Our entire family celebrated our 50th wedding anniversary at this beautiful property. The house is awesome, with a very spacious kitchen and living area, extremely clean, and a beautiful view of the lake from the back deck. The pathway to the boat house is a little steep and takes a few minutes to get there, just as described, but very doable. Fishing from the dock was fun for the guys. Katie was very easy to contact and very gracious in answering any question I had quickly. I highly recommend this rental!

Beautiful house, secluded area, fabulous view. The property was clean, well maintained and the area was very quiet. We're a middle-aged couple that wanted a quiet week with a lake view and we got it! The beds were comfortable. The large kitchen was well equipped. We loved the deck but it was simply too hot the week we were there to enjoy it much. Overall, a great property.

Wow! Great view great home. If you plan to cook put on your track shoes…the kitchen is huge. Family loved it.

The house was great with a beautiful view. But to be honest I am very very disappointed with the dock and land. The you tube video is misleading and need to be updated. My family and I make a family vacation to Toledo Bend every year to go fishing. We bought fishing license and could not even get to the dock. It was a jungle and would not even attempt to bring my grand babies down there. So we didn’t even put a fishing pole in our hands. Something I look forward to every year. Also we stayed outside most of the time and all we smelled was sewerage. Not pleasant at all. But the house itself was spacious and beautiful. I would tell people if they going to relax and just look at the view it would be ok. But if you think you going to go fishing on the dock you can forget it. You may hurt yourself getting down there. Also on the dock it had a board missing and the just laid another piece of wood on top which is not nailed down and could trip or even your foot could go through. Would not want anyone to get hurt. My son went down there to check everything out and told us it was no way it was safe to even attempt. I have to be honest for other because the you tube video of the grounds is so misleading. Thank you but I would not rent this place again.

Everything about the house was great, hot tub was nice and relaxing at night. Boat house on the water made swimming fun for the kids. My only issue was the walk down to the boathouse was a little steep in 2 places. Paving the way would be nice. If you have a 4x4 you can drive right down. Overall a great time fishing and beds were comfy at night.

The house is very nice and plenty of space! The view from the patio is stunning! The only issue was the walk to the dock was a little rough especially if you need to haul stuff down. Luckily we had a golf cart.

Our family makes an annual Easter trip to Toledo Bend. This home was by far the cleanest and most accommodating for our family. There was plenty of linens, blankets and beds to make everyone comfortable. We will surely be back for many more Easter weekends!

We enjoyed our stay at Katie's place very much. It was so peaceful and had such stunning views to wake up to every day. The house was very roomy and clean and we enjoyed making meals in the spacious kitchen, playing the board games provided by our host, and watching the stars from the jacuzzi. Beyond that it was a fun home base to explore some of the stunning national forests nearby. Would stay again.

The home was nice and spacious.We did run into a problem when we first got there and the owner made sure it was addressed.The issue did take some time to get fixed but after it was done we were able to enjoy our stay better.It was my husband birthday and he loves to fish so it was perfect for him.

Great place for a getaway - tons of space and beautiful views. Quite remote - you'll need to drive at least 20 minutes to find a restaurant - but oh so quiet. This house is on a bald eagle reserve, and we saw several bald eagles close up - really exciting!! The host was extremely receptive to our questions and concerns. One example: we did not have access to NBC, Fox, CBS (Dish had discontinued those national channels as of Dec 1) and were going to be unable to watch any football on Sunday. Told our host, and she immediately contacted Dish to order those local networks, and within 10 minutes we had 6 hours of games. We highly recommend this vacation home!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this property. The location was amazing with an unobscured, beautiful lake view. We woke up early one morning to watch the sunrise and two bald eagles flew right in front of us and landed in a pine tree on the water's edge! The ONLY reason for the 4/5 stars was due to the hot tub not working! We were looking forward to relaxing in the hot tub, but do understand things happen.

This home has a great open concept for entertaining family and friends. We enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit, dock, and bird watching. The house had everything we needed plus more.

This is a beautiful home! The owners were very nice and very responsive. The only issue we had was that it was not disclosed that the “kid bunks” were in the garage and there is a door that leads to outside. It’s not safe for kids. Teens and older would be fine. Our family that slept in there were not pleased to be out in the garage and they said the beds were VERY uncomfortable. The rest of the home is nice.

I stayed with 4 of my sisters. We were unable to get to the dock. Katie was wonderful about answering messages.

My whole family enjoyed this beautiful home with a million dollar lakefront view. When weather was raining we enjoyed the beautiful rooms inside. When it was nice we sat out and enjoyed the fantastic view. Always can fish or enjoy boating activities also. The owner will get back with you quickly on any questions. Will definitely visit again.

My family had a wonderful weekend in this home. The home is very spacious, clean, and comfortable. You will not be disappointed here! The beds are comfortable. There's plenty of seating in the living room area to recline, & relax. Anyone would love the large kitchen. There's extra kitchen ware if you need it. The deck and the view of the lake are amazing! The host has indoor and outdoor games. There is fire pit on the deck where we roasted marshmallows the first night. We fished from the dock. Caught perch, catfish, bass, even a turtle lol! I think anyone looking to go here would have a good time. The host is friendly and responds quickly with any questions you may have! Thanks again for sharing your home with us!

My friends and I stayed here over spring break. The house was beautiful and had plenty of space for the 9 of us. Other than the small trek down to the lake we all had a lot of fun swimming and fishing. The owners were also great at communicating and would respond very quickly. Very nice people. Overall the stay was fun and well worth it.
