We had a lovely view of the ocean and the village. We enjoyed the room very much, and took advantage of the balcony and the rooftop hot tub and terrace. Super cute decorations. Hotel is in the thick of all the action. No parking but we were given clear instructions on our choices, which were easy. Overall, loved this town!!

Rooms are small and clean, not a lot of room for bags. service is excellent, the area it's in couldn't be better. Overall I'd say its a very good hotel and I would definitely come back.

We loved our stay at By the Sea. Wish we could have stayed longer! The rooms were clean and suited our needs perfectly. We were a short walk from the beach, shops and restaurants. Parking was a challenge, but the hotel provided suggestions and we found something about a mile away. I imagine parking will be much more difficult during high season. Overall, great experience and would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful breakfast in nearby café. No parking nearby but staff provided list of streets to look for free parking. Beautiful corner room with two balconies. Gorgeous view. Lots of restaurants and cafés. Mattress very soft. Bathroom faucet needs tightening.

We booked a sea room view and it was wonderful! Great view of the water. Staff was very nice and helpful. Location was perfect for restaurants and shopping. Also close to the bus stop to go up to the lighthouse and check out the waves. And, the breakfast that was included was a great plus!

Great location, fantastic beach view, and loads of local restaurants right outside the door. Breakfast included at a local restaurant and it was delicious and plentiful. Street is bright and can be a bit noisy but windows have electric outside blinds that made all the difference. Also amazing water pressure in shower. Would stay again in a heartbeat.

Staffs are super nice!

Floor in room wasn’t clean. Fair amount of sand when I checked in. Took a bath towel and ‘mopped’ floor. Other than that, was a decent place , great location and a nice breakfast available off site.

This is not a bed and breakfast. It is a small hotel. Rooms are modern and clean . There is a restaurant right under the hotel that is very noisy . The whole area is very noisy until 2 am. Parking is very difficult to find as area is very popular Front desk sent information about parking but was not helpful trying to find parking at night. Window would close and front desk didn’t answer message. He did help close the window because he just happened to come up and we asked him . If you just like yo party and are not bother by noise this hotel is good otherwise another place may be a better option,

Good location, nice view and comfortable. But the owner did not tell us that there were concerts 20m from our room windows till 2am at night in August. So it was awfully noisy

Parking in this city is a challenge. Having additional tips from the property would be helpful. The room is bright and might be loud for some people but it’s in the heart of the action so it depends on what your looking for. Room was great! Awesome view from the double room!

I stayed here on a trip through Portugal with a college friend. I had a room with an ocean view. His view wasn't quite as good, with a view of the street and a sliver of the sea, but he still really liked his room. The hosts are very nice. Do remember that it will be tricky to check in before 3:00. Not a big deal. It might be possible to contact the hosts ahead of time to arrange something if you're going to arrive early (we hadn't done this). So we ate at the excellent restaurant connected to the property and then checked in. It was very simple to get in and out on our own after that at any time. We didn't use the rooftop hot tub, but it looked nice and there's a nice view from the roof (it isn't a tall building). You'll be right next to the southern beach, which is the beach where everyone hangs out. The water was very cold in July! It's a gorgeous setting. You'll want to go up to the famous point (with the Farol de Nazaré) just to the north to see where the giant waves are born for big wave surfers. For breakfast you get a voucher that gives you a nice breakfast at a restaurant on the same street. AC worked well. Would definitely stay there again!

Immaculately kept building with super comfortable rooms within walking distance to everything in Nazare. Warning - parking is kind of tough but the hotel offered some suggestions and we found spots both days.

This was a first class experience ,location and the staff were 5 star. I highly recommend a stay here

Right next to the beach, expect to park your car between a quarter and half mile away. Breakfast provided was nice. Hotel was clean and comfortable.

Close to everything Beach was beautiful

EVERYTHING WAS FINE EXCEPT IN THE MORNING BREAKFAST WAS SUPPOSE TO BEGIN AT 8AM IN A PLACE ACROSS THE PLAZA AND I WENT OVER AT 8:30 AND IT WAS CLOSED TIGHT!
