From our arrival to the day we left, the front desk staff were welcoming and helpful. I had stayed here before a number of years ago and noticed the upgrades to the lobby and rooms. Very nice! Since we tend to stay at a Holiday Inn Express when we travel we knew what to expect at breakfast, which we enjoy, but this time we met Joyce! She was fantastic, helpful, funny, friendly and efficient. Loved the room. Lots of space to stash and store belongings and bags and to plug in and charge electronics (in the lobby too). What a relief to be able to empty our arms of belongings somewhere other than the beds when we came in! We had 4 adults in this room and it was comfortable and roomy. Wish i had an extra pillow. But that's it for complaints! One thing i really liked is the Dove products in the bathroom ... none of those tiny little wasteful bottles of stuff. And there is a Krispy Kreme directly across from the hotel ... keep a look out for the 'Hot and Now' sign! I highly recommend this hotel.

Trivia at front desk.

The hotel was nice, unfortunately there were baseball kids and family partying and running the halls. The parents are worse than the kids.

Smooth check in. Newer hotel with nice lobby. Great pool. Plenty of parking. Clean and modern rooms. Plenty of restaurants nearby.

The rooms were nice and the hotel was close to quite a few restaurants. The pool was a cherry on top.

Joy, the breakfast attendant was super nice and makes excellent pancakes and sausage gravy.

Staff is attentive

Very nice and clean . However, not enough carts available to bring your luggage and other items in. The desk clerk did offer to help.

Everythng was great coming in. For the second day the rash was not taken out and towels were not replaced for clean ones. Other than that customer service and breakfast were awesome. Thank you so much.

The hotel seems to be recently renovated or built. Clean hallways. Spacious and clean room. There was a standing shower (not a tub) in the bathroom which I prefer. There was a bench in the room that was helpful to lay out our suitcase and miscellaneous. Great breakfast selection (did not try the pancake maker). Front desk and breakfast host were very hospitable. Did not try the pool or gym.

Miss Joyce at the breakfast bar is absolutely wonderful. She greets you with a warm smile and “Good Morning” every day. As repeat visitors we even got a hug.

Looks like a fairly new property. Staff is very knowledgeable, courteous. Room was spacious.

The front desk people were polite, friendly and very efficient. We were allowed early check in, which was very nice. The breakfast was excellent and the attendant was kind, helpful and very efficient. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It was a good overnight stay.

I don't have any criticisms about this stay. Everything looks new and clean. Very comfortable. And it's a quick trip into Louisville, if that's what you're looking for. Service was great too. The front-desk staff was always helpful, and the woman running the breakfast service has a great, engaging personality. She's also like having your mom onsite, always making sure you've got a napkin, the right utensils and cream cheese for your bagel. If you've tried to find accommodations before in the Louisville area, you know it can be a crapshoot unless you stay at the highest end properties downtown. I've had a lot of swings and misses when coming to town, which I do often. This is the first place that I will definitely repeat in the future.
