It was a great property. My family enjoyed staying here. The kids loved the pool the most.

We had a great stay! The house was in a great location and we enjoyed all the out door space.

This property was even more wonderful than we had imagined. It has a very comfortable atmosphere which makes you relax and just feel nostalgic. Very quiet, peaceful and enjoyable. It was a first stay with our dog ever, we were worried about cleanliness before we arrived but, WOW! All rooms were clean and neat! Bath amenities such as Shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hand soap, hair dryer were all set. There were lots of books for kids too. The pool was great. My teenagers had a blast, playing in cleaned water. The grill was well maintained and there was an extra propane. The grass area was also well maintained. The owner Jon was very kind, supportive and thoughtful enough. He had taken care of us since we reserved. If you visit to San Diego and want a private family fun time, this Hannalei House is just for you!

So much room. Good indoor and outdoor space. Four adult and four teenage boys at a soccer tournament in Oceanside. Perfect bedroom set up. AC worked well on hot days. Pool heated up nicely during the day. Airstream was key as one parent had to do some work during the day - a nice way to get away from the rest of the group if private space was needed. I have zero complaints and can’t thank Jon enough for his hospitality.

We had an amazing long weekend stay with our wedding party at the Hannnalei House! With enough room for everyone we had such a relaxing stay. We loved all of the different sitting areas outside and in and all of them were used at some point in time. My now spouse and I stayed in the airstream which was perfect for a little privacy if you don’t mind doing a midnight run into the house for a bathroom (which we didn’t mind!) The house is decorated so charmingly and there are plenty of toys for any littles that may be staying with you! We had two under four with our crew and both fell asleep swinging in the backyard chair swings at one point. Thank you Jon for all of the quick communication, you made extending our stay a breeze and we’re so glad we did!

Property was absolutely cute. Everything about the house inside and out was super cute. We enjoy using the patio in the back and in front of the airstream. Location was great. It was near target, Walmart, and Costco. So super convenient. Owner was very good at communication. Had to reach out to him a few times and he responded right away. Only compliant we had was the floors were dirty and dusty. We had to sweep and mop it. The rug also releases a lot of fibers

This rental was almost perfect for our family gathering. The family room and kitchen were big enough to accommodate our large group to gather to watch movies together. The older kids like to hang out in the former garage space, that has been converted into a large bedroom. This house was built in the 50's and reminded me a lot of my grandparents old house. Because of it's age, there were a lot of exposed plumbing, exposed wires and cobwebs in the "garage-bedroom". The older kids didn't mind, but some pickier adults might be turned off by the appearance. The washer and dryer are housed in a closet inside this same converted bedroom. The three other bedrooms are located at the other end of the house and provided sufficient privacy and comfortable beds. There is a fun hangout area in the backyard with cornhole, chairs, bbq, propane firepit and a pool. The weather was too cool during our stay to use this area very much. My daughter loved having the Airstream trailer to herself. The only downside was that the trailer is situated very close to a semi-busy street that would wake her up whenever a loud car sped by. But overall, we enjoyed our stay and would have no reservations about staying here again.

Thank you for allowing us to stay in your home. We were a family of 14 which fit everyone comfortably. From the beginning the communication between us has been awesome and quick. If we are ever in San Diego, I hope this will be an option for us.
