Excellent location on the edge of the town centre, but only a few minutes from shops and restaurants. Very quiet. Nice restaurant with terrace next to a river. Ideal base for a few days to explore this interesting town with its excellent art gallery, Handel Museum and so fine churches.

We were told we could not borrow a kettle to make hot drinks in our room.

The hotel looks nice and the design interesting.

My only complain is the bed and pillows. The pillow was yellow and with a strong smell to sweating...

Parking at hotel (if it is full, there is a big paid parking next to the hotel). Very friendly staff. Authentic fachwerk atmosphere in rooms at top floor.

Breakfast has moderate choice (not a problem for me as I typicaly just need a coffee). WiFi coverage is spotty (was good near bed but dissapearing poor at desk).

I booked for my Business Partner and asked them to charge my credit card here via Booking.com. It was impossible and my Guest had to pay the Hotel himself there. Very bad service and not even a try to solve the problem.

Handicap room for my 81 year old mother was big and nice. Safety due to covid19 was good!

Food in restaurant was not very good.
