Wonderful dog friendly resort

Very quiet and uncrowded.

Very pretty setting. Our room was a bit old and out of date.

Lovely place, very laid back with great service. The restaurant exceeded our expectations considering the island is, well, an island with limited access to the mainland. The only possible deficiency is the rooms need updated. Very few electrical outlets so extension cords are a must. The sliding glass door was expansive, with beautiful views of the marina, but very difficult to open and close. Also, very little if no sound insulation. Having said that I would definitely stay here again! Love that travelers have options from tent camping to full-blown suites. Although not the responsibility of this resort, I would love to see a sign near the ferry dock pointing travelers to the marina, or at least Lopez Village. We exited the dock at night with no cell connectivity and just followed traffic. Ended up on Sperry Road at the end of the public road, all the way on the other end of the island. Similarly, beware most parks and beaches are NOT marked well if at all. So get a physical map and use it, available for free at Lopez Village and at the marina.

The rooms came equipped with a refrigerator, silverware and wine glasses. That was a great added feature. Our room had a funky smell (maybe musty?). Generally most guests respected the quiet hours but there were some who turned the TV on loudly at 7 am or decided to have loud conversations on their balcony at 4 am.

I have been coming here since I was a kid. Resort hasn’t changed much but it is definitely one of the hidden gems of the San Juan Islands.

Tough to travel during summers, ventilation and air conditioning is a major miss

Wonderful trip this weekend. Great view from our room. Front office was helpful and friendly. We were staying during off season so the pool wasn’t open (no big deal).

This place is advertised as a resort but definitely more like a motel. The island was interesting, didnt feel very invited.

Ive never had a bad experience staying here. The views are beautiful, rooms are updated and cozy.

Amazing

Good location, spacious room. Off-season was quiet, but they seemed understaffed. Was hoping the restaurant would be open by 11a, but nobody showed up until 11:30. I guess that's just how they roll on the chill island.

Great location, amazing sunsets, very clean. Spacious rooms with large balconies. Excellent service at the restaurant and bar.

At $369 I felt it was overpriced it had a kitchen but no dishes

Fabulous view overlooking the harbor; excellent dinner at the restaurant; room was comfortable. Our room was on the 2nd floor which was great for the view, but I would have appreciated an elevator

People were nice. The clam chowder was the Best in the World! And the Berry Crisp alamode to die for. We had a wonderful stay.

This place is only OK. It’s definitely not a resort. The property is in desperate need of an upgrade. Paint was pealing off our porch, and we had foldable plastic chairs which was interesting, as we paid 300/night. No AC except for a tiny fan. It was fine as we were not in our room a whole lot, but paying such a steep price, we expected things like that to be taken care of. Staff was very friendly, and the restaurant is convenient.

Wonderful location with nice views from rooms and free parking at Anacortes terminal with shuttle from/to Lopez terminal to resort. Kitchens consist of mini fridge, microwave, sink and a few completely bare cupboards. Bring everything you may need. Nice enclosed pool but no hot tub. Restaurant good but pricy. Great live music and dancing on weekends. Overall a very nice resort but a bit plain for the price.

The walls were thin and could hear the neighbors and water running in the bathroom. Restaurant was excellent though. Food good.

This hotel has a great fireworks show, unfortunately they made us change our booking from a 2 night stay to a 3 night stay. They said it was their policy over Holidays to have a 3 day minimum but that was not what we were able to book through Hotels.com. They said since we agreed to paying the extra night they would help us out on a discount for our boat slip. In the end they didn't give us a discount, the rooms didn't have any cups, plates, knives or forks in them like they said they did when we called to check. Great place but wish they would have honored the booking or at least followed through with the discount for the dock slip. I also didn't end up with a reward night through hotels.com since it was originally booked for 2 nights not 3.
