Good place to stay for visiting Everglades

Close to restaurants and bars with a private dock and 3 tvs. Everything was great but the bed which needs a new mattress.

Got to my cabin and someone else was in it moving in

The ajor concern was deadbolt not operational due to a door jam which appeared to be a past break-in. Also the outdoor screened room had splits.

Enjoyed our quick visit to Everglade city. We didn’t arrive until after dark and had hard time locating the unit. Good location right on the water.

We had a great time on our visit. We live in Florida, so it was a tiny getaway. We enjoyed the property. There were 2 chairs and a sleeper sofa that were added to the cabin. It was very comfortable and had everything that was needed. The lanai was wonderful to be able to relax in. Being on the water was an additional treat. I was surprised one morning when I saw 3 dolphins swimming by. There are several restaurants with fresh seafood. We did a local airboat tour and saw many gators. It was fun. The one thing I will warn people about is the mosquitos. They are brutal. Have your spray ready. Thank you to the hosts for providing very nice accomodations.

This location was great for my son, who loves to fish. We were able to walk to a nearby shop and buy a fishing pole and all of the supplies he needed to fish for days. He caught a good amount of Red Snapper. We were very close to a good selection of airboat rides. Plan ahead when it comes to meals; it was difficult to find a restaurant open past 7pm. Groceries were very limited.

We’ll kind of a city. Great place fun fishing on the dock. Easy to rent a boat or get a guide. Thanks we will stay longer next time when fish are biting!
