Not only was the hotel itself great, the staff were extremely helpful and supportive connecting us with the necessary English-speaking hospital services when our daughter had a medical issue during our stay. Excellent location for families wanting to explore Tokyo. Rooms are clean and spacious for Tokyo standards. There is a laundry on site which is so helpful. We were a family of 5 and fit great in the room with enough beds for all. Well connected to metro and stores nearby. Highly recommend this apart-hotel. Friendly and kind reception as well.

The Hotel was delightfully central with multiple cultural and modern attractions that never left you lacking entertainment .Meanwhile the staff were friendly and warm, the cleaners respectfully but diligently working and everything working as it should. the beds were comfortable the space used well and well fitting robes for free.however despite this it could have been improved by adding cold water instead of lukewarm.

Lovely hotel with friendly and helpful staff. We had booked a family room with 1 bunk bed and 2 single beds. We loved having the kitchenette and dining table. It was about 15 mins walk from Shinjuku station, would have been better if it was slightly closer.

This place is exactly what we need. Big room for a family of 4. Kids love their bunk beds. It is quiet at night. Restaurants are closed by, and shopping area is 20 min away from walking distance

Stay for three nights so far worse hotel! Dusty room, laundry room, limited amenities, small bed looks and feels old and dirty. Inconvenient location long walk to train station! I would not recommended to anyone.

Excellent hotel. Room was very spacious and had the microwave and fridge were very convenient. The room was clean and comfortable. The location was great - not far from the Shinjuku station and great restaurants nearby. We had a very nice stay.

What a great place to stay to discover Tokyo. We stayed 5 nights at this hotel. The rooms were good sized, good room service, quiet and most of all was the attentiveness of the staff. Fantastic.
Nicely placed in Shinjuku to access all areas of Tokyo with many shops, restaurants and transport options within 10 minutes walk.
Did I mention the staff ? 🙂. Nothing is too much trouble and yes their English is good. I will be back.

Room was clean and spacious and the microwave and refrigerator were very useful. Shinjuku Washington Hotel Airport Limousine stop was a very short walk from Mimaru so it was very convenient with all our luggages. We would stay here again on future visits.

Our family’s stay, two adults and four kids ( ages 2-11), at the Mimaru Tokyo Shinjuku West was just delightful. This was actually our second time at this hotel and it did not disappoint. Close to transportation, shops, and great places to eat, we love staying at this location!! The staff were ever kind and helpful and they really made our stay an enjoyable experience! Highly recommend the Mimaru Tokyo Shinjuku West for families, couples, singles, lol, everyone is welcome and will more than enjoy their stay!! A huge thank you to the staff for being so kind to our rambunctious kids and helping us navigate our way around!! Can’t wait to come back again, hopefully in the near future!!

The hotel was perfect for a family of five with younger kids, 5, 9, and 10. The staff was incredible. We had a medical emergency while staying there and the staff was amazing. Honestly, when faced with having to take an ambulance with your very sick child, to a hospital in a foreign country where you don’t speak the language having this staff on hand was so helpful and made a very stressful situation as easy as possible for me. Really, a great place to stay and wonderful staff.

Mixed experience - The front desk staff are wonderful - very courteous, helpful, and accommodating. The lobby is clean and so were the kitchen, dining area and bathroom. Unfortunately, I have to ding them on cleanliness of the bed area. We booked the Japanese style room and the tatami floors were really gross (like, dirtiest I've ever seen). Management should have had these changed out. We also found hairs on the sheets for the futons and one of the mattress pad had stains. Our western style beds were fine but maybe they forgot to clean the futons? I don't know, it definitely left us feeling icky. For the price of the accommodations we expected better in this realm.

Terrific home base for our family's time in Tokyo! While we're a tall family, we had plenty of space in the room to spread out as the bunk bed lay out is very smart. Staff is so helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend as a home base for Tokyo adventures!

Location is decent. Room was clean. The best way to access the hotel from the airport is the airport Limousine that is behind the hotel rather than walking from Shinjuku.

The hotel condition is new and clean. It's a 10 mins walk from Shinjuku station, but it is a nice and easy walk. I always enjoy staying in apartment hotels, Mimaru is going to be my top pick when visiting Tokyo

The front desk staff speaks fluent English. They were very helpful with luggage delivery and even called the next hotel for us to confirm our reservation. You can request amenities and jammies for free. Laundry machines work well and was not too crowded.

My family and I stayed at this location for 5 days and we were thoroughly pleased. Every staff we met and spoke with were professional, kind, and helpful. They took the time to answer any questions/concerns we had concerning transportation options, luggage delivery service to the airport, etc. My family and I are highly satisfied with our stays with Mimaru (Tokyo Shinjuku & Osaka).

Good location near Shinjuku station and metropolitan government building but far enough away that the area is peaceful and quiet.
Fully furnished with all kitchen utensils, microwave and hob.
Spacious with plenty of storage.
Towels and trash taken everyday with a full clean every 3 days however if you do not vacate the room by 12.30 the towels and trash don’t get taken and the cleaner won’t come in at all.
Beds weren’t very stable and kept slipping apart and the mattresses would move away from the frame.
Overall very good stay with a couple of negatives but would recommend.

Great stay with family with kids. Bunk bed good for two kids. Shower pressure is great. Forgot to check the roof terrace. Too bad it closes early at 8pm. Get some breakfast food the night or grab them from Lawson or 7 eleven.
