The hotel was very clean and the room was very comfortable. It was one of the quietest places I have stayed at and the bed was very nice. I would stay here again.

Front desk staff very friendly. Room was clean and bed was very comfortable. Good value for the money. My only suggestion is to have hair dryers in the room. I didn't bring mine because any hotel i have stayed in for the past 10 years have them.

Not much to complain about except they need fans in the bathroom, my sister sister shower set off the smoke alarm in our room with the steam from her shower because there was no exhaust . chairs in the room at least one?would be nice,there was no hand soap in the bathroom and there is only two pillows on the bed, They need to at least have four for comfort. Other than that the stay was very pleasant

We could tell there have been updates and renovations to the rooms which are nice, but generally the lobby isn't that nice and the grounds and outside area could use some work. Also, the breakfast wasn't that great or very well monitored.

Our stay was just one night. The room was small but clean and comfortable, with refrigerator and microwave. Staff was friendly. We only had contact with them at check in and check out. Breakfast was a little disappointing, mostly wrapped food items and waffles. But overall, it was worth the cost.

Dirty hotel. No elevator so you have to haul all luggage up many stairs if you aren’t on the ground floor. No phone in room. Bathroom was gross and a hole in the wall with exposed plumbing.

What a great place to stay, right off I76 and near Kent State. Did not expect a truck stop to be so nicely furnished. Good breakfast, comfortable beds. Loved having so many security cameras monitor parking lot. Very friendly front desk. Nice gym, but bring your own entertainment as TV in gym does not work. Would definitely pick this hotel again.

First and only stay. I almost bought another hotel room after seeing the room and property. Then almost drove home at midnight when returning back to the property and finding the ENTIRE parking lot filled with line worker trucks.

It was a good place to stay. Very clean everywhere and couldn't hear the highway traffic because of the distance away from it and the trees. The bed frame was noisy getting into or out of but otherwise good. If we are in the area again then this will be our go to hotel.

Overall the property was ok. The refrigerator was nice and cold which usually doesn’t happen in other hotels, the bed was comfy but the door to the room did not have a deadbolt as an additional safety measure. There was a small chain lock but it was broken. Anyone with a keycard could have entered my room - didn’t feel secure.

Booked a last minute 1 night stay while on a business trip. Rates were very reasonable and I honestly wasn’t expecting much. The service from the front desk was prompt, friendly and very welcoming. Hallways could use some updating but the room was great. King bed with fridge, micro, and updated bathroom. Would stay here again

It was close to the freeway. The price was reasonable. The bed was comfortable. The breakfast area opened at 6 am. We went down to breakfast at 9 am and there was not much food left.

This was a last minute reservation because our original hotel had a power outage due to severe storm weather. The lobby was surprisingly welcome and checkin staff was very friendly and helpful. Facilities were a bit dated but otherwise clean and comfortable.

Part of the hotel was tore up and areas closed off. Ice machine did not work. Bed let out a loud noise just by sitting on it. Walls to rooms were really thin. We could hear the dog next door just walking around. The staff was very kind and helpful. Breakfast was really great!

This seems like a pretty safe Hotel and was clean and in good condition. The only reason for knocking off 1 star was the only way into the Hotel was the main entrance even though there were multiple other exterior doors. You could exit from these doors but they were locked and did not open with the key card. It was not a bad card as this was confirmed by the desk clerk. This was a pretty big inconvenience since my room was at the far end of a long hallway from the desk. When leaving for the final time I put something in the door to keep it from latching since I had multiple trips to make to my motorcycle.
Also, there was bagels to toast but nothing to spread on them except butter. Very minor complaint.

We spent 2 nights at the Royal Inn and had no major issues. Overall the hotel was average and seems to be undergoing some renovations or updates. The room was basic and no frills. There was a free breakfast that offered a few bottled juices, milk, coffee, muffins, granola bars or microwaveable breakfast sandwiches. We didn't bring a pet, but the hotel seemed to be very pet friendly and we had no issues. It was an affordable that provided a basic experience. Worked well for being out and about during the day and just coming back to unwind and sleep. Would recommend if needing a place to stay but not expecting high amenities or frills.

I'm originally from the area and stay there every time I go and visit. The property is clean and they are slowly but surely bringing it back to life. Only thing I don't like is the two big a$$ dogs that are kept at the front desk when there's no staff present. They lay on the floor and when you walk up to the desk they pop up and bark like crazy. Kind of scary lol but I'm also a dog lover so it doesn't bother me too much but it catches me off guard every time. Other than that, it's one of the decently priced properties in the area and it's actually nice and comfortable.

This was a clean and nice smelling motel that wasn't too expensive. It had plenty of pull through parking for my car and trailer. The front desk lady was very nice.

The only issue was one of the beds was a little creaky. But overall excellent value, easy parking close to the freeway. Good breakfast choices and a comfortable experience for our pets who travelled with us. The floor was not carpet, so it would have been easy to clean if a problem came up.
