The staff were polite and friendly from the moment we arrived. The room was so light, spacious and clean, plenty of room for the 3 of us that stayed. Cooked or continental breakfast. Located just off the A27 was very easy to get to with plenty of parking on site. Would definitely stay here again and would recommend

Nice pub and hotel in a convenient location for getting around the area by car. We stayed over for Goodwood Festival so the price was a lot higher but still good value overall, and we got to the event in 20 minutes. Couple of minor issues, the room we stayed in was unbearably hot and no air con, and the breakfast was very good quality but the portions were small, only one bacon and sausage, more like a half English breakfast. The bar closes at 11 and the staff are keen to get you back to your room so they can close the pub, dont expect a late session. The pub is very nice and cosy and the room was spacious, the shower was also decent. Overall would recommend and would stay again.

It’s next to a dual carriageway and desperately needs secondary glazing. The cooked breakfast was a bit mean too.

After staying in back to back hotel chain hotels for nearly a week previously this was a really nice change. Chap who runs it very friendly and helpful, excelled on service. Nice local pub and nice food with separate sleeping accommodation which was new and clean. Very quiet, food good and area nice. Would stay again.

Stay a few times here. Always like it. Pubs interior a little tired but accommodation excellent.

Really nice room, had everything you wanted. Dinner and service great. Personally the only thing that let it down from a full 10/10 was the full English breakfast.

The staff were expertly professional with the correct balance of attentiveness. We were really made to feel welcome at all times going above and beyond their usual duties. Food was totally amazing, perfectly cooked what a fantastic chef. Certainly return again and highly recommend. Rooms were beautifully designed and comfortable.

Staff members and accommodation was just perfect for me and my mum. Parking was free and the food was great.

Spacious and comfortable room with a huge wet room ensuite. Plenty of pillows, in room refreshment and toiletries. Thank you for a lovely stay.

A very lovely place to stay with well presented rooms and modern decor, the staff were great and the food and drink within the pub was of high standard.

Nice purpose built building next to pub, room very hot, bed a little uncomfortable, double glazed windows would stop road noise. Would stay again.

Hotel was nice. Staff friendly and food at dinner was great. Full English breakfast was small, one sausage, one egg, one rasher bacon and beans with toast. Not what I’d normally expect from a hotel full English. But that’s the only thing I can comment about. Will happily book and stay again

It was very clean friendly and welcoming . We were on the ground floor with a window onto some wasteland at the back and it didn’t feel safe to leave the window open during the night. This meant it was very hot in our room.

Comfortable, secure and quiet despite being close to the main road

Can't fault this hotel at all! It's got the great balance of a traditional English pub, with the modern hotel facilities. The room was spacious, clean and full of natural daylight. The welcome from the staff was fantastic, and the breakfast was really tasty too. I will definitely return!

Property was very nice, the pub is 18th century and very cosy. The accommodation is in a separate building, (newly built or converted) and very nice. The breakfast was nice with vegetarian option. The staff were very friendly and helpful.

The rooms are nice and spacious and the furniture is high quality. As much heat as you want in the room, controlled via the radiator valve. Access to the hotel is not great as you have to turn in quite sharply on a national speed limit dual carriageway but not much can be done about that. Nothing else nearby to walk to really so you have to get in the car. Can only rejoin the carriageway westbound which is awkward if you really wanted to go east. There was some decor in the bathroom that was in need of some attention. Not really bad but I expected more from the listing.
