This is a great property. Exceptionally clean, luxurious furnished B&B. Friendly staff & convenient downstairs Pub.

I could not check in at this hotel even after I booked because check in employee was not available when I arrived there at 11:00 pm.

The good bits: This bed and breakfast is perfectly located for the 1000 island playhouse, and for cruises. We stayed 3 nights in the suite. It was handy to have a kettle, coffee maker and mini fridge. The bathroom was nice. The bed was comfortable. The not-so-good bits: The A/C unit in the bedroom was very loud and we had to turn it off at night. Despite filling in the food allergy question when we checked in, breakfast was a bit of a disaster. If you have allergies, take your own food. The suite always seemed to smell of fish for some reason. We were there for 3 nights and had no fresh towels. We were given one towel each. Our kitchenette garbage wasn’t emptied during our visit. There was no room cleaning at all.

Everything was perfect. The room is really nice. We had a nice dinner and breakfast as well.

The property doesn’t have parking of it’s own. Had to search for parking spot on the street each time we go out and come back. Sometimes had to park in next street and walk half a km. The wooden floorings were noisy and the fire alarm started beeping due to low battery. Staff were courteous and welcoming. Water bottles were provided when asked. The food smell from pub filled the airbnb and wouldn’t leave soon. Overall stay was good, but could have been much much better.

Very nice property. Very clean and quiet. We had the loft room which was very unique as the ceiling had quite a few angles - bumped my head a few times😁. Would.have given 5 stars except for parking, or rather lack thereof. Spent a half hour trying to find on street parking intially. Quite frustrating actually . The parking situation in Gananoque in general is quite bad actually. Too bad, its a lovely little town.

Great check-in. Host was very friendly and personable. Our loft room has a sitting area with a view of the river. B & B is a one-minute walk from City Cruise site.

We had the loft room, not easy to get suitcase up. It was extremely hot on the room, there were 2 AC units which could not cool the room. There we may height restrictions around the room ( a male could not stand up to go to the bathroom) he is 5.8. Basic amenities for a price that should have had more. Breakfast was Great

Staff was very friendly. Room was comfortable Parking was a bit challenging as it was on a sidestreet That was quite full.

Beautiful old but exceptionally well maintained building and rooms, very helpful and accommodating staff. We were cycling through the area and they made sure all our needs were met. We'll be back.

Our stay was great and the staff was great. Loved having a restaurant/bar on site. Room was a little warm even with the air conditioning running and the food smells from the restaurant come into the room, which probably can’t really be helped. Parking is a little challenging but would definitely return and recommend.

We loved the Stonewater Manor! We could not have picked a better place to stay.

Check-in: We arrived there in about 10 p.m., which is kind of late. At first place, we could't find the right place to get inside because the main door seemed closed at that time. We finally got in from the pub next to it. Beautiful Carly reached us. She introduced us warmly and nicely for eveything we need to know about the stay, including where to park our car. We feel very welcomed. The Room: We stayed at room Alof. We love it so much. It is so quiet and comfortable. The decoration of the room has its unique taste. The furniture is also beautiful and of high quality. There is a sitting space that can overview the lake. We find our inner peace there looking at the wonderful scenery while enjoying our breakfast. The bathtub is very big, available for 2 people bathing together, and clean and decorated with cute Succulent plants. The breakfast: We enjoyed our breakfast in the room. It was so good and so delicious. We love the Croissant so much. We also met Carly's father in the morning. He is so friendly. He recommended us to visit Fort Henry where we can overview the main area of Kingston, which turns out is a great place to go.

Outstanding place. I have stayed in places twice as expensive that do not even come close to overall enjoyment of this little property. Spacious rooms, clean as whistle, all amenities that a charming place like this can have, quiet, close to the water. Would come back anytime.

10Jun2024. This B&B was quaint and appropriately decorated. The pub next door was charming, enjoyed our meal of fish & chips. I personally had balance issues with the uneven floors in this hundred year old building and the stairs up to the bedroom were narrow and difficult to manage with our luggage. If you’re spry it may be ok. Found it a bit overpriced compared to other B&Bs we’ve stayed at. I prefer a hot breakfast, better yet a Full English , so the continental treats left outside our door whilst tasty, didn’t hit home . Try viewing the Four in a Bed TV shows on YouTube and you can understand the comparatives. The staff appears new and needed a lot of patience when we were checking out and paying. The location is beautiful..

Excellent location for exploring Gananoque . Very good service. We enjoyed the entertainment at the pub. Unique inn but our Loft room was a bit tired and could use updating. Very roomy though. Quite warm as it’s on the 3rd floor ( there are room ACs but still felt quite warm) . Excellent breakfast.

The rooms were beautiful. Better than the pictures. The only con is parking. It has a check mark for parking. It is free. However you will have to hike to the location- especially around 3 for check in. The playhouse and all of the restaurants make parking minimal. That being said it was the only con to my stay.

Lighting in room poor, difficult to read in bed. Also fan to keep room cool was very noisy, kept me awake all night. Towel available after shower should be larger and handrail near tub should be installed

Terrific! Would definitely stay here again! One note- bathroom toilet is slow to fill.

The property as a whole was beautiful inside, nicely decorated and very clean. The bed was super comfy and the view from the dormer window looking out on to the water was a nice surprise.
