We have been staying here for over 40 years and we love it!! Close to the beach, shopping and many choices for food. The staff was great, they went above and beyond to help our stay be the best.

I stayed here to do in depth research and writing. the room was comfortable and roomy, the staff was incredibly helpful, and the location near the ocean was soothing. i loved my stay!

Lovely kitchenette room with second, private bedroom; personal patio and community patio with amazing view of beach and ocean from high on a hill! Kind and helpful staff. Beach chairs and boogie boards freely borrowable. Easy access to beach, coffee, and ice cream. Pretty neighborhood. Short walk into town. Could not have been nicer!

Beach was close. Restaurants were close by. Rooms are clean and staff is very friendly and helpful.

Very clean, quiet and walkable to the beach and dinjng. Kitchenette had everything you need although we weren't there long enough to enjoy tgat. Highly recommend!

I’ve been coming here for 25 years, and am never disappointed…The rooms are newly renovated and always clean with the patio door open to the best view in Encinitas…At night when everything gets quiet, you can even hear the waves crashing from your room…

Soooo close to the beach. Waking up every morning with an ocean view was bliss.

It was remodeled and clean inside. The staff was helpful and friendly. We loved the view and enjoyed sitting on the balcony enjoying the ocean view.

This is a very small property within walking distance of the beach, that is a nice perk. We had a room with the kitchenette on the bottom floor. Very limited supplies for cooking and only 1 burner works at a time, 2 pans and no pot included. No kitchen towels, paper towels, or extra garbage bags included. Very thin walls, you can hear neighbor conversations and trains at night. Apparently the cleaning staff turned the fridge off before we arrived so all our frozen food went bad overnight, it was all cold when we arrived. The staff showed zero concern about our food being ruined. The shower head had zero water pressure, no stopper for a bath option and the toilet was running our entire trip. Small upgrades would make the stay much better, feels run down and not well taken care of.

This place is so relaxing and the staff was great! They upgraded our room to a Ocean View! Thank you again for a great getaway!

I typically do not leave reviews but this place was such a gem! From its prime location (next to a gorgeous beach and various shops) to its outstanding customer service (thank you Jennifer for all of your help) this is a place you do not want to miss!

Solid choice

We have stayed here before and again are very happy! Beautiful views of the ocean and a lovely balcony to sit outside. Our room is large and quiet and clean. The front desk is very friendly and helpful. Thank you!
