great location and close to transport and the beach

Roomy apartment with fully stocked kitchen. Location couldn't be better - so close to the beach and warf and bus stops.

The property had a nice beachside atmosphere and nice outlook from the balcony.

We had a really mixed stay at Waves. Our first room (#14, Family Apartment with Courtyard) was really dirty, dark, lacked facilities. There was a lady loitering in the back (public) courtyard and I realised she was homeless so offered her dinner. The problem was the noise at night, it didn’t feel safe and my kids were frightened. No tissues, old broken iron, missing shelf from the fridge. We really appreciated the change for the second night, otherwise I’d have left for elsewhere. We moved to a much nicer apartment down the street at Lotus. It was much better. They didn’t mention the building works upstairs though. This was at a Waves apartment- we saw the reception guy there. So it was extremely noisy from 7-7. I wouldn’t really recommend, unfortunately.

Apartment was great, spotlessly clean everything we needed was there. Staff were perfect .Would definitely stay here again .5 stars

The place was really dirty : hair and stains on the bed sheets, lot of sand on the couch, floor was full of dirt, the toilet fan sounded like there was a mouse trapped in it. Its dissapointing to pay that much and have something dirty. The location is great though.

Upgrade to 2 bed apartment. Comfortable. A little dated and small maintenance required but overall pretty good.

This is good for a short stay such as after a night out because you won't want to stay much longer than a few hours. The staff are friendly but it was a little strange having the housekeeper come into our room after we'd checked in so she could look for something allegedly left behind from the previous guest; she didn't find the item. It's at least a short stroll to the beach and restaurants, so that was a bonus!

Good location. A little run down. Bizarrely sheets were wrong way on bed and so too short - had to remake. Key wasn't in lock-box on arrival as arranged so luckily had a mobile number to ring to organise a key at 11pm at night. Otherwise comfy enough.

Quirky property in great location with friendly staff. The property however is a little rundown and needs some maintenance .

Obtained key with room number from the late check in box. Unlocked room to find people asleep in my room. Then there was nobody on site and an ordeal to find an alternate room.

It was ok but doesn’t look like the photos

The room we were given was small, smelly, dirty and not as shown on Expedia. The toilet was stained, microwave rusty, looked dangerous. Paint peeling off in bathroom. tiny balcony. Dirty walls and floors. Discarded flannel behind TV, rubbish under bed. There wasn’t a courtyard as described was full of rubbish and boxes. The only redeeming feature of the property was the very pleasant and helpful young lady in reception. We also had a parking space at the property which we paid extra for which was a bonus.

What a lovely vacation apartment! Such a great atmosphere and so close to the beach, restaurants, and shops! Perfect little getaway!

We loved the location, distance to beach and dining options. We loved the balcony, good size bathroom and we could use a car space to get car off the 2P parking spaces. We thought the place could however use a freshen up and more attention to cleaning. The photos online are nothing like our room - which was a beige box. I get that maybe Manly Waves has different locations and rooms on the property- and potentially I paid for the type given but it felt this needs to be clearer so customers are not disappointed. The price good and location fabulous which made up for feeling like I arrived at a completely different accommodation that I was looking forward to.

Got upgraded to an apartment studio due to plumbing issues which was ok. However the first day i had no hot water in the shower

Staff were great and accommodated my late check in and check out. The bed was really comfy and I enjoyed hanging out on the balcony. Close to Ruby Lane for an amazing breakfast.

Designer Family Room had great heritage character and features. Good size room for a family and best shower pressure i have ever seen. For us the location was perfect. Pretty sure we will be back.

The rooms don’t match the pictures but they have quaint charm. It had all the basics for a weekend at the beach

Nice affordable apartment, 1 min walk to the beach and 10 min walk to centre of town. No complaints from us
