Hard to check in. Nobody was at the desk. Had to call and call.

Convenient and economical for this town. The room was clean and comfortable for our visit to relatives

Bay Port Lodging is centrally located along M22 and all the trails I love to hike. The room was clean, warm, and very comfortable. Staff was helpful and friendly. This is my second time staying here and I recommend it to others.

The property was very clean. Nicer towels and hotter water would be a great improvement but overall a nice place to stay.

Perfectly situated near beach, shops, and dining. Staff was wonderful and accommodating. Beds were comfortable and you have ac available to adjust temperature. Appreciate having a fridge and microwave for use.

Clean and comfortable. Room was small, but not surprising for an older property; however, the proximity to dining, shops, and the beach more than makes up for it. It was perfect for our stay.

The bed was sagging when I got in. The drains drained poorly so I was standing in water and had to rinse my feet after getting out of the shower. Had crickets in my room, the first night I killed one and the second night I had one climb on my head and swatted it on the floor and killed it but there was another one in the room which chirped all night so between the bed and the cricket I didn't get much sleep. The pictures in the ad made the property look much better than it was in person.

Nice stay, not to far from the beach on Lake Michigan. Nice place to stop while exploring Lake Michigan and its amazing beaches.

The Bay Port Lodging motel was clean, quiet and conveniently located to the town of Frankfort as well as the beach. We were able to walk everywhere, including a nearby grocery store. Highly recommend for your stay in Frankfort, MI. Staff was friendly and helpful.

This place is lovely. Like most Michigan motels, you may find yourself in a small bathroom situation. My only suggestion is if there are issues with hotels.com or Expedia, the owners of the hotel should deal with payment problems. Also, plant flowers in the windows! There used to be more color and flora.

Close to downtown, harbor and bike trail. Short walk to beach and lighthouse. Comfortable and clean rooms. Would stay here again as location excellent, cost reasonable.

The motel was in the middle of a huge road construction project. The yard was unmowed and we had to to drive around for 20 minutes trying to find a way to get to the motel. Most of the roads surrounding are closed.

We enjoyed being right downtown so we could walk everywhere. There was road work going on so getting in and out of the property was a bit difficult but that was not the fault of the owners.

OK but just OK. Bed seemed undersized.

On a road...not on the water or in the woods but was perfect for us since we were either walking to store or town or driving to dunes or crystal lake or lske michigan.
