Great staff and comfy room

Quiet And clean

stay was very good happy with the room as it met my expectations. Two small negatives. It would have been better to be able to close the window, so as to reduce outside noise. No big fix. Also the coffee cups didn't sit in the sauces, hence hard to handle. That said l was happy overall.

Mezzanine spa chalet was amazing, staff were so bright and bubbly ,so helpful, food in restaurant was amazing

This accommodation options is a number of compromises. We stayed in an upstairs room that was great value for money but had a few downsides. The room could do with a repaint, some new mirrors as they are stained and a HDTV as you can't watch all channels (and the universal remote doesn't work properly). The room was clean and had nice outlook over the main street although that brings with it a few noise issues but not too bad. If you have mobility issues avoid the upstairs rooms as they take a bit of getting to. Balancing this is the other facilities at the property. They have a log fire downstairs in a modern bar area with friendly staff and a good selection of drinks. The Steakhouse has a wide range of great food The venue is located within walking distance of an array of other restaurants, pubs and shops and a short drive to places like Beerenberg Farm Shop, Udder Delights cheeses or the Farm Barn for little ones. Overall we would use the venue again.

Accommodation close to multitude of facilities at the Inn complex. Creek crossing to some rooms needs road materials infill.

The accommodation is older but very warm & comfortable… so handy having dining options downstairs & wandering distance to many many other restaurants or cafes.

We always enjoy staying at the old mill

The mattress was extremely hard and very uncomfortable. I was unable to sleep and now experiencing moderate pain.

We loved the room...huge spa and warm and comfy beds and pillows. Great restaurant.! Food and wines.. We did dinner and a show and stayed overnight all were excellent! Loved the town heaps to do and see...

Staff were amazing

The property was really quaint and unique but the floors (carpet and tiles) were in need of a good steam clean. Way overdue.

A nice place to stay in Hahndorf. We stayed in a cabin at the back of the property. It was spacious & as long as the heater was blasting, it was nice & warm. We could walk everywhere & we really enjoyed our stay.

Very Clean, comfortable but didn't have electric blankets, it was the coldest night since 1908.!!

Heritage hotel..amazing staff and excellent service Heritage meaning not new but clean and comfy.

Only booked here as the upstairs rooms were cheaper. So much lost opportunity to renovate these rooms and make them amazing with their traditional character. Amazing service by staff after our heater wasnt working. There was no hesitation in upgrading us to a chalet out the back. Only downside was the noise from other guests at all hours of the morning coming back from the live band inside the hotel. Appreciate the effort to make us comfortable though.

I'd call it old style country hospitality - our room in the main building wasn't overly spacious but it was comfortable; the bathroom wasn't especially modern but it was clean and functional; the meal in the restaurant wasn't spectacular but it was tasty and good value; the service was very friendly and welcoming and the cost was very reasonable - I'd go again.

This motel was in a quiet location. Facilities were basic. It was winter and the only heating was in the kitchen/sitting area.

2 foot thick walls with tiny windows as they were when the Old Mill was built. Blinds were broken. Spa too deep to get in . But handy for exploring the area.
