Overall nice place. The room was small and a bit pricey but good attention to detail.

Had a great stay on a lovely weekend in Wales. The staff were all extremely friendly and we enjoyed a nice meal and drinks in the restaurant and also sat outside in the large beer garden.

Wonderful views of the bridge, and the mountains on the mainland. Central position with easy access to the roads around Anglesey.

Hotel was lovely. Room on the small side. Drinks expensive. Avoid the sirloin steak as expensive and poor quality and badly cooked! Breakfast was lovely

Great position for both Anglesey and the mainland. Helpful staff and well appointed room. It would be really helpful to have the option of lighter duvet, the one provided was too warm for us and made a good nights sleep difficult.

The room and view for the Victoria was really pretty. You could see the Menai bridge from the balcony and the river. Lovely area with view outside to eat as well. Everything was clean and good quality in terms of the room. The only thing that let the stay down was the food. The menu options in the evening were limited for vegetarians and vegans and the quality / taste of the food itself was average. Would definitely stay again but e

Nice place, really good location. A few minor details could have been better. Hot water wasn't very hot and the toilet seat was badly fixed. Good to have a teapot in the room for making hot drinks.

Before our stay we were asked to have a double room instead of the comfort deluxe I’d booked due to shower problems (?) I hadn’t paid beforehand so that was fine. The room and en-suite were beautiful. Very friendly staff. Our room (3) was above the Bar and was very noisy when I was trying to get to sleep. I was woken up at 6am by the lorry outside the window delivering beer barrels. Breakfast was lovely. The restaurant room is the nicest we’ve ever eaten in and the view was amazing.

The ladies working on reception/front house could not have been more helpful or friendly, made the stay very positive and the rooms were very nice. Will definitely come back.

Since our last stay the renovations have enhanced our stay with a lovely room, bar welcome by receptionist a brilliant restaurant whose waitresses were so efficient and pleasant. The plug in the bathroom needs attention and another shelf is needed there for toothbrushes All in all a wonderful stay.

Last minute booking as a stop gap until we could check into our AirBnB for the week, the team at Victoria were brilliant, service was amazing, food was fantastic and they were super accommodating for us and our dog. Would highly recommend and will definitely use again when we’re next in the area. Highly suitable for business and pleasure. Room standards very high, all the amenities you’d expect - decent WiFi 60mb download speeds which is abnormal for somewhere quite remote.

Outstanding! From parking onsite, to great customer service at check in/out, fabulous surroundings, atmosphere, ambience and the room was so beautifully decorated! Very comfortable bed, real care and attention to detail down to the glasses for water, teacup and saucer even a full length mirror and a hand written note on the bed with Green and Blacks chocolates!! Important things like ENOUGH PLUG SOCKETS and in the RIGHT PLACES which are extremely important to me as a woman who travels for work. Also - Incredibly clean!!! Oh and the Food … And the wine!!! Affordable, great variety and delicious!! ABSOLUTELY OUTSTANDING !!!!

We were visiting Anglesey and wanted somewhere convenient to both Beaumaris and Gaerwen. We stayed in the Victoria before the recent refurbishment. It is outstanding - REALLY well done with attractive rooms and public areas. They have even improved the outside terrace overlooking the Straits with tables outside the dining room accessible through folding glass door (couldn't use when we were there - Storm Ciaran!!!) A great place to stay with lovely staff!!

We really enjoyed our stay-the staff were all very friendly and the room was lovely! The whole place felt warm and inviting and is well looked after, beautifully decorated and kept immaculately clean and tidy. My only criticism is that they could do with more soundproofing between rooms as the bathroom of the next room was behind our bed so we heard far more of the occupants bathroom habits than we would’ve liked! This is literally the only negative we found with our stay so it is dwarfed by all of the positives. The bar and restaurant serve excellent quality food and drinks, the staff are very knowledgable and will offer suggestions for any indecisive guests and we received excellent service in both areas.
