the host took long to respond

Host was very nice and accommodating, we had an event to get to around 2pm, he was already at the property and allowed us to hang around whilst it was being cleaned and allowed us to get ready in the property as well. Couldn’t fault them at all

Large living room and large conservatory with lot of seats. Quiet street with driveway parking for 2 cars.

Stinky carpet in the bedrooms

The house was located well for our purposes.

The cleanliness of the house was poor, with grease on the kitchen cupboard handles and a general sense of grubbiness and a horrible smell of cigarettes and vinegar when entering the property. There were absolutely no lamps in the property and the lighting options in the lounge meant either sitting in startling brightness or pitch dark. The sofas in the lounge and beds in the bedrooms were very uncomfortable. The blinds in every room were white and paper thin, meaning sleep wasn’t possible after sunrise. Basic needs were not met, including a lack of tin opener and smaller plates for food. The general feeling about the whole property was that the absolute bear minimum had been done before it being made available on booking.com

Nothing. The property smelt really bad and the loud music from the neighbour next door meant that I was unable to stay there with my 2 children. Completely waste of my time and money.

As above. Plus when the host contacted me regarding my complaints they told me to knock the door of the neighbour and ask them to turn the music down. The driveway scraped the bottom of my car and the steps into the property are a hazard especially at night.

The house is very spacious and fits 5 people comfortably

Unfortunately, there is a musty, wet fabric smell as you enter the house as well as in the bedrooms from the carpets. The property is otherwise incredibly clean!

This is a self-catering apartment. The location is alright.

Just one toilet.

The property was very comfortable, the bedrooms were big and spacious. Very beautiful home and felt very safe would 100% recommend.

It was a great sized house not to far from where we needed to be.

The house has a bit of a smell. Not sure if it’s water or a pet but the smell is like wet dog but could be the dampness on the carpets.

The location was great for what I needed thebhouse was extremely spacious and well kept the beds were comfy the pull out sofa were a nice feature aswell.

Spacious rooms with most facilities

No iron in the house, even when I asked. Cobwebs. Bathroom downstairs not ideal for elderly. Step coming into house unstable. Sofas old, and tatty. Plug in air freshener overpowering gave us all a headache. Middle room mattress not good at all
