The room smelled of cigarettes despite the hotel being listed as no longer allowing smoking. Will not be returning.

Decent overall. The room had a faint smell of smoke so they clearly have had guests who didnt care about anyone else. Room was very good. Big fridge, good tv. Plenty of space. Good bed. I like lots of pillows but the 2 were nice

it's pretty sketchy looking on the outside but when I walked in the room I was very surprised it was very clean, updated and smelled clean. the ladies at the desk where nice and polite. for the money I'll probably stay there each time I go see my daughter

This place was a little shaddy not the cleanest area was alittle scary alpng woth some of the people look like a drunk and drug house

A handle was broken on one of the cabinets. You could also really hear people in the hallways and next door. Large pot holes in parking lot. But the beds were comfy and having a big fridge was nice.

Cigarette burns on the comforter. There was a fight in the lobby that had to be broken up. The app said there was free breakfast but we couldn’t find where that would have been nor were we told there was one upon check in. It is a place to sleep with 4 walls if that’s all you require.

First noticed truck w transmission out of it. Broken entrance doors, damp musty room. No coffee. Looks like people live there. Hallway carpet was greasy. No complimentary items or vent in bathroom.

The pool was unaccessible from the building we were in. The person who put in the flooring did not do a good job. There are gaps between the planks. The kitchette was fine, but there were no dishes like the pictures suggest. I would still stay there again.

2 females traveling together did not feel safe stopping at this location after perusing the parking lot.

Staff was very friendly. We had an electrical outlet that quit working. It was fixed the next day. Only complaint I have is there was no coffee pot in our kitchenette.

This hotel had access through a flying j truck stop only. The view was the trucking parking lot. The outside door was unlockable as the lock was broke! It was the most unsafe feeling we have ever felt at a hotel.

Outside doors not secured. Only 3 small bath towels provided. No dishes in room. Minimal airflow in room, so humid towels didn't dry when hung overnight. Dogs barking down the hallway. Beds are not comfortable for 2 people. Vacuuming in hallways at 830pm. Cleanliness inside room was acceptable, hallways felt dirty.

Room and pool were clean, the rest was a mess. Deferred maintenance all over. Busy location near highway was convenient, but not reassuring.

Stayed here multiple times. Usually really clean in the rooms. Area is next to a truck stop and freeway so it can feel a little unsafe as a young woman but I’ve never had issues.

loud noise in rooms across the hall, partying in those room, other had pit bulls and made my kids feel extermely unsafe, bathroom door broken, no one hardly at front desk staff noncompliant with english. could not understand nor speak it. Exit door didn't lock. Would Not advise if you have kids

This hotel had NO CART to put your clothes on or your luggage on. The room across the hall from us was being cleaned after a person lived in it for 6 months. It was smelling like one died in it. It was horrible smell!!! Can't be they didn't make him let them in to clean it. Horrible to smell. I was just to tired from the drive to cancel it. I am a sick person and our finale destination is the Mayo clinic in Rochester Minnesota.

Can’t beat the price, accommodating staff, studio rooms are nice and have many amenities . Stay to Sleep here and explore Des Moines easily.
