Home was well stocked, easy to enter, plenty of instructions and information within the house. Everything was clean and updated. Tons of windows and fun places to hang out. Kitchen and bathrooms were well stocked, plenty of soft towels, blankets, etc..
The dog run was a great idea, our kids loved the game room. Fire Pit was awesome and in a great spot. Resort restaurant is two minutes away and food is pretty good. Great hosts, communicated throughout entire stay. We plan to return in the future.

Really enjoyed our stay at ‘The Hideaway’. The entire property way very inviting. We enjoyed the ‘fire-pit’, along with the ‘Game Room.’ The rooms were spacious, and the kitchen was well stocked. Courtney the host was so receptive to any questions! Would highly recommend!

We came down to celebrate my moms birthday. The property was well cleaned, organized, and had everything we had expected. We loved the fire pit, ping pong table, as well as the very big family room and kitchen where we all spent time together. Would recommend!

Just as advertised and location was excellent. Our family of 6 had a lovely relaxing weekend in the house. Beds were all super comfy and lots of space to spread out. This house has some beautiful indoor decor which makes it feel cozy, while having lots of room. The hot tub and game room are fun for the whole family. The resort is just a short drive away. The kitchen is stocked very well. We’d stay here again.

This place was very comfortable for multiple families and super cozy with the fireplace and hot tub! We were surprised that that game room was located in the garage, but maybe we missed that in the listing. Comfy beds, lots of space to sit in the living area, and a spacious kitchen. Great house for a family gathering! We enjoyed Luray Caverns, skiing, and sledding in the area. The house's hot tub, game room, and fire pit were a plus.

The home was lovely. We gathered together for Thanksgiving. The home had everything needed to fix Thanksgiving dinner. There was room for everyone to spread out. The hot tub and game room were a big plus! We had 10 in our group and everyone thoroughly enjoyed their selves. Our cocker spaniels loved the outdoor play area. Our host Courtney was very gracious! We will definitely come back!

We came up on a Thursday and left Sunday, and had the most fun ever! The house was wonderful and cozy, and the firepit outside was the perfect place to relax and hang out, and Courney was so easy to reach with any questions we had over the weekend. The only thing we'd change is that we wished we'd booked a longer stay ❤️

We had a wonderful time at Courtney and Scott's home! It's perfect for a family or friends getaway, we loved the hot tub, game room and fire pit--we made many lovely family memories during our stay and the kids are already eager to return. There are so many amazing hikes to do in and within 30-40 miles of Bayse. Loved it, and Courtney and Scott are wonderful hosts!

Start to finish, this was a very rewarding retreat into the mountains.
The hosts made everything so simple for us. The property itself is chock full of amenities and activities for all ages. We went in between busy seasons and ended up just enjoying the comfort of The Hideaway for much of the time. Shenendoah and Luray were just a drive away for a couple of fun day trips. The combination of activities along with very nice beds and bedding led to some deep and dreamy sleep.
Although there were only two of us, I can see this house handling a big group comfortably. The pictures do capture some of what we experienced, but some moments need to be captured in person.

We had a wonderful stay at “The Hideaway.” We were a group of 3 children and 4 adults and there was plenty of room for everyone to have their own space. We all enjoyed spending time in the game room, the hot tub, and sitting around the fire pit. The house was extremely clean and communication with the owners was very responsive. This house was a great home base for us to be able to explore everything the area had to offer.

My family and I had a wonderful stay at the Hideaway (6 adult, one child, and one dog). The house was very inviting and we enjoyed all the amenities. The power went out a couple of times due to the weather, and Courtney was on top of it! She reached out each time to inform us that she contacted the power company, and power was restored each time. Great location to get away from the hustle and bustle! :)

The location was great, close to the lake and other events.
The home itself was exactly what we were looking for in space, amenities and comfort.
Only having two bathrooms was somewhat of an inconvenience, but we made it work with minimal effort.
Really liked this house and would definitely stay again.

We absolutely loved our stay in The Hideaway! Our adult children joined us, one with their partner, and there was just the right amount of space to either all be together, or do our own thing! The Game Room was a huge hit, as was the hot tub. We loved having the resort and activities available, although we spent most of our time just hanging out there! Courtney was a fabulous host and we are already eager to return! We didn't have nearly enough time! Thanks for a fantastic getaway!

Overall, just a really great property. It is huge with lots of space to lounge, sit and just be with friends and family. The outdoor spaces are truly spectacular and gives the property charm. The hot tub is a plus, and the game room is fun for everyone. The kitchen has everything you need, and again, storage and space for days. The owners were easy to communicate with and responded quickly with any questions.

This home was beautiful, stocked with everything you could need on a mini vacation and the amenities were great! It is the perfect place for family and or friends to gather. The beds were so comfortable and the furnishings so cozy and we loved spending time in the hot tub and around the fire pit, truly a relaxing atmosphere. There is a great game room with all sorts of activities. I don’t really think you could ask for anything more in a rental. The host was very communicative and very welcoming. We would definitely stay here again.

My family loved this property! It was gorgeous and felt very welcoming and elegant. The rooms were beautiful. We went with our 1.5 year old, and it still felt like a great and relaxing vacation! Their kids room was great and the pack-n-play was very easy to put together. The drives to different hiking trails and wineries were very reasonable. We definitely want to go back again!
