Easy reach of the harbour with a lovely deli. The bed was comfortable and the bedroom a generous size.

Although the property is advertised as dog friendly the folder that we were advised to look through had so many ‘rules’ about what you could or couldn’t do it actually made the stay an anxious one. Discovering that black dogs were not permitted because of the pale blue sofa was a surprise! The toilet was so tiny it was claustrophobic. I am not particularly tall but had to bend a little and make sure my head was in the right place before I could wash my hair using the shower, the silicone seal around the bath top needs attention. The sitting room was full of character but not bright as advertised. The space to the rear of the property was a shared alleyway that was not very appealing, you certainly wouldn’t want to sit out there and look at a wall.

Parking was dog eat dog but it’s Cornwall, Shower/bathroom and stairs being over 6ft tall did not help some parts of the place could do with some TLC but l am in the building trade and can be fussy

I would not recommend this cottage for (older?) people who need to go (often?) to the loo in the night. You have to walk down two flights of narrow stairs from the bedroom to the basement kitchen/bathroom. In all other respects it is a good place to stay.

Great location and a perfect size for two people. The character of the cottage is perfectly suited to the town. Host was amazing, incredibly helpful and supportive. We stayed in the property for our wedding and couldn’t have wished for a more amazing place. Thanks.

The cottage was lovely with lots of quirky features. The bedroom was beautiful and the bed was very comfy. Was lovely sitting eating in the kitchen, very cosy. Over all was very good value for money.

The ceilings are low in the shower, bit of a problem if you are over 6 foot tall. Toilet very small and no sink for washing hands. Would have liked a tv in the bedroom but this is just personal preference.

Well stocked kitchen cooking materials and good oven/stovetop. Conveniently located to centre of town.

Stairs treacherous for anyone with mobility issues but safe enough if taken carefully and slowly.

On a chilly weekend, the heating was not adequate especially the basement where the toilet & bathroom was. Stairs can be tricky as the cottage is on 3 floors. Couldn't get the TV to work.
