Stayed in the Luxury Loft - very nice. No greeting from the owners who were on site but that is okay as we did not need assistance in checking in. All info provided by email to access the property and room. All amenities were very good in the room. We did not eat breakfast there but that was our choice. Would stay here again.

The accommodation were great and we enjoyed our stay, however were disappointed with the attitude of the staff at breakfast. When we came drown for breakfast we were not greeted and told what was available for breakfast. When the coffee ran out more wasn’t made and guests arriving at 8:50 were told breakfast was over at 9 am! As Newfoundlanders disappointed with the lack of hospitality.

Good place to stay. Feel welcomed by the hosts. Enjoy breakfast with fresh homemade different types of jams.

The location was great and there was a nice ocean view from the balcony. The room was comfortable. The staff however were not very welcoming and the breakfast was just a relatively unhealthy pancake and sausage. It would have been great to have had at least boiled eggs and some cheese The Coffee was very weak

Beautiful, wide staircase that made carrying luggage upstairs easy. Very nice decor gave the B and B a homey feeling. Breakfast was a little underwhelming. Having a loaf of gluten free bread in the freezer would have allowed a piece of gluten free toast to go with my scrabbled egg and piece of bacon

We recently had a chance to stay at the Admirals bed and breakfast. As most experienced travelers will do, I checked the rating and the reviews and for the most part it was pretty favorable. Unfortunately, I missed this one critical review on a room called the Beluga. Speaking to some of the locals this room was never designed for guests but only for a property manager or live in host. This room is so small either you are in there or your luggage but not at the same time. As it is was so close to the main entrance it does not have a regular swinging door only a pocket door with full visibility through the two-inch crack for all guests to see into the room. The kitchen was behind our headboard so noise was incrdible. We did notify the property host that we would not be completing our pre paid stay. At which time they told us we could switch rooms but the day before I was told they were sold out and everything was booked. I unfortunately forfeited one day as wecouldn't stay a single minute longer in that shoe box of a room. I understand in seasonal tourism revenue is key but renting out this room is not doing this property any favors as it continues to get horrible reviews. I do not discourage you from staying at this properly certainly do not rent that room thet room at any price.

Location was excellent. Folks serving breakfast very nice. We stayed there for two nights. The double bedroom unit was small for a couple.

We rented the fin whale room. The room was very clean but also very small - there was no room to put cosmetics and the bed side table was only on one side of the bed. The room had AC but the window didn’t open. For breakfast all guests were served two pancakes with two sausages. Overall our stay was okay.

The room was good. It was noisy at times when heat pump from another room came on. Overall, it was fine

Great location. Good breakfast and enjoyed experience of chatting with other guests over breakfast. Clean and quiet.

The room was small but adequate. Breakfast was great. The thing I didn't like was our method of entering. The cell service was iffy and we were sent a code that enabled us to get into the residence. Unfortunately we never got this message. Our host did send us another message after reaching out to them which we did receive.

We were in the Fin Whale room....too hot! Tried the air conditioner and it was too loud to sleep with it on. Breakfast was okay to good.

This place is great! I would absolutely stay here again. The rooms were lovely and our hosts were amazing! The breakfast was excellent and we had other friendly travellers to chat to during meals.

Very nice accommodations, in a very nice town with good food, a scenic setting, and wonderful coastal trails. We will definitely stay here again!

The room was spacious and clean. Guests should be aware that main floor rooms can hear walking above as well as activity in the common area. The breakfast area cannot accommodate all guests at the same time. The owner, while not on site, was very responsive.

The B & B was well kept and clean. Although there was no one to greet us, the email we received was quite clear on how to access the property and our room. We were provided with phone numbers to contact the owners if necessary, which was nice to have on hand. We felt the breakfast provided was quite good…a hot cooked breakfast as well as a selection of yogurt, cold cereals, oatmeal and fresh fruit salad. The one drawback to our stay was that our room was quite small and the only window was the one in our washroom. It was also noisy there in the morning because our room, The Beluga Room, was right off the dining room and we could hear the food being prepared and other guests talking quite clearly in our room. Overall, however, it was quite nice.

Rooms were clean and modern. Common area was tidy with comfortable furnishings. Breakfast offering was delicious

Great stay at this B&B. Nice room, very nice breakfast and the highlight was that is was served “family style” around a big dining table with four other couples. Great conversations with plenty of travel hints for Twillingate and elsewhere. The Twillingate area is spectacularly beautiful, but the Inn is not in an especially scenic part of the islands. Not a big deal at all - short drives to lots of scenic trailheads, etc. Would recommend a stop here for anyone exploring Newfoundland.
