My husband and I stayed here for 17 days at the end of October. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the apartment and the town of Burgau was delightful. We went out for dinner every night and all the restaurants were exceptional and within walking distance of the apartment. The apartment was clean and quiet and the bed and showers were comfortable and luxurious. We will definately be back!

Terrace umbrella was broken and we were never advised also when it was replaced again we were never advised and on several days the terrace was very uncomfortable without the shade the umbrella would have given. So the lack of this fairly important part of the terrace equipment plus the lack of communcation has caused us to make comment.

This apartment is very clean, beautifully furnished and has everything you need for a very enjoyable stay. We were met as promised by the local management team who did a great job of showing us the apartment and making sure we were happy and comfortable. We were there for a week in January and the apartment was very cosy and we were lucky enough to have sunny days which meant we could use the roof terrace to sit and watch the sun disappear behind the mountains at the end of the day. If you are there in the winter I would suggest that you have a car as Burgau is quiet this time of year although it does have a few bars and restaurants. The apartment is fully equipped and there are enough shops if you do want to cater for yourself. We had a great time here and would defiantly recommend, Thank you to Andrew and Julia plus your team in Portugal.

The apartment was very clean when it was given to us but was not ready when we arrived and we had to wait two hours for access. The roof terrace is a beautiful area and a great space to store lilo’s and beach essentials but is accessed from out side the main apartment. All in all the apartment was ideal for our family, very good layout out and great facilities for us to use with only a 7-8 minuets walk from the town. We would definitely return.

It's a lovely spacious 2-bedroom apartment on the 1st floor of a modern development, very nicely furnished, with a west facing balcony on the same level as the accommodation. Upstairs there is a roof terrace the same size as the apartment, with loungers and garden furniture. It's about a 5-minute walk from the centre of Burgau. We arrived late to be met and shown round the apartment by the very helpful Ana-Maria. Thoughtfully there was wine, cheese, ham, bread, butter and milk in the fridge, so we were set-up with things to eat and drink even though it was too late for a restaurant. Excellent!

We arrived at the apartment and as promised Ann Marie was there to greet us and had even bought provisions to make some sandwiches until we had got ourselves sorted.The apartment was spotless and had everything we could have possibly needed.We had a couple of very windy days so the rooftop terrace came in very useful.The apartments position could not be better, only a 5 minute walk from the little town of Burgau and at the end of the block so very quiet.All the restaurants are lovely in Burgau although it is important to book in advance. They are all small and fill up very quickly. We loved the beach it was so clean and not over busy and just had a super relaxing time.We have already booked for next year.Helen & John

I took a gamble and booked the apartment for May & September having never stayed there before....and it paid off! The apartment is decorated of a high standard and is extremely spacious with a balcony that gets the sun until it sets and a well equipped terrace. It was a lovely surprise to arrive and find a welcome basket of goodies to start me off. I was there for 10 days and the apartment was cleaned during my stay half way through.The owners are extremely helpful answering any questions with quick responses. There is access to the nearby pool at ZaZa's which is clean and quiet. €30 deposit which is returned in exchange for the swipe card. I can't wait to go back, but be warned.....book early to avoid disappointment

We have stayed in this lovely apartment many times. Its like home from home and very well equipped and always spotlessly clean.The welcome pack is much appreciated. Ana Marie is always on hand should you need her. We had a fantastic 2 week stay, the weather was unbelievable we spent many hours sunbathing on the rooftop. Can't wait to return.

The villa is in a great location and is decorated to a very high standard. I would highly recommend this villa to families looking for a spacious villa in a central location it's beautiful!

Beautifully furnished apartment containing everything you could possibly need for your holiday, the owner really has thought of everything and was exactly as listed on the website. A family of 4 with 2 teenagers, the body boards were a great success on the beach, as was the excellent wifi and TV set up in the apartment, a necessity for teenagers in down time! Only a short walk to the beach which was stunning. Lots of lovely restaurants in the village (Pre-book if possible as they get booked up) we loved the Beach Bar, Casa Padrana and A Barraca. Excellent service from the owners and also the team on site, the welcome pack of food was a nice touch after a long journey. We would definitely recommend to friends and will visit again.

We had a wonderful time at Julia and Andrew's apartment. We were very impressed by the overall quality of the apartment. It was spotless and everything we needed was provided and in very good order. The welcome pack was a nice surprise and Ana-Maria was very attentive and helpful throughout our stay. We liked it so much that we have already booked again for next year. We made good use of Tomik, a nearby restaurant which is very handy and very good. We also tried the new gourmet burger restaurant which does great burgers and fabulous grilled beef (actually fillet steak.) Everything is within walking distance of the apartment; beach, shops and restaurants, so a car is not required. We loved it.

Excellent, well appointed apartment, perfectly situated in a quiet spot, but only a couple of minutes from Burgau's shops and restaurants. The welcome pack was thoughtful and appreciated and Anna Maria is extremely helpful and available should you need anything. Will definitely book this apartment again.

Have been to Burgau several times and this apartment was the best for comfort and location. It is a lovely apartment, equipped with everything you would need. A home from home. Close to the shops, restaurants and beach. Owners are extremely helpful when booking. Will definitely book again.

The apartment is beautiful, and the photographs don't really do it justice. Decorated to a high standard with all the facilities you will need for a perfect holiday. The arrival pack was most welcoming. Location of this apartment is fab, in the heart of the village, but far enough to have a nice walk daily. Very home from home, with all facilities you would ever need. We would recommend this apartment to anybody wanting a relaxing holiday, in a nice clean spacious apartment. Added bonus for us was British TV for my husband whilst Euro 2016 was on, so I could chill and relax on the roof terrace, which was a haven. You wouldn't be disappointed if you booked this apartment

Fantastic apartment with modern kitchen and bathrooms, Internet tv, a variety of games for children provided, sleeps 5. Large balcony for breakfast dinning or BBQ, plus roof top terrace for sun and relaxation. Welcome pack on arrival which added that extra special touch. English speaking contact on hand was extremely helpful. Access to pool at Tomik restaurant, which also serves reasonably priced meals. I would highly recommend a visit to this hidden gem.

This was our second visit here and once again we were not disappointed in any way. The apartment is modern and fully equipped with everything you could possibly need. It has the benefit of being hidden away at the end of the block which provides further privacy in what is already a very quiet area. The view from the roof terrace is stunning and this is a lovely place to watch the sun go down with a glass of wine. We have two small children aged 6 and 9. They both thoroughly love the place and already want to return next year. You are spoilt for choice of amazing beaches, all within a few minutes drive. However, you could easily manage without a car and be content with the local beaches and public transport. The pool and bar which are part of the private complex are also great and a good place to end (or start) the day.

We have stayed in this apartment block on 5 occasions, and in this particular apartment, twice. The apartment is modern, spacious and very well equipped.The beds are comfortable and the decor is of a high standard. Little touches such as beach towels and a welcome pack of wine, milk, water, juice, bread, sliced ham etc were greatly appreciated. The BBQ is really useful and the roof terrace lovely for private sunbathing while catching a cooling breeze. Burgau has retained much of its charm and identity as a traditional fishing village, yet has a number of extremely good restaurants. Amongst our own personal favourites are Esquina and Beira Mar. Burgau has a beautiful wide sandy beach that never seems to get too busy, but for those wanting something quieter , there are a number of smaller beaches within a short distance of the apartments. We always remark on how lovely and peaceful it is in the apartment as it is located just out of the centre of Burgau, at the end of a quiet side road. We would highly recommend this apartment for a total chill-out holiday!

This is a really lovely apartment , it is very comfortable and spotlessly clean. It is well managed and you get a very warm welcome on your arrival. The owners have thought of everything to make this a real home from home. We particularly enjoyed time out in the very well equipped roof gardens. Burgau has a lovely beach and some nice restaurants. If you want a nice quiet relaxing break in a very comfortable well managed apartment I can certainly recommend this one.
