good, in a lovely location. The bathroom was clean and good. Τhe mattress was clogged on one side. There was a stain on the curtain of the bed. The window covers did not work. There was noise at night, as expected, but it stopped at 12 o'clock.

Fabulous room - the view was really cool and I loved having a French balcony (reason why I chose this place). There were all the necessary essentials including a kettle, mini fridge, even hair conditioner (trust me, it’s rare to find in Europe even in hotels). I don’t want to complain but there were a couple maintenance issues that should be addressed such as the switch from the handheld shower and the rainfall shower, as well as the table side lamp (the switch didn’t work). But wasn’t much of an inconvenience compared to the bigger picture. Location was amazing. Also, being out of season, there weren’t too many real breakfast options (talking things like eggs etc) in the city but I found that a place called Coffee & Cake had a rather satisfying menu. And anyone who needs a laundry will find a self-service place just half a block away to the north. Highly recommend this place and would stay again for sure!

Beautiful antique room with view over the Old Town square. Hard to find - it is not well indicated, even in the stair cage. In fact you have to go up the stairs to the first floor to get there. The entrance to the building is near a coffee shop.More hangers for towels and clothes would be an improvement. But in general - its a gem!

I loved my six night stay here. It's not a standard hotel with a front desk or housekeeping, but I didn't expect them. This is a rennovated room in a medieval building, with a comfortable bed, lots of closet space, a nice bathroom with a great shower, a huge window with a breathtaking view, and unbeatable location for bus, taxi, private shuttle, or rental car parking, walking access to Zadar's Old Town, and the cruise ship dock.
Tereza was always very friendly and helpful when I needed something, or if we just ran into each other. The room was beautiful and clean, the air conditioner has a white noise feature that sounds like the ocean, and with the window closed, the sounds from outside didn't bother me, even all day church bells on Sunday.
I felt very safe and relaxed during my stay, and I loved the convenience of a short walk back to my room from my Old Town sightseeing, especially if I needed a nap or just to drop off things I'd bought.
I will happily stay here again in the future!

The place is located right downtown in the old town - very central.
We had a little trouble reaching the owner and had to wait to get to the room. Which probably was the biggest minus.
Other than that, our stay was great!
I would recommend to change the pillows - too bulky.
Need to have a phone to contact the owner, probably the only con.

The room needed an upgrade. Both chairs need reupholstering. Bathroom needed a bit of attention also.
