The owners were very accessible via Whats App .They responded quickly to any calls and responded quickly to any requests. Their property manager was also close by and responded quickly the two times we requested assistance. The location is close to the beach, some hiking which the owners provided some recommendations for and also close by car to Lagos. We had a very enjoyable stay here. The only comment we would make is that in late September be prepared for both the pool temperature and the ocean temperature to be on the cool side.

Great family villa in a perfect location to explore the Algarve. The pictures don't do the Villa justice from a size perspective. It's bigger and better laid out than I expected! Only 15 mins walk to some lovely restaurants etc Luz even with little children. Pool area is lovely and remarkably private. All in all great value villa in a decent spot.

Well equipped and good location

We have been going to Luz for many years and this villa is perfect as a base. You can walk to Luz beach & restaurants or easily access Burgau, Lagos and the amazing west coast by car. Villa very clean and well maintained - we had a couple of minor issues during week which were dealt with very quickly. Lovely to come back to swim in pool after day on beach. Because villa is detached there was sun on the garden and pool well into the evening. Thoroughly recommended.

We spent a great time at Luz. The house was even better than our expectations. Everything was clean and confortable. The best was the porch and the swimming pool, our kids enjoyed a lot playing around

Very well presented villa with a great view, spacious throughout and very comfortable. We had a very relaxing time, pool a good size, sun and shade through the day. The town has two good supermarkets with everything you’d need. Quiet location perfect for a relaxing break, but only 5 mins walk from the town. Would recommend a visit, easy to find and very helpful owners with recommendations for local restaurants and things to do.

We spent 5 days with my familiy and the house was very fine: It is clean, complete, with all needed accesories and the garden and swiming pool was wonderful!. The children liked it and we had beautiful days there with an spectacular view of the sea!! We will recomend it for sure!.

Thank you for a great 2 week stay in your house in Praia da Luz. The house is in great "shape" and it was perfect for us as a family (2 adults and 2 children). We enjoyed both the local town and the surroundings. We enjoyed especial daytrips by car visiting several great beaches west of Praia da Luz. We arrived and received lovely support from Clara who looks after the property. Aside from the toaster which could be improved our stay was fantastic. The accommodation is excellent and our girls who are 3 and 5 loved the pool. They were in it all day. Kitchen and living areas is spacious with 3 bathrooms it really is an great accommodation. The main photo is very representative of the property. The beach is a 10 minute walk down the hill and 20 minute walk back up it. The beach in Luz is great. However we actually preferred the beach bergau which was a 5-10 min drive or 1 hour coastal walk with fantastic views. I thoroughly recommend this villa to stay. We had a great time.

We stayed here with our two children (6 & 8) and my parents, who are in their 70s. The owner was very helpful in advance of our booking, answering our questions promptly and fully eg about transfers etc. On arrival, the villa was in a very clean and tidy condition and matched the description on the website. There were a couple of minor things which needed attention, but the housekeeper, who lived nearby, was very responsive and helpful in sorting those out immediately. The villa itself is in an attractive residential area and has a nice pool (although a bit cold at the time of year we visited), garden, and views over the sea. It is about 10-15 mins walk downhill to the beach but obviously an uphill return, so worth bearing in mind with small children or older relatives. The accommodation is spacious and comfortable, plenty of room for 6 people, towels and bed linen were changed regularly. The maid service was excellent and very discreet, certainly some of the best we have experienced in holiday rentals. What could be improved? The welcome information pack could have had a bit more detail about bus times, where to eat etc and a map of the town. It would also have been nice to have had a visitors book so people can write comments and tips about where to go. Praia da Luz is quite a small resort but we had a very bad meal on the first evening and would have liked a bit more information about where to eat etc or a map of the town. After the first few days of chatting to other visitors we had got some good recommendations. Restaurants we found good were Chicca's, Fabrica (I think) on Beach Road. Jazz Lunch at Fortaleza da Luz is nice and a bit different. Corso Pizzeria in Burgau is good. In Lagos we enjoyed 2 Irmaos Restaurant. You can catch the bus to Burgau and walk back along the coast to Luz. The car rental place in Luz was helpful. Grotto cruise with Bom Dia in Lagos was lovely. Overall we had a wonderful and relaxing holiday, and would recommend this property.

Prestation parfaitement conforme à l'annonce. Maison spacieuse, fonctionnelle, très bien entretenue, bien située et très agréable. Piscine, jardin et vue mer sensationnels. Personnel (ménage, jardin, piscine) discret et efficace. Lieu calme, reposant, idéal en famille. Seulement 10 mn de Lagos en voiture. Propriétaires charmants.

Nous avons passé une semaine de rêve dans une maison magnifique à Praia da Luz. L'endroit est exceptionnel, autant pour le soleil, le repos, la lecture, la plage, la piscine et les excursions. Tout est à proximité. La maison est très bien entretenue, elle est pratique. Les femmes de ménage passent régulièrement, ce qui est très agréable. Les propriétaires sont charmants ! Le jardin et la piscine sont très soignés et régulièrement nettoyés. Nous avons également pu profiter du tennis qui se trouve derrière le fond du jardin; la dame qui le loue est très sympa également ! Etions très tristes de devoir quitter l'endroit, car nous y étions vraiment très bien... Garderons de la maison et de Praia da Luz un excellent souvenir !

Wir hatten glücklicherweise schönes Wetter (April) und haben einen sehr entspannenden Urlaub verbracht. - Toller Garten mit Pool, wird regelmässig gepflegt - Schöner Strand, zu Fuss erreichbar - Geschmackvolle Einrichtung - Viele Ausflugsmöglichkeiten - Kinderstuhl / Kinderbett erhältlich Hinweis: Gewürze, Öl, Spüllappen etc.selbst organisieren.

I have recently returned from a lovely 10 day break. The photo's don't do the property justice, it's a really good size villa in a lovely area of Luz. Very modern, with all mod cons, plenty of bathrooms and the pool/garden is a good size too. One thing I'd mention at this time of year (late Sept) is that the pool is very cold although it didn't stop my 3 yr old from being in it each day for an hour! The centre is approx 10min walk down hill which has a beautiful sandy beach, great for families. There are a good selection of restaurants which cater for children and really look after them too. I would definitely recommend Chaplins. Lagos is about 15mins away by car which is a good place to visit, with a lovely marina and again plenty of restaurants. If you're into relaxing and doing nothing, this would be ideal. However, if you like to get about then I would definitely hire a car and there is a space outside the villa. I wouldn't recommend this area for the infirm with it being very hilly. I would definitely return to Luz and stay again at this villa.

Stayed at Villa with another family, two young children and a teenager. Villa was spotless, spacious, comfortable and well looked after. Swimming Pool was great and plenty of space to laze on the patio or lawn. All of Praia da Luz within walking distance albeit up a steep hill and two supermarkets close by. If you want fresh meat for the BBQ i would recommend the butchers in the Baptista. Fantastic choice at a great price. Other venues worth a visit are the restaurant on the main beach with swings. The fortress with fabulous views and the chinese restaurant. The locals all recommended the Dolphin!! There are several Water parks however we visisted slide and splash and would highly recommend as being the best. Splash park for yound children was ideal for our 3 and 4 year olds. All in all Praia da luz is a lovely town and far removed from the tackiness of many mediteranean resorts. Definately worth a visit.

We were a group of friends looking for some late summer sun and surf in a good location, which we definitely got. The villa was great, well equipped and placed for the beach as well as the surf locations. I would recommend hiring a car for this particular location. The maid service was good and unobtrusive, all arrangements for our stay and and any queries were dealt with quickly and smoothly. We'd definitely recommend this villa for groups and families alike.

Wonderful house, perfect location ... Great place to spend holidays with family. House very clean and cozy, perfect for recharging batteries. Certainly I'll be back again to spend another week (or more). Thank you.
