Stayed here for 3 nights , not enough sun loungers for all the guests throughout our stay bit disappoint

This was our second stay at the Hard Rock Hotel Marbella. It was also the very first time ever in many years of global travel we returned to a hotel, simply because it is beyond outstanding. The hotel has a hard to define relaxed, yet exciting vibe about it. There is just so much to see and so much to experience. The staff is extremely friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and personable, yet at all times professional and respectful. A special shout-out goes to Andrea of the front desk, who went the extra mile for us so we could stay in the same room after we decided to extend our original three night stay by another night. Teresa from housekeeping also deserve a special thank you. She even wrote a cool message on the mirror in the room, making us feel extra welcome. And lastly, Guillermo from the curbside desk spontaneously walked up to us when my husband (who has some mobility issues) and I were only briefly waiting at the front desk to check out, took care of everything so we wouldn't have to wait, and graciously offered to carry out bags to the car. We will be back!

A bit worn hotel with an elderly drunk crowd. Uncontrolled music everywhere and poorly kept pool area

Great location, nice room, good pool area

The room service was terrible

Stayed here due to the name recognition that Hard Rock has but this really didn't live up to some of the expectations after staying at Hard Rock Ibiza a few weeks prior to this stay. Room was clean enough but some of the nooks beside the bed contained lots of hair & dust. I have short hair so was finding longer hairs in the bathroom (from cleaning staff) which should be taken care of. At the pool and we were informed you need to buy a bed for 200€ and they 'gift' you a bottle of spirits of your choice or champagne which was a bit of a joke. At all other Hard Rock properties we've visited, there is a minimum spend for these beds and we're happy to do that, but some days you don't feel like getting drunk by 1pm on a bottle of vodka + have lunch and waters etc. Service at the pool was lackluster at best despite it being so beautiful out there. With so many choices in the area, if you're going to be paying top dollar, we would consider other properites before coming back to this one.

It was all round awesome

We really enjoyed the stay and the pool DJ. The breakfast was really good and diverse. Location was great. Just a short walk from puerto Banus and there is an underground connecting the hotel to the beach. However, the reception staff seemed understaffed we waited long during check in/out as there were 2-3 counters. The staff themselves were very kind once it’s your turn in the queue. Calling reception was useless almost no one answer and the house keeping don’t clean your room early had to call and let the reception know that I need my room cleaned everyday which is not convenient they could utilise morning breakfast time or while guests are out/in pool to clean rooms it’s not by room order they have a different system that I couldn’t understand. Room service food was nice but was delivered in take away boxes which is not the best option for the environment.

Check-in took a little too long when there were only 2 people in front of us. We waited over 25min.

Humiliated from Check-in, and a completely ruined holiday!

Excellent service … I didn’t like parking

Rooms are tiny Pictures oversell way too much.. not realistic Had spiders on my pillow They let anyone not from the hotel in and disrupts the place Staff very friendly though.

It’s worth noting that we stayed there for three nights, and were only ever given my fresh towel. Also we never received any extra in-room complimentary waters…ever. Weird

Very busy and poor service

The staff and the location of this property are by far one of the best in the area. The hard rock hotel purchased this property and renovated it so it’s an older property! Rock did a wonderful job with remodeling and modernizing as well as decor and aesthetic However, because it is an older property, there are small tiny things like the AC and Wi-Fi are not as great as they can be

Great stay for a family of 4. The teen suite was perfect. 2 big rooms divided by a large bathroom with a bath. Although the hotel is more for adults, we did not realise this on booking but not one person made our kids un-welcomed and there were other kids there too. The breakast was fab too. Only a 12 minute walk to Porto Banus so very convenient. Would go back!

We loved the hotel, great pool scene. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. Breakfast and dinner were fantastic, great deal of choice. Short walk to puerto Banús - perfect!!
