It was a decent place to stay for a night. Staff was very polite. I would have given it 3 stars if not for the delicious breakfast. What I did not like was that there was no way to cool down the room. It was only 75 degrees outside during the day and 50 degrees outside during the night. However, during the entire night it was 82 degrees in the room - and that was with the windows open. No air comes into the room even with window open. It was very uncomfortable.

Good position to walk, in about 10mins to the centre, 20mins to the castle. In a secondary road where tou can unload the car, their carpark has 2 places so at 1 block away you have a closed parking that costs 20€ per night. Double room is small and cozy, excellent place if you want to be close to the centre at a good price.

The room with 2 twin beds was designed for maximum use of space and was very comfortable in size. Breakfast was included in the reasonable price of the room and had many choices.

Fantastic location to explore the city. Near all transportation and places of interest. Great staff will look after you. Restaurant is popular. Elevator and decent breakfast.

Friendly staff. Well appointed rooms kept to a high standard of cleanliness. Plenty of choice of fresh food at breakfast.

The breakfast was fine. We received a discount for parking from the hotel which was nice. The desk clerk on mornings and daytime was friendly and helpful, however upon arriving in the late afternoon the desk clerk was anything but welcoming and friendly.

The staff were really helpful and breakfast was fine but the hotel and room were a bit dated. The shower wasn't too strong and it was quite warm when we visited but only had a fan in the room. The pillows (which repeated in other towns) were too soft and uncomfortable.
The hotel is really handy for the old town and museums. We walked to and from the train station. We also walked to the Nuremberg trials museum but the underground looks an easy alternative.

The decor in my room looked tired and out of date, but the room and bathroom were very clean, and everything worked as it should. The buffet breakfast was absolutely excellent, and all served in a nice, bright room.

Was welcoming and comfortable. Being an older property has charm that modern chain hotels can't match.

Clean, comfortable hotel in a good location. Helpful, friendly staff Excellent restaurant (I don't usually use hotel restaurants), really popular, so make sure you book for authentic food and atmosphere.

Very old type rooms and management. No any comfort. House keeping is not like three star hotel.

Pros: Breakfast was very good, and having the restaurant nearby was very convenient for when we were done sightseeing. Nice balcony, though the only view was into the breakfast patio (on the other hand, sleeping is usually the only thing I do while I am in the room). Good WiFi.
Cons: No AC, like pretty much all of Europe; had to open the windows to cool it off at night. Hallways smelled weird, though the room did not.

A characterful place which is ideally located in the old town with close links to all public transport. I stayed in the middle of a heatwave. No aircon yet I was fine sleeping with the window open. I would imagine the place is very cosy during winter. The staff were all very welcoming; friendly and helpful.

Due to a convention in Nurnberg, the hotel was overpriced, at 200 eur per night. The standard was really low. Tiny room, stuffed, with no ventilation at all.
Breakfast was very limited, and many of the dishes were empty.
In general, not recommended. A suitable price would have been 50 euro.

Lovely Franconian hotel - room was super comfortable, and the breakfast provided was very good. COVID protocols in place made my stay feel safe, but didn't feel overly intrusive. Great location too - perfect for exploring the old town, but also close to the station/transport hubs for further exploring. The only thing is that because it's an old building, the WIFI can be a little patchy.
