Excellent experience at hotel. Breakfast host seemed a little touchy but I quickly ignored her. Other than that we will definitely return in the future.

Overall the property was clean and well maintained. Most of staff was friendly; all were helpful. The location was across the street from a hospital yet noise was never an issue. Breakfast each morning was good with a variety of choices. There were times when some items were empty and the wait for more was too long. We had studio room. It was large enough for us; we did not miss having 1 bedroom. Enjoyed full size refrigerator and large walk-in shower.

Residence Inn was average. Breakfast was very average. Staff was average. Not friendly or rude, just average. The amenities in the room was below average. One fork, had ask for a roll of toilet paper, no extra roll of paper towel. No hand lotion. USB plugs didn’t work. Wasn’t able to charge electronic devices.

Overall, good stay. Loved the breakfast in the morning..some of best I had. Just wasn’t happy when opened pull out bed to crumbs and dirty. Had to clean the entire thing before making the bed. For the price, I was hoping for more cleanliness.

Staff was always very nice & accommodating. Breakfast was very good for a buffet style meal. Sofa was not comfortable. Sofa sleeper mattress was not comfortable. Doors to the hotel rooms were loud when closing making it very disruptive at night.

Everything was good about this hotel except the entire gym was closed! What’s up with that? Had an out of order sign on the door, very strange. Excellent bedding, pillows, pretty much a studio apartment! Highly recommended!

Stayed for a couple nights during Easter while visiting family. The room was big with full size fridge and kitchen. Breakfast was good. Convenient location. Staff was very friendly.

We love Marriotts and have nothing bad to say about this hotel except the fact that we arrived at 4pm but we could not get in our room until 5:30. We stayed for a night and had to be somewhere at 6pm. We planned to check in our room and get ready for our evening but they had absolutely no rooms clean/available as they were super short staffed. Not their fault, but it made things hard for us and our plans. My wife ended up having to do her makeup in the lobby.

Our room had problems with temperature control. We worked the thermostat but the room was still too hot.

The staff was terrible. 10 day stay. Un-friendly, no smiles, no "Hello", no "bye" or "have a nice evening". I would have even settled for a head nod. Always on their phones, talking loudly with each other. Totally ignoring all the guests as they come and go. And there must be no dress code ether. Waited 10 min when checking in for someone to come to the counter. The staff ruined it for me that's for sure. Rooms were nice, liked my lay out.

Rooms are large, full kitchens. Nice lobby and good breakfast. Room could have been a little cleaner, some makeup stains in bathroom and cabinets in kitchen could have been wiped down better. Very convenient area, lots of shopping options and easy parking near room.

Hotel employees were exceptional. Great attitudes and so friendly. The suite was 12/10 - It will be my regular place to stay when I visit VA for work. Thanks again!

Came for the 2023 Richmond Tattoo festival next door to this hotel. Check-in was quick with Expedia reservation.

Room was adequate although the bedroom piece of the suite is a little small. There was little hot water both mornings I took a shower. It was mainly lukewarm at times at best.

The staff was nice and the breakfast was really good with the exception that the cheese omelette was burned. One elevator was out of service during our stay and my ankle was cut by a metal piece extending from the underside of the bed.

The area was nice, the hotel was nice on the surface level, I was a little disappointed that the room wasn’t clean upon arrival, the fridge was dirty as well as the bathroom and there was hair that wasn’t ours in different places within the room. I had to clean the bathroom prior to my children using it. To make the day worse the pool was out of service the day we arrived which was disappointing as we came to celebrate a kid birthday. The front desk tried to be very helpful and they were pleasant . It’s just they have to clean a bit better and not just spot clean the rooms. And when you travel for particular items you def want them ( the pool).

Great hotel! Loved the location, it was very quiet with lots of parking, and close to restaurants. The room was very nice and had lots of charging ports. The breakfast was great! We really appreciated the variety every day. The staff was so kind and helpful.

A really nice room but Deadbolt was broken and since we were on 4th floor, room 418 the HVAC system was really loud and annoying!

Perfect location to Johnston Willis hospital. The staff was helpful and friendly. The room was immaculate, the bed and pillows were very comfortable. I thought it was a little pricey but overall very happy with the stay.
