I can’t say enough about Casa Alfonsina! From the thorough check in with Ms. Teresa to the amazing views from every deck to the well stocked kitchen…everything was wonderful! Praiano is a sweet small town with fun beaches, excellent restaurants, and friendly people. It’s easy to get to Positano for a meal and shopping, but it’s so nice to return to the serenity of Casa Alfonsina in Praiano!

We very much enjoyed our stay, we only wish it could have been for longer.

The most amazing views of Positano and the beautiful Amalfi coastline. It’s exactly why we wanted to come to this place. The owners were very kind.

Amazing house with the most stunning views! I went with five other girlfriends and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The host is very responsive and helpful. Location was amazing as well! Would definitely recommend this and come back next time.

We had 3 nights at this lovely villa. It has a beautiful view of the sea. There are many steps down to the villa and into the town below so this villa would not be suitable for someone who struggled with their mobility. We really enjoyed our stay which included a bus journey to Amalfi.

The Casa itself was amazing, with excellent view of the ocean and Positano (which looks amazing at night). The hosts were helpful and we wished we spent longer here. Please note* and this for most of Praiano… the walk to the beach is about 30minutes, and mostly steps. We very much enjoyed it as a fit group however it is a longer walk than anticipated. As mentioned this would be the case for all accommodation in the area.

We had a great stay at the Casa Alfonsina! Perfect location for access to beach and hiking the Path of the Gods. Lots of walking! The house has plenty of space, very clean and modern with fantastic views! The kitchen is also well stocked for cooking. Our host Teresa was excellent and very gracious. She helped arrange for parking and was available for any issues. Definitely can’t wait to return!

The host was wonderful. The house was clean and exactly as described. Would ABSOLUTELY stay there again. Be ready to walk up about 200 stairs to walk to the house from the main village area.

Spent 5 nights total at this villa in Praiano. Clean and offers true villa experience with decor and amenities. Three couples stayed here and definitely enough room & private bathrooms for all. Outdoor shower on upstairs patio was a nice addition. Suggestion to future guests…pack LIGHT as pathway to villa could be a challenge with big, heavy luggage. Bring reliable walking shoes for stairways up to villa from street.(approx. 250+ stairs from street level) Great exercise though! The “Path of the Gods” is right on walkway out front door (take left to connect in) and lots more steps, but beautiful views from top! Bring water pack for hike! CIOA!

What lovely hosts and such a beautiful and magical home. Our hosts couldn’t have been lovelier, and the view is unparalleled. Sip your Apersol Spritz on the patio overlooking the Almalfi coast and the beauty of Positano with the scent of the jasmines wafting through the air. Do know, that like most towns, church bells ring staring at seven and go until very late and be ready to climb stairs since you are high up for the outstanding view. We will be back and are SO glad we did not stay in Positano!

We very much preferred the smaller town of Praiano to return to after visiting the busy and more touristy towns. Praiano has plenty of restaurants and also a small market to stock up your kitchen. Thank you so much for your kindness during our stay! We had three rentals during our time in Italy, one in Florence, one in Rome and this one. It was by far the best. 1) The view and terrace are outstanding. The terrace is huge, has two levels and there is a separate terrace off the living room as well. 2) It is very, very clean and well cared for. We were greeted by the lovely family who own it and they take very good care of it. Please treat is as your own as we did, so it remains as nice for our next visit! 3) We loved Praiano. It is not as touristy as Positano or Amalfi and we felt like more of a local than a visitor. 4) If you don't like stairs...well, it is the Amalfi Coast. I counted 206 steps here up from the main road in town. It's a bit, but we are mountain people and considered it just a little exercise. The beach is town is worth a visit, but an undertaking with stairs too. Again, it is the Amalfi Coast, so understand that you'll be hiking stairs. 5) We will return to this lovely villa if we have the chance. Enjoy! Summer in Italy was helpful when we had some questions about meeting the family to get into the villa. Our language skills are lacking, so they stepped in to assist with a simple phone call. Their communication about the rental was excellent.

My husband and I, our son and daughter and son-in-law had the pleasure of staying at Casa Alfonsina. It was perfection! A beautiful home, lovingly cared for. We cooked many meals in the well equipped kitchen and enjoyed the outdoor terrace all day long. It really is an amazing place. We recommend this home so highly. We would love to return some day. Teresa, the owner, was quick to respond to any questions or requests and even dropped off umbrellas for us during a downpour. She was so wonderful, and it was a perfect stay! Summer In Italy was remarkable. You all answered all of my questions, no matter how small. You provided local information that was very helpful and every time I reached out with a question, it was answered so quickly and politely. Casa Alfonsina was perfect for us. It is exactly as shown in the photos. The house is well equipped with everything we needed. The views from the house is absolutely gorgeous. It is centrally located in Praiano, there are steps to the house but we got use to them by the end of our stay. Luca at Summer In Italy was fantastic, he answered all our questions and was always prompt and courteous. I would definitely use them again in the future

We had a wonderful stay here with another couple. The house is in impeccable condition, so well made and in excellent condition. The kitchen was well stocked. There are two terraces to enjoy the view from and we took advantage of that during our stay. The bells of San Gennaro chime every quarter hour which was lovely, though thankfully when you close the shutters to the bedrooms you do not hear them. The location is fantastic given how many steps it takes to go anywhere. We were happy to be high enough to get the views but still a 5 minute walk down to the main road of the town. Our host Teresa was very helpful and kind. We had an easy booking. Communication was excellent and the house was all that was promised and more.

Absolutely beautiful views, great location, quiet and comfortable. The market and center of town is within walking distance. We love Praiano and would definitely stay at Casa Alfonsina. Casa Alfonsina is just beautiful! Praiano is quite, less crowded and easy to walk around in. There were about 150 to 200 steps down to the town center where there is a market, butcher shop, restaurant, coffee bar, and various shops.The home was very well equipped, comfortable beds, great kitchen and amazing view from all the porch areas. Teresa was at the Casa to greet us upon our arrival. She showed us around and explain how to use the appliances, gave us various information about town and even had a beautiful bowl of lemons for us. Our stay for the week was wonderful and I we would highly recommended Casa Alfonsina.
