About 15 min walk from the beach

Paid more for a "view" room. Got a room on the 2nd floor with a view of the building across the street. Was told no other room available and was not compensated.

Residence Inn Marna del Rey is a good clean property, rooms are modern and nice. It’s not a cosy place, it has a business vibe to it. Very nice location right on the marina with very good access to a walking path around the marina to walk and look at the amazingly expensive boats there.

After a 5 days in LA we only ended up staying for one night and the only thing we regret is not staying there from the beginning. Great hotel, beautiful location!

Everything good

My wife and I tested positive for COVID-19 the day of our reservation. We immediately did the responsible thing and called to try to reschedule our reservation for a different day. The hotel would not consider this and would not even issue a partial credit. This kind of policy is very poor customer service and encourages people to still use their reservations in cases like this, exposing others to the virus .

Nice and clean beautiful view

Great location and restaurant. Basic room, but large. Some hardware in bathroom in need of repairs. Strong sewage smell in room at times.

Tried to check in early but room was not available (which is fine). Spent $30US at the bar (2 drinks!) Waiting until guaranteed check-in... No room available. Service was friendly but I did have to remind I'd been up since 4am and on a flight. Magic was worked and we were allocated a room shortly after 4pm. The hotel is beautiful. Modern and amazing setting. Beautiful views. Quiet area. Rooms are modern and well equipped (kitchen). Bed so comfortable, bathroom modern. View of marina breath taking. Not many bars / restaurants around in walking distance, drinks at hotel bar we found to be very expensive. We Ubered to a few places. Had some lovely walks in the VB canal area and several walks all the way to Santa Monica. Breakfast is pre packaged due to COVID but plenty to choose from. Lovely views.

It is right on the Marina and minutes away from the beach. Beautiful and clean rooms.

Excellent location - fantastic spot right on the marina - a walk to the beach or great dining and shopping spots in MDR. We spent a month traveling in CA and this was one of our stops.

Great hotel in a fabulous location with an attentive staff. We’ll be back.

Great hotel but $46.00 dollars a day for parking was just plan gouging.

The hotel area was great but I did not get the room I booked. I booked and paid extra for a balcony and a marina view for our anniversary. Upon checkin, we got balcony room with no view and then were moved to a partial marina view with no balcony. The hotel was out of balcony view rooms so we took that room and a credit but we still didn’t get the room we wanted. All else was good with the stay.

It is a nice hotel with a great view of the Marina.

Beautiful hotel and property, but The front hotel staff are rude and lack customer service skills..had a reservation for 4 nights left after the first night.

The Residence Inn was perfect for our staycation getaway. We stayed for a day and it was a fun place to hang out with a friend. The suites are big enough where you can just hang out in the room for the day.We were no frills so the fact that we didn't have a view for the bay was fine BUT the booking listed the room as having marina view so I would be careful about checking with the hotel to ensure you have a view if you want it.It was nice to walk around the bay. The bar drinks were great (naturally expensive though) and the restaurant downstairs is convienant.The reception desk does not answer calls in the morning which was frustrating.Otherwise, cute spot to hang out and walk around the bay and beach.

Except the view, the room was having issues. Automatic curtains not working, the entry door lack was not reading the key properly because it was broken. I wasn’t happy with the room condition

There was not hot water in the shower and they couldn’t move me to a different room they said. It was terrible taking an ice cold shower

Everything was perfect!!!

It’s new and clean and spacious and in a great location. Our car had a box on top so couldn’t go into the garage, so they kept it in the front. It is $45 extra for valet parking only, but overall we would stay there again. We really appreciated the noon check out tome too!

Great rooms. Great location and great staff. Loved it and we will be back
