Fantastic first ski holiday chalet very nice warm and comfortable with everything that you would need ...host were very good and fixed the oven issue as soon as they could.
Will definitely be returning next year and recommend the place to friends and family

Challet is good for a family ski trip. Overall good condition. Everything worked and was along the expectations.
Location - having a car is recomended - challet is between two ski gondolas (both more than 1km away). Although there is a ski-bus, we did not visit during high-season and buses did not go as frequently as desired (no buses after 5pm). Samoens or Morillon are the closest areas for groceries, restaurants, etc and both are 1,5-2 km walk - hence logistics can be a challenge.

A Wonderful Stay
We are just back from a wonderful two-week vacation in this beautiful chalet. Coming from a more urban setting, the mountain views from the house are just stunning. Every day something new. We spent our days hiking, cycling, exploring Mont Blanc, Chamonix and Geneva and chilling by the pool. Sheer bliss.
The house itself was cozy and although it’s starting to show a bit of wear and tear, it was perfect for us. The only issue we had was with the plethora of flies that came in if you left the windows and doors open. This was quickly resolved with the help of both Sophie and Christine, who ordered two fans to be delivered a few days later which made it possible to close the doors and still stay cool.
Sophie, who checked us in, was very helpful and it was comforting to have someone to run questions by during the two weeks.The hostess, Christine, also checked in on us and was very attentive. All in all, we had a wonderful vacation here and highly recommend this accommodation!

Schönes Haus mit Pool und optimaler Lage
Das Haus ist am Fuße des Berges und bietet einen guten Startpunkt zum Wandern und Fahrrad fahren. Direkt danach lädt der Pool zum Schwimmen ein. Die Ausstattung ist insgesamt sehr gut, alles was man zum Kochen benötigt, ist in den Schränken zu finden. Einziger negativer Punkt ist vielleicht die etwas laute Holztreppe, was uns aber überhaupt nicht gestört hat.

Très beau demi chalet avec vue sur le Criou (très joli paysage de montagne ) et a proximité de la charmante petite ville de Samoens et pas très loin de l exceptionnel site du cirque de Sixt fer a cheval , a 45mn environ de Saint Gervais Les Bains donc endroit sympa pour toutes sortes de ballades ainsi que pour de nombreuses activités : parapente , rafting , canyoning ..........
Pour ce qui concerne le chalet , nous étions 12 adultes et un bébé de 10 mois , aucun soucis pour la vie en collectivité grâce a la très grande pièce de vie , une cuisine bien équipée seul petit bémol , le réfrigérateur un peu juste pour 12 en été lorsqu'il faut ranger boissons et nourriture , manque également peu être un deuxième caquelon a fondue et un deuxième four a raclette pour les familles nombreuses , de belles chambres ( sauf une un peu moins sympa car elle est annoncée aveugle mais on ne passe pas ses journées dedans ) , 3 salles de bain et toilettes , une piscine 8 mx4 m qui malheureusement pour nous a eu un problème de pompe et de chauffage juste avant notre arrivée et malgré tout le dévouement de notre sympathique hôte Sophie celle ci n a pu être remise complètement en état que le jeudi après midi ( pas facile de trouver des artisans début août ) et comme nous partions le samedi matin nous n avons pas vraiment pu en profiter surtout que la météo n était pas de notre coté pour la chauffer naturellement , c est notre seul petit regret d avoir réglé une prestation qui n était pas a la hauteur de nos attentes .
Excellent séjour malgré tout et chalet vraiment agréable .

Très beau chalet
Ce chalet est très bien situé au calme avec une vue magnifique. Il est très bien équipé pour la cuisine et très agréable. Nous avons passé un séjour à 6 personnes adultes. On pourrait facilement accueillir aussi 4 enfants en complément. Il est possible de déjeuner en terrasse au soleil. Le village est charmant et l'accueil du gérant était très chaleureux. Des vacances réussies !

Le chalet où il fait bon vivre
Nous y avons passé de superbes vacances. Le moindre petit souci était réglé par Sophie qui est d'une grande efficacité et disponible à tout moment. Le chalet est magnifique dans un cadre qui l'est tout autant.

J'espère retrouver ce chalet sur d'autres sites car pour moi Abritel et ses pratiques commerciales/financières consternantes ,c'est fini.

Havre de paix
Magnifique chalet. Liei privilégié, tranquille mais très bien connecté et très proches des stations. Le chalet est très confortable et extrêmement bien équipé. Il a tout ce qu’il faut pour cuisiner, jouer, voir des films et se détendre.
Merci pour ce séjour réconfortant dans ce contexte mondial de folie et d’inquiétude.

Nous avons passé un agréable séjour.
Nous étions 14 adultes, le chalet est bien dimensionné et propre.
Les non skieurs ont pu profiter de la navette gratuite pour se rendre en ville 😉.

Très bon séjour malgré une météo capricieuse
Chalet ou nous arrivions à 14 mais très vite les espaces de repos ont été distribués cela c’est fait très naturellement les parents au sous sol nous les grands parents à l’étage avec salon et espace de vie de pleins pieds et la jeunesse
Au dernier étage coin mezzanine pour les filles chambre pour les garçons et chambre pour notre jeune couple salle de bains à tout les étages !! un salon au niveau des canapés un peu juste pour 14. Mais nous y avons passé un super séjour ou Sophie notre concierge a été fort disponible avec son sourire et son efficacité !!!!Elle nous a donné les premiers repairs pour notre sejour nous avons super apprécié les biches a proximité de nôtre chalet le soir?????

Sophie was great. Met us (early) at the property , showed us everything in great detail and offered to be available 24/7 for any questions. Her English is much better than she thinks and she is very well connected in the area.
It’s a super-quiet location, 5 mins drive from Samoëns. Not an easy walk but easy on a bike. Our kids loved the pool. The property feels like a well loved family home. It has everything you need, the beds are comfortable, the views are great and the neighbours are quiet. There were only 4 of us so we were spoiled for space.
We went parapenting, rafting, mountain biking, hiking, walking , swam in the lake and went horse riding - all of which were excellent. Although the horse ride was a slow procession. Sophie has lots of suggestions. We were sorry to leave and miss the mountains.

Das eignet sich hervorragend für einen Aufenthalt einer großen Gruppe! Ein tolles Tal das sehr viel Abwechslung bietet und ein Haus das sich optisch schön in die Szenerie einfügt! Die Küche war hervorragend ausgestattet, der Außengrill wurde wie auch der Pool reichlich genutzt. Die Räume sind etwas hellhörig, dafür haben wir von den Nachbarn nichts gehört.
Eine schöne Woche die nach Wiederholung schreit...

Excellent séjour
Très beau chalet, équipement très complet, les enfants ont adoré la piscine. On a beaucoup apprécié l'exposition avec les dîners au soleil couchant, le barbecue allié à la très bonne boucherie de Morillon, l'espace intérieur où tout le monde trouve sa place. Literie parfaite, prises multiples partout, vraiment tout bien. Sophie et son mari extrêmement serviables.

Cadre chaleureux. Equipement complet. Très bon accueil. Situation idéale entre Samoëns et Morillon. Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Une semaine en avril, encore beaucoup de neige et personne sur les pistes, un vrai bonheur.

There was plenty of hot water for post skiing showers. Very nice chalet, would come again. We had cars so didn’t need the ski bus. It does come quite close although they are not super frequent, so you would need to keep an eye on the time. By car it’s 5 minutes to any of the 3 local lifts. The Village itself is quite low so we experienced some rain in March, we came in February too (to another accommodation) when it mostly snowed in the village. The large carrefour supermarket is 10 minutes by car and has everything. Morillon is walkable in the evening (20-30 mins).

Nous avons passé un très beau séjour dans ce magnifique chalet ; merci pour ce bel accueil et pour vos conseils avant et pendant le séjour. Nous étions 6 adultes et 7 enfants, chacun a trouvé sa place. Merci pour tous les livres mis à disposition, les jeux de société, revues,... Les skieurs ont apprécié le domaine, les marcheurs ont apprécié les belles balades dans une douceur déjà bien printanière ! Il faudrait pouvoir venir 2 semaines, l'une pour profiter du ski et des balades, l'autre pour profiter de ce magnifique chalet ! Annick

Generally a really nice place to stay. Roomy, good size bedrooms and well appointed. Plenty of parking and well positioned between Samoens and Morrillon. Owners need to sort out the lack of hot water for a big chalet when everyone wants to shower and the wifi is hit and miss.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce chalet bien conçu pour une grande famille et proche du joli et vivant village de Samoëns. Piscine extra. Literie et propreté au top! Accueil très chaleureux. Une très bonne adresse en montagne...

Encore une fois un séjour enchanteur de 2 semaines dans ce chalet au coeur du massif
Cette année nous avons profité à nouveau d'un séjour de 2 semaines dans ce chalet, confortable, bien équipé et parfait pour héberger une famille nombreuse, en plein cœur du massif, à proximité immédiate des départs des remontées mécaniques, parmi lesquelles Morillon accessible à pied. Concierge efficace et sympathique. La saison ne nous a pas permis d'apprécier la piscine, mais ce n'est probablement pas notre dernier séjour dans le chalet Marvel !!

Fantastic, well-equipped chalet
We spent two weeks in this chalet and we were at most 7 adults and 7 children and there was plenty of room for everyone.
The house is fantastic - very spacious with 3 bathrooms, well equipped kitchen and very nice dining/lounge area that easily fits even the largest of companies.
Both owners and concierge were excellent in terms of communication, service and flexibility whenever we needed assistance.
I would absolutely recommend this chalet to anyone. The only thing that is worth noting is that having a car makes everything from getting to the ski lifts to grocery shopping a lot easier since the house is located in between Morillon and Samoëns. There is a free ski shuttle, but compared to other ski resorts it is not as frequent - and as we noticed, the bus drivers don't always stop.

The chalet was clean with hot showers and all the amenities you could need for a week. The chalet is in a quiet but beautiful location and is only a very short drive to both morillon and samoens for shops, bars, restaurants and ski lifts.

The chalet was clean with hot showers and all the amenities you could need for a week. The chalet is in a quiet but beautiful location and is only a very short drive to both morillon and samoens for shops, bars, restaurants and ski lifts.
My children have already asked if they can stay again! Thank you for a great week.

Phenomenal stay--it was snowy and beautiful, Grand Massif is a perfect area just outside of Samoëns, a charmingly authentic village near Geneva, Switzerland. The chalet is perfectly located by the ski lifts, but is also roomy and comfortable (great for if we wanted to relax as a group). It was wonderful to find a space that was clean, well furnished, and beautifully decorated; plus, it was big enough to comfortably accommodate our group of 10. Christine and Alain were very welcoming and thoughtful, and they made sure that we had all the necessary amenities for our stay there. Everything was absolutely wonderful, and we look forward to returning the next time we are in the area. If you get a chance to stay here, I would take it--it was affordable and homey, and we are all really excited about coming back!
