The place was clean and tidy, and the heating and hot water were great. Lots of very hot water instantly and because the aparment was fairly compact, it heated up quickly. The hosts were easily contactable and ready to supply answers to my questions (the information on Booking.com was wrong refarding payment type, for example). The apartment was located not too far from the sea and the local supermarkets with a smaller convenience store right on the doorstep.

The facilities were just about adequate for one person but lacking for more guests (only two cups and two pans, for example and no frying pan). The mattress was in need of replacing. I kept sliding off the edge. Because there were no carpets (understandable) you are very beholden to guests in other apartments above and below (if you are in the middle one) so noise levels could be an issue, especially if you are a light sleeper like me.

The apartment is modern and fresh and was spotlessly clean , and the beds were all comfortable. Great location, not far from the front promenade. ,apart from a couple of minor issues, Would stay here again.

Would it be helpful to have a light over the key safe /near the front entrance so we could see where putting the key ,especially when it is dark at night .and if an extra key 🔑 could be provided as there were 4 us staying . Had a problem getting hot water from the shower, but after messaging the owner, it got sorted . Also, it would be useful if there was a simple and clear guide on how to work the heating. Somewhere to hang our clothes in the back.twin bedroom .

No sitting room or comfy chairs in the apartment- which isn’t what you want in a family/friend time away. Parking is stated as free public no need to reserve- it’s on street parking and we were not able to park by the property at all. It would be better if this was stated as it would of helped us decide if that’s what we wanted. Kitchen utensils are very basic- no mixing bowls, side plates, sieve etc. Communication with host was frustrating- I texted to ask about road safety due to amber weather warnings and had no response at all. Then on the first day of stay received 2 messages about extending stay and checking out. This felt like overkill, especially when the text message the previous day was just ignored.

location was great 10/15 minute walk from everywhere. Parking was good as there’s no residential parking issues. owners kept in contact over the weekend but messages were not instant replies

The heating didn’t work in the bedroom, wasn’t notified about it and it’s a cold apartment without it. couple of the radiators are not securely fixed to the walls. Shower is very small.

Easy check in and out and good communication from host. All the basics covered for a comfortable 2 night stay.

Could have used a bit more instruction on how to use heating. No freezer.

The location was very good as close to the beach, shops and work.

Location okay,not far from beach’shops’restaurants etc…. Ground floor flat has large extension at the back,we stayed here as it was a lot quieter than the room at the front. Host was very helpful in sorting out a couple of small issues we had. We would stay here again if we visit Morecambe.

Would have preferred a bigger and more comfy sofa in the living area. A corkscrew and bottle opener would have been helpful.

Initial impressions were quite good although once you realise it was a run-down property that has had a 'lick of paint' added then your opinion may change as ours did.

Infested by hundreds of small flies, they got into our food and drinks and were clearly hatching within the property. The source of the flies needs to be investigated. Power tripped out late at night. We spent 30 minutes trying to find the fusebox to get power back, eventually found it hidden behind a heavy wardrobe, which is ridiculous! Power tripped again at 3am and so had to get up, pull out the wardrobe and reset. We couldn't find the reason for the power tripping and would suggest an urgent electrical safety inspection. Bin in kitchen had food left from previous residents and was full of flies. Fridge had out-of-date food from previous people which had leaked into the fridge. We complained to the owner who simply said the apartment had been cleaned prior to our arrival. Not a very good cleaner I guess? Toilet cistern seals had gone and so water ran into the toilet continuously. Unpleasant odour in one bedroom, couldn't identify the source but didn't use the room because of this. Noise from neighbours' TV overnight kept me awake. Stopped at 1am and then re-started at 6am. If you choose to ignore this review then ask to see a recent electrical safety certificate as power doesn't repeatedly trip for no reason.

Very well renoved property and very helpful owner. Great local within minutes of the promenade.

The internet wasn't working during our stay, hopefully sorted now.

Really lovely refurbished and clean. Shops, pubs and restaurants not far away by foot or car.

Sometimes it's not easy to find a car park space.
