The whole stay at this property was spectacular. Everything was as expected based off the listing. No surprises when we arrived. We stayed in the summer but it would be an amazing place to stay in the winter as well as you can see the bottom of the ski slopes from the house. Outdoors: Large driveway, enough to accommodate 5+ cars easily. Nice bonfire pit. Great hot tub. Great grill. Location: Can't beat the ski-in ski-out location for the winter. For the summer, we were just a few minutes away from a grocery store, our boat rental location, hiking at Swallows Falls and Deep Creek Lake state park, restaurants, etc. Kitchen: I've never stayed at a rental place with such a well stocked kitchen. Every possible little thing we needed was there. We made breakfast and lunch everyday and most nights made dinner as well. Great grill outside as well. My only comment is that the kitchen knives need sharpening. Bedrooms: Great layout to accommodate 10 people. Master bedroom shower is spectacular with the water able to come from 3 different shower heads. Shared Areas: Huge TV in the basement, along with foosball and an Xbox with games. Well stocked games and DVDs, all TVs are smart TVs with Netflix and streaming apps. Great lighting in the house. The huge bay window near the "bar" area was a favorite for some friends as a reading nook, or a napping area. I would 100% stay at this property again.

Very convenient property. The hot tub was immaculate. The spaces were great. I do wish the 3rd bedroom would have had a queen instead of a bunk. Love the master bath with a rainfall shower. Having a magnifying makeup mirror that lit up was great also. Very comfy beds and bedding. Lots of parking. Great ski locker and deer every night off the deck.

Slope Side was super clean! We walked in and the home smelled clean and all surfaces looked sanitized. We sometimes have high expectations about cleaning and I was so happy to see that our expectations were met! Slope Side was fabulous! The home was well equipped with all the cookware we needed and everything was in good shape. The master bedroom had an amazing skylight and the master bath was clearly updated with some cool features! the view of Wisp Mountain was beautiful this time of year. I can only dream of that it will look like in the winter with the skiers coming in! Taylor-Made took great care of us! I would highly recommend this home and our host!

This property offered my family everything you could desire and some…I was impressed with the fully stocked kitchen and the location was perfect. Everything else we needed was within reach. I can’t wait to plan our next stay

Nice place, located near all activities.

Overall, my family enjoyed the stay. My biggest gripe was with the 'check-out' instructions, which were primarily centered around cleaning the property... I was charged an additional cleaning fee, in addition to the rental fee; therefore, im perplexed as to why i am tasked with chores such as: stripping linens from the bed, straightening the house, emptying all trash cans and then hauling trash to the outside bear-proof container... My question is: what does the cleaning fee cover??? It may be more beneficial to rent a hotel room or alternative lodging with less stringent requirements in the future... Other minor, yet notable, nuisances: -The 3 bathroom house came with one roll of toilet paper (outfitted on the main floor). -The neighbors, who are residents, allowed their dog to poop in the backyard. Not sure where the property line delineates, but i was grilling dinner for my family one evening and a woman (a resident/visitor to the right, who drives a minivan/SUV) began walking her dog as if she intended to use the paved path - stopped abruptly. By the time i walked over to investigate, the dog was covering his skat! The lady casually an unapologetically walked back into the front of door of the house. Not sure if the act was intentionally offensive or just plain questionable practice... - My husband also noticed that the hedges and grass were unkept, compared to the surrounding houses. There were broken hedges and pine cones littering the property.

I grew up in Deep Creek but currently live in a different state, I was going home to visit my mom who lives on the lake. There aren’t many hotels in the area to choose from, and a vrbo usually ends up being a similar price. This place was priced good but it is more suited towards winter activities as there’s no lake access but that I don’t mind. It was really clean, remodeled bathrooms, and a huge tv in the finished basement. The only thing I didn’t love was the sunlight in the master bedroom which made the sun right on my face at 5:30 am.

This property is nice and located in a great area - walking distance to the mountain and the lake, super close to the grocery store. This property is run by a vacation rental company, and they had a lot of rules about check out (literally said to "straighten up" the house before leaving), but there was a family of spiders living in the guest bathtub. Once we cleared those out, there were very few issues. The hot tub was down to 91 degrees by our third night, and unfortunately since it was after 5 by the time we noticed, there was no one to contact for maintenance. The grill was filthy, however, the rest of the house was clean and spacious. It was nice to have two rooms with TV's as well so people could spread out and watch what they wanted. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed to cook. Check-in was super simple. Overall, a nice stay!
