The Far West Motel is a quaint property with clean rooms. It's nothing fancy, but the key is its clean and well maintained. Hotel check-in staff is available after 2:00 and they were extremely friendly and helpful. The town has limited dining options. We ate at Sully's Burger's across the street for lunch which was good. There is a drive-up coffee place directly across the street and a grocery store at the end of town. We ate Mexican food at a very little place called Taqueria San Juditas and the food was ok with good service. Overall, for a quick overnight stay this place works well.

This property was shown on Expedia in a way that did not show the true visual of the place, neither the room nor the property immediately surrounding. It was, at BEST a one star motel, but because it is one of so few in this area,, they could and did charge an absolutely not worth it price of 250.00 a night! we had already advance booked and there was no place else. Felt exploited.

In our week long trip to the national parks outside of Seattle, this motel was by far the most expensive, yet the least accommodating. The room was extremely tiny, which wasn't a big problem overall. It appeared fairly clean. I appreciated the stand up fan that was left for our use. But, there was no hair dryer for me to use, and it was the first motel I'd encountered on my three week journey that didn't supply a hair dryer. I never saw an ice machine, and the front office kept very limited hours, so I was unable to actually speak to a person to inquire about a hair dryer or ice. Maybe it was there and I missed it. Needless to say, it have been explained on a informational paper that could have been left in the room. Rooms seems limited in the Forks, WA, so the people who own this place know they can pretty much get what they want, despite the face that no in their right mind would pay that much in a non-touristy area. It is what it is, but I probably wouldn't stay there again.

It has everything you need. Clean, safe, easy parking. If you're looking for frills, Forks is not the town.

No offense Forks, but we did view everything about our stay in Forks through the lens of "Well, it's Forks." The room was clean...enough. There was a fridge and a microwave and a coffee maker. There was a TV but we couldn't use it because the remote was missing and there were no buttons. The office is only open from 2 PM to 9 PM so there's nobody to report issues to, not that I think there was much to be done about it in any case. It didn't put much of a damper on our stay though. The motel did provide a list of restaurants in the area with their hours and general food type and whether there was outdoor seating. It was helpful. I would love to visit the area again, but honestly I would not stay in Forks if I do. Port Angeles is just a little larger and nicer.

The wifi barely works and they have parental locks on their internet! Also, the place is way too expensive for what you get. I'd request a partial refund if possible due to misleading advertising.

On arrival, staff were pleasant, but room was not ready. Rooms are very clean and bed was quite comfortable. Wi-fi is spotty. Kept losing connection. Shower is the worst. Water barely tricked from the shower head and never reached a temperature above luke warm. This shower is a terrible start to the day.
