Really nice cabin style property, very close to the hot pools. Opted for room with private bathroom which was convenient. No major issues, clean and convenient with great lake views. Would stay again!

Amazing place to stay on the edge of the lake. Beautiful views straight out of the living room. Appropriate heating and comfortable bedding. A must-stay property in Lake Tekapo.

We stayed for two nights in the ensuite cabin, was perfect for us and out two children for an overnight stay.

Stunning view and great for families

Very expensive for this property. Property is on the top. Besides caravan campground. Shower room is too tight and the waters dripping all over the floor. Even theres a shower curtain. The switch from electric blanket is hurting our back because sheet is thin. The only thing that i like is the nice view from the lake which the reason i pick online that im expecting to be in front of lake and mountains.

This is our second time staying here and it did not disappoint. Our motel unit was up on a hill behind the reception area and so we had a great unblocked view of the lake, and we were able to spot bunnies from the windows at the back. There were seats on the patio and comfortable sofas in the living room that you could sit on and enjoy the view. Bedrooms were warm and the beds were very comfortable. Bathroom had a blowing heater and plenty of hot water so it was really good during the winter. Location was very convenient; you could walk to the village center by the lake. Coin-operated laundry facilities were at the end of the motel block which was convenient. However, we suggest watching over your laundry as the washing/drying is ongoing as we think someone hijacked our dryer. The dryer was already opened and our clothes weren't fully dry when we came back to collect it (we set a timer ourselves and we came before the timer rang).

Super convenient. Love the area. Great for walks. Nice and clean. I would definitely stay again in the future and would recommend to a friend!

We loved the modern and clean layout. The convenience to town and hotpools was amazing. The view stunning day and night. It was lovely to have space inside and a wee deck outside with furniture. We would definitely stay again xxx

Lovely stay

Although we had a private cabin people were walking in front of our front glass doors frequently. It did not feel private unless all of the curtains were closed. Not great value for money.

What a lovely find! We wished we could have stayed longer. Greeted so warmly at reception. Stayed in a lovely, clean cabin with well thought out kitchen additions eg kettle, cutlery, cups, etc Such a beautiful place to wake up on the water. A nice quiet park.

Great location for Tekapo springs, lovely views. Shared bathroom facilities good.

your kinda paying for the location here. the standard cabins really need some proper bench space, especially with the kids, and a garden tap at least for drinking water without having to go to the kitchen would have been great.

What a great spot! We arrived late, but found an envelope with key and directions! The cabin was just right! Will come back for sure!

The motel unit was very clean and well presented.Views from the room were fantastic over the lake. Staff were very helpful and accommodating when our flight got delayed so we didn’t get in until late in the evening. The bathroom was quite dated even though it had been renovated.

Great place to stay !!

A good location with a short walk into the town centre of Lake Tekapo. We stayed in the standard cabin for 2 nights which was nicely decorated and clean. It was advertised with having wifi however we had no wifi for our whole trip as it didn’t seem to reach our cabin. There is also no mobile data coverage there so we weren’t able to use our phones unless we were in a communal area. The toilets and showers were clean however we were dissatisfied with the kitchen which was incredibly dirty and busy. The hob cookers were filthy, there was no room in the fridge and not enough space to cook/clean meaning you had to queue at times outside to use the facilities.

Room is dated but kitchen area is renovated. Lake view✓✓!! Hated the tiny shower stall where the shower curtain kept getting to my legs while showering as blown by the ventilation fan over the ceiling. No shower head. Uncomfortable taking shower. No Shampoo provided . Body wash ran out . Great location for Star gazing!!

Basic cabin with electricity but no running water. Clean, comfortable bed… but should have read further as the toilet is across the gravel parking lot and not fun to access at night. Coffee/tea available in room. Walking distance to hot springs. Great for those who do not need to get up at night or mind sleeping near campers/ vehicles/ generators at night. Clean comfortable common spaces.

Nice property right on the Lake. We had a lake view room with an en-suite bath. It wasn’t overly fancy but it served our purpose. The bed was comfortable and the room was somewhat quiet. It had great access to nearby trails right from the property, which is the reason we chose to stay here. Office staff was friendly and helpful. Kitchenette provides for microwave cooking only, no hot plate or stove. We got fish & chips from a food truck right on the lake and it was delicious (Better Batter was the name). Wifi was not terrific but it served our purposes well enough.

We loved our cabin. Everything was in working order, clean, good vibes.

Wonderful property with ample room. We loved the cabin vibe. We felt safe and the place was clean. It’s easy to walk down to the lake and watch the moon rise and the sun rise. The minor minuses: intermittent WiFi, creaky floors but that’s being really picky.
