I stayed in the most excellent house there in Lewisburg!

This home was exactly as described. The location was so close to downtown! The decor was cozy. There were so many blankets and pillows to choose from, which was just one of the many ways we felt right at home. Great parking too. We loved it!

There were three of us. The house and location could not have been better.

Very nice, quiet neighborhood for a four night stay. Within walking distance of a vibrant downtown for shopping, restaurants and history. Walmart and Kroger not far (driving) for supplies. The Greenbrier Hotel and New River Gorge NP are within driving distance for day trips. The home is an old, renovated (nicely done) home with a slight tilt in the floors (and master bed), but was clean (my priority) and comfortable (husband's priority). Both enjoyed the back porch for sitting with cocktails in late afternoons watching birds and squirrels in the yard. Good wi-fi and cell reception. I would recommend this home for anyone coming to the area for a short visit.

Delightful Surprise was a "delight". Perfect location, and host was very responsive answering questions and providing ideas on where to eat and things to do. Would definitely stay here again,

Relaxing and peaceful. Easy walk to historic district and several great restaurants, antique shops and stores. Loved eating breakfast on the back porch. Would certainly come back.

Loved the house. Close to town and could walk anywhere. This trip was with my Mom and Aunt (83&86) so not much exploring for me. I missed on the description that one bedroom was in the basement. Entirely my fault. Keep this in mind if traveling with elderly folks. We worked it out. Other reviewers stated amazing bedding, they are correct! All bedding, blankets and towels are top notch. Would love to go back when I can explore the town! Thanks Anna!!

We enjoyed our stay. The cottage is perfect. It is warm and comfortable and with in walking distance to downtown. The beds and linens are top notch. Anna, is a delightful host and made check in and communication seamless. We can't wait to come back!

It’s amazing what this weekend get away from home did to refresh my spirit. The location was so quiet and peaceful, yet close to everything we needed. The house was immaculate and so beautifully furnished. My husband and I enjoyed every minute there. Thank you Anna for sharing your cottage with us. Everything was great!

This place is exceptional. The quiet location feels secluded, yet it's within walking distance to downtown shops and restaurants. Our stay was lovely. The host really thought of everything. There were snacks and coffee and the bathroom was stocked with anything we could have forgotten. The location was awesome, right in the middle of town just a block off the cute little main street with shops and restaurants. The decor was so cute! Beautiful linens, comfortable beds and pillows and artwork and decor was interesting and tasteful. Plus the host was responsive and helpful. Wonderful experience!
