Great location, very walkable to most major sites. We enjoyed a deluxe jr. Suite for 3 nights very spacious and well appointed.

We had a great stay! Beautiful room with great amenities! Fortunate to have a balcony with our room! We booked a suite which was very spacious. Coffee machine in room! Great shower! Breakfast was perfect! Something for everyone and even though buffet wasn’t busy. Come back after a busy day! Enjoy a free coffee in lobby! We decided to get the 100E bus from airport! Super easy! Around £5 per person. Pay on bus! Every 5 minutes. Only 3 stops! Great mode of transport! Hotel is centrally located! We walked everywhere! Enjoy! Recommend Beerstro14 for steak house and Candlelit River cruise by legend boats!

Excellent location. Oasis of calm in central Budapest with courteous staff and clean spacious apartment. Buffet breakfast was pretty good without being exceptional and supplies were running a bit low when we had a later breakfast one morning. But that is a very minor observation about an excellent facility - free coffee and cold water were particularly welcome touch

I am very critical and barely impressed or satisfied. Always find something negative about everything and Never gave 5 star for any review but this is The best hotel in my 20yrs of European vacations. The room is very large even in American standard and has a small kitchen like a studio apartment. Staff are very helpful. Totally exceeded my expectations

Really a first rate experience. Rented a 2 bedroom suite with a deck. Room and hotel was spotless, and amenities were very good (even a washer and dryer in the suite). Location is phenomenal. Buffet breakfast was always a bit crowded, but many choices.

Fantastic stay. The room was spacious, the balcony had a lovely view and the room was comfortable. It was the perfect location to stay in, and this being my third visit to Budapest, I would absolutely come back and stay here again over the previous hotels. One small point - we were unable to lower the AC temperature and as it was quite warm outside, the room did feel quite hot. Whilst we couldn’t get the AC lower due to the hotel system, they had provided a fan within 5 minutes of requesting which was perfect! Thank you for a lovely stay, we will recommend your hotel to anyone we know who is visiting Budapest.

Emerald Apartments are high standard, well situated in the centre of the old town, spacious, modern and comfortable. Once found, access to and from the Apartments is good, however the Hotel reception is not located on the same street address as the apartments which caused problems with finding the correct destination for driving directions.

The service was superb. Staff was helpful and very patient. They helped us with Bolt transportation, provided us with umbrellas and they also provided us with a 220 adapter. They recommended “Leo’s Sky Bar” which was magnificent and very special because it was my husband’s birthday

Great hotel ! Everything is new and maintained. Very good location. Free water on lobby & great coffee machine for free as well. Rooms ( suits part ) are very big and comfy. Bed is too soft and pillows extra soft which i dont like. Other than that - great stay ! Will come back again

We had a fantastic stay at The Emerald. Our suite was equipped with everything we could possibly need (and more) for a 3 night stay. The location was a perfect home base to explore the city and our balcony provided great views. All of the rooms were impeccably clean and were all comfortably furnished. Of special note, the suite was incredibly quiet. Will definitely be back!

I stayed in a Junior Deluxe Suite for 12 nights and it was amazing. I’ve stayed in 3 other hotels in Budapest recently and this is another level. Highly recommend!

This hotel has good locations near metro and close to major sightseeing. The coffee in the lobby is good. The room is clean and equipped with kitchen, laundry and dryer. Overall I give 5 stars for this hotel and definitely recommended friend and family.

An extremely good quality hotel located in the city centre, therefore being within walking distances of all attractions. Bedrooms are modern, well equipped and clean with good breakfasts served in the restaurant.

Fabulous hotel and location. Our suite was very spacious and clean. We had everything we needed. The location was near shops and restaurants. I would definitely stay here again.

Great service, great staff

Hotel is great location and our room was nothing like any of the pictures shown. It had a kitchen with everything you could have required if you planned on self catering which we didn't. Asked by email that as a gold member of hotels.com i should get a room upgrade and late checkout. Was advised we had in fact booked the top room so no better rooms are available. Had to pay £60 for late checkout in the end (5pm instead of 11am) We checked during our stay and other rooms was available every night. Seems Hotels.com Gold membership is pointless now!

The hotel well situated to things to visit in Budapest. The room clean and welcoming. The staff very helpful, we enjoyed the accommodations. I would recommend this hotel.

I enjoyed my stay here. It was very centrally located and easy to walk everywhere and catch the train or bus. The breakfast wa nice and everything was very clean. I would stay again when I come back.

Everything was great. Only check in was not nice. I was sick and i pleased the Personal to give me my room earlier than at 2 pm, i asked twice (11 and 1 pm) but it wasnt possible and i needed to wait till 2 pm to get my room and rest. I would wish, they would call the cleaning service to make it faster and use the bed.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Emerald Downtown Suites. The front desk staff was responsive. Our room was spacious and well maintained.

Everything was perfect

The suites could be improved. We had issues with the aircon as we felt it was not working. The suite was between 23.5-24.5 degrees for our stay, we mentioned to reception who provided a fan and maintenance came up the day after we checked in who just checked windows were closed and said it was working fine. We had trouble sleeping as the room was too warm. Nobody checked in on us after this for the remainder of the trip. Breakfast was over priced for the offering. No headboard on bed, no shelf in shower for products. Bedroom was too small and the fact you couldn’t walk around the bed was not good - there was a door each side of the double bed. Windows are not sound proof which also didn’t help us sleep. Location is central. Check in was good but at checkout we were not asked how our stay was.

Only one thing I missed, no CNN to watch. Last time they had it. Otherwise the best place for us, we are keep coming back.
