The property was peaceful and beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful. It was my first time to the island and upon arrival I was greeted at the airport by Andrew who transported me from and to the airport safely. Stephanie and Joseph was nice. The only thing I was disappointed with was the limited food menu. Overall I had a great experience. The pizza was great.

I booked this location via expedia. Upon arrival, the site was completely abandoned and under construction. Not a soul to be seen, guest or employee. The pool was drained and full of muck. Boards laying about. A bathtub ripped out and left on the patio. General decay. I called the number on their sign. Someone answered saying check in is only at 3:30, and since I wasn't there then, the worker left. Nevertheless, they said they'd be there in 15 minutes. 45 minutes later no one was there, and between the general state of the property and the setting sun, I was beginning to feel very unsafe. I hitchhiked down the highway after the sunset and managed to get a ride into the closest town, which had an inn above the local bar. A local later told me that the Sunset Cove and Rainbow Room is closed for I did get a phone call in the night after I left that I did not answer, and emails later on asking me to come back to be upgraded to their "luxury suite," but with the property obviously abandoned and under construction, I was in no state to trust whoever was emailing me. If you value your safety or your money, stay well clear of this place.

The place is run down, seems like lack of maintenance/money. Fridge didnt work, pool was out of service, and overall the pictures online are way better than reality. We liked the food at the restaurant and the people but prices are very high and we waited 2 hrs for a pizza. Worst part was that back home I noticed that they charged my creditcard twice!! Needed to call Amex to get money back. Check also reviews on google - I noticed more people got problems with CC payments.Luckily we only booked for 1 night and rest of the week in an airbnb which was excellent. The island is great!!

This is obviously a property recently purchased and the owners are slowly working on renovating it. In my opinion, they should shut down the property until it is completed and can provide the comfort and amenities the clients deserve for the price being charged.No TV, no Wi-Wi in the room, or even a trash can in the room. The shower water was a trickle The front desk had no workable key for the lock on the door. I had to enter and exit thru the patio door.Breakfast was not included, contrary to what was advertised.Zero access to the beach- it's a 20 min walk along the busy road to find a path to the beach.To rate the Sunset Cove on a scale of 1-10 I would give this place a 3.I'm a international pilot and have stayed a multi hotels and resorts.
