The location is very convenient for a stay near Ginza. There is a taxi stand right outside, which was extremely convenient for an ad hoc pickup. The subway is also convenient, with access to three different lines.
The room was smaller than expected, though views were fantastic. Only other issue with the room is that it lacks a full length mirror; the closest is in the closet door but even this is maybe 3 feet and is difficult to use because of how narrow it is and how the closet opens.
The staff were not rude, but they were the least friendly we had encountered so far in Japan.

The location is unbeatable as the subway is just beneath the hotel, you don't need to walk out to get on the subway. It is in the cnetral location in Ginza. The hotel is well maintained. The breakfast is also fantastic!!

This hotel is in a great location in Ginza. The shopping is all around the hotel and the entrance to the subway right outside the front entrance. The hotel is very nice, the rooms are spacious and modern. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We will definitely stay at this hotel again when visiting Tokyo.

Staff was very helpful and accommodating during my stay. The area is super convenient for first timers visiting Japan as it is very centralized in Ginza, and there is a metro station right outside of the hotel. The area is clean and very safe, and I would recommend this place for anyone who wishes to stay in Ginza.

We absolutely loved our stay at The Gate Tokyo. The lobby is stunning, the room was very comfortable and we all enjoyed the delicious breakfast. Our only slight issue was that the pillows were very hard for some of our family— but that is a super minor concern in an otherwise wonderful stay.

Excellent hotel, right next to Ginza within walking distance. There is a taxi stand and subway right outside the hotel. JR station is also 5 mins walking distance. Imperial palace and garden are two blocks away. The hotel is quiet and clean. The breakfast is western style with a great selection of fruit, salad and pastries. The hotel staff is very friendly. Will definitely stay again if visiting Tokyo.

Easy to get to. Particularly good location for shopping at department stores and brand stores. The nearby izakayas were a nice surprise which serve traditional Japanese food and beer (if you don’t mind eating alongside sometimes boisterous salarymen). The hotel is nice, rooms are clean with good amenities. The higher floors provide a great view of the area.

I just wished the bar hours were longer because we did like the settings in the terrace (the other bars in the city, around this hotel, seems to be exclusive to smokers, since they can’t smoke on the streets).

We had an excellent three-night stay pre-cruise. It’s a beautiful property and our corner room was outstanding. Very spacious, comfortable, and silent with an enormous double-sink bath, separate tub and shower, and a window. Hotel is surrounded by restaurants and shopping with metro station access right outside the hotel entrance.
