The home was lovely. We gathered together for Thanksgiving. The home had everything needed to fix Thanksgiving dinner. There was room for everyone to spread out. The hot tub and game room were a big plus! We had 10 in our group and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their selves. Our cocker spaniels loved the outdoor play area. Our host Courtney was very gracious! We will definitely come back!

We came up on a Thursday and left Sunday, and had the most fun ever! The house was wonderful and cozy, and the firepit outside was the perfect place to relax and hang out, and Courney was so easy to reach with any questions we had over the weekend. The only thing we'd change is that we wished we'd booked a longer stay ❤️

We had a wonderful time at Courtney and Scott's home! It's perfect for a family or friends getaway, we loved the hot tub, game room and fire pit--we made many lovely family memories during our stay and the kids are already eager to return. There are so many amazing hikes to do in and within 30-40 miles of Bayse. Loved it, and Courtney and Scott are wonderful hosts!

Start to finish, this was a very rewarding retreat into the mountains. The hosts made everything so simple for us. The property itself is chock full of amenities and activities for all ages. We went in between busy seasons and ended up just enjoying the comfort of The Hideaway for much of the time. Shenendoah and Luray were just a drive away for a couple of fun day trips. The combination of activities along with very nice beds and bedding led to some deep and dreamy sleep. Although there were only two of us, I can see this house handling a big group comfortably. The pictures do capture some of what we experienced, but some moments need to be captured in person. We would love to do it all again!

Clean and spaciouse home to stay with my families. Really enjoyed fire pit. Game room has fun stuff to play. Well maintained outdoor and exteriors. Just 3min from Bryce resort and everything is close to drive within 15min.

We had a great time at The Hideaway! The property is pristine and had everything we needed to keep our kids busy. Loved the proximity to the various caverns, National Park, and Lake Laura!

We had a wonderful stay at “The Hideaway.” We were a group of 3 children and 4 adults and there was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. We all enjoyed spending time in the game room, the hot tub, and sitting around the fire pit. The house was extremely clean and communication with the owners was very responsive. This house was a great home base for us to be able to explore everything the area had to offer.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at the Hideaway (6 adult, one child, and one dog). The house was very inviting and we enjoyed all the amenities. The power went out a couple of times due to the weather, and Courtney was on top of it! She reached out each time to inform us that she contacted the power company, and power was restored each time. Great location to get away from the hustle and bustle! :)

We gathered with two couples for a quick weekend getaway and we really enjoyed our time in the house. The location was great, close to the lake and other events. The home itself was exactly what we were looking for in space, amenities and comfort. Only having two bathrooms was somewhat of an inconvenience, but we made it work with minimal effort. Really liked this house and would definitely stay again. Loved the hot tub.

We absolutely loved our stay in The Hideaway! Our adult children joined us, one with their partner, and there was just the right amount of space to either all be together, or do our own thing! The Game Room was a huge hit, as was the hot tub. We loved having the resort and activities available, although we spent most of our time just hanging out there! Courtney was a fabulous host and we are already eager to return! We didn't have nearly enough time! Thanks for a fantastic getaway!

This beautiful house has everything you need for a relaxing getaway. Loved relaxing by the fire and in the hot tub after each day's adventures. Close to many great restaurants and activities for all ages.

Beautiful home and property with amenities galore. The game room was a hit with our 3 teens. Enjoyed a morning hike around Lake Laura and a delicious meal at Freed’s Biscuits. The beds and bedding are unbelievable comfortable and the dining room table was great for cards and games. Awesome stay!

Perfect stay for a bike park weekend.

We travelled with our friends and family and stayed at the hideway for 2 nights. It is a very clean and well maintained place. We loved it there.

A nice house nestled in the woods of western VA. Had a wonderful time and would happily go back (barring the 10 hour drive from Boston)

Overall, just a really great property. It is huge with lots of space to lounge, sit and just be with friends and family. The outdoor spaces are truly spectacular and gives the property charm. The hot tub is a plus, and the game room is fun for everyone. The kitchen has everything you need, and again, storage and space for days. The owners were easy to communicate with and responded quickly with any questions.

This house perfectly suited our needs. We were very close to the resort which worked out well for coming and going to the house. We also had perfect weather allowing us to utilize the outdoor patio space which was where we spent most of our time. Hands down plan on returning in the future. Thanks,

This home was beautiful, stocked with everything you could need on a mini vacation and the amenities were great! It is the perfect place for family and or friends to gather. The beds were so comfortable and the furnishings so cozy and we loved spending time in the hot tub and around the fire pit, truly a relaxing atmosphere. There is a great game room with all sorts of activities. I don’t really think you could ask for anything more in a rental. The host was very communicative and very welcoming. We would definitely stay here again.

We had an amazing time and enjoyed staying there. After we went hiking and to the cavern it was peaceful to come back and enjoy the hot tub. If you want to have an amazing vacation I highly recommend coming here. The host are very helpful!

My family loved this property! It was gorgeous and felt very welcoming and elegant. The rooms were beautiful. We went with our 1.5 year old, and it still felt like a great and relaxing vacation! Their kids room was great and the pack-n-play was very easy to put together. The drives to different hiking trails and wineries were very reasonable. We definitely want to go back again!

My husband and I had the pleasure of celebrating our 10 year wedding anniversary in Albany. Lloyd was the perfect host and has gone above and beyond to ensure that his guests are comfortable. He is an extremely thoughtful host and I hope to book with him again in the future!

We came from various areas and this was a perfect middle spot for us and the place was fantastic!! The house was cozy and spacious! The hot tub and fire pit combination was a blast and the sound system was an added bonus while enjoying the hot tub and fire pit. The game room in the garage was great as well!! We loved our stay here!!

We stayed at this beautiful property as two families with young children for a weekend winter get away and it was absolute perfection. We came to introduce our kiddos to their first time skiing! We spent 1 day skiing and a second day snow tubing and ice skating. The location of the property to Bryce was perfect, as the kids were tired after long days, and the 3 minute drive back made it so easy for us. The house had everything we could possibly need, and was styled so beautifully. The hot tub, game room and fire pit were the perfect addition to the house to make it just as much of an "attraction" as our winter/skiing activities. We loved the 2 seating areas in the living room so when our littles were watching a movie, the adults could have our own comfortable seating area to sit and chat! The sleeping room setup was perfect and provided a lot of flexibility. Courtney was so helpful and very quick to respond when we had a few questions about how to work something or where to find something we were looking for. We would definitely rebook this house again n a heartbeat!

Property Manager was quick to respond, the house has a great layout for entertaining and joining families/friends under one roof, and location was convenient! Hot tub huge bonus :-)!
