This was our 2nd Christmas vacation at this property. We love how there’s a youth bed in almost every bedroom - perfect for our kids who all have small families of their own. The open kitchen/living/dining room allows great interactions before, during, and after meal time. The kitchen has just about everything you can imagine for food preparation. We initially had a problem with the water heater, but Olga was great and send a repairman (her hubby) the very next day and it worked perfectly ever since. We really want to continue staying at Olga’s house, but growing families (more grandkids) might complicate this dream.

Overall, we enjoyed our stay. Olga, the host was very responsive and quick when we had issues. The previous renters apparently left a mess so we had a late check in which was frustrating with ancy kids. I'd rather have a clean house though! There was lots of space and bedrooms to choose from. The beds are very hard which is a pro for some, con for others so if you like a softer bed bring an egg crate. Hot tub was dirty when we arrived, so Olga being quick on her feet sent a property manager to take care of it. He was condescending though claiming we ate in that room even though none of us had even gone in. Then he pulled out a filthy filter and took back his words but it was frustrating that we were being blamed by him. He drained and cleaned it and we moved on. Lake out back was great for fishing and a big hit for the kids with the paddle boat. My biggest frustration was the amenities of Emerald Lakes. Half of it was closed or had off hours. They even closed the outdoor pool one day due to "being cloudy". Parts of the playgrounds were roped off needing to be fixed. I asked if they had any service like an app that could notify renters of closings so we didn't show up with excited kids but no. We had bad weather the whole week, which nothing you can do about it, but made the best of it. Overall, I wouldn't rent here again not because of the house but because of the association so if you don't care about the pools/playgrounds then you would probably enjoy this place.

Place was great but could not swim in lake

What a wonderful stay. You will not find a more helpful, gracious, and responsive host than Olga. The house was perfect for our group: 14 people, with 9 kids ages 2 - 12. Lots of fishing off the dock, playing on the play structure, enjoying games in the basement, and meals all together. More than enough space for our entire group. We did buy the day passes and it was well worth it. The two beaches were perfect for all the people and our water toys. It truly is a wonderful home and location. Cannot wait to return and considering even a winter stay.

Great house for a multi-family stay and a nice break from the typical beach house. The house was great, as was the lake and community amenities. Olga was always willing to answer questions and provide information. We all loved the property, which provided plenty of space for everyone.

the house was great for our family - 7 adults and 5 kids between two and six. the kids loved fishing off the dock and riding in the paddle boat and canoe on the little pond. there was a lot of space for everyone. the large dining table was terrific - we could all sit down to eat together. the foozeball, pool, and air hockey tables were a big hit. and the playset was put to good use. the deck was nice (though a few more umbrellas for when it was was sunny would have added to its enjoyment). the kitchen was very well stocked (except you should bring your own food storage containers for leftovers). the beds were comfortable and the bedrooms large (though the basement bedroom was a little musty). the house was not quite as fresh as some might like - bathrooms, kitchen counters, walls, towels - though really wasn't a problem (but I would bring some pillow covers - while the pillow cases were clean, the pillows had stains). also make sure you understand that the lakes in the community (as well as the pools) are off limits to renters unless you're willing to pay the $20 per person fee, which becomes prohibitive for large groups. there are lakes in state parks that are quite nice, but they're about a half hour or more drive away. there's a great free playground about a 15 minute drive away. all in all, the house really worked well for us!

Olga's house was perfect for our family of 10. The kids (ages 5-12) loved the lake and boats. There was lots of room for all of us to be comfortable and Olga was extremely responsive with any questions we had.

The place was so clean, the amenities aplenty, the house was huge, and Olga was very helpful and responsive. Signs around the house very helpful. More bedrooms than we expected based on the description and photos. One queen in the basement along with a game room - pool table, foosball, air hockey, and poker table. Main floor has another queen room, small single room, and 1.5 baths. The indoor hot tub and sauna were awesome. Main floor also has a nice kitchen, comfy couch (feel between the seats, they all have levers to recline), and big table. Top floor has two bathrooms, 3 queen rooms, and another large bedroom with 2 queen beds that can be separated by pocket doors, and a single bed that can be closed off from the other beds. Lots of options! Backyard has a swing set which our kids loved, access to the pond and boats was amazing too. Good fire pit. Access to the community center was a plus too. I would recommend this house for large families.

Everything in the house was generally as it was described in the listing, but it felt a bit dated and in need of some repairs (dishwasher took a few tries to get working right, some broken electrical outlets, stuff like that). Also, only 1 roll of toilet paper per bathroom provided, very little dishwashing detergent, and no paper towels. None of this was a deal-breaker, just felt like the kind of things that would be included in a house at this price point. Otherwise, the hot tub and sauna were nice, the view from the back was lovely, and there was more than enough rooms for all of us.

This house is amazingly equipped for a large family with many children. The kitchen is large, well equipped, and open to an incredible dining room that can seat at least 18 people comfortably. There’s a second small refrigerator that proved to be very helpful for our larger group and food storage requirements. The dining room opens up to a large living/family room with comfortable couches. The pics of the first floor kitchen/dining/living area don’t really convey how spacious and friendly this critical hang-out space really is! The bedding is newer and not saggy, there’s a youth bed in almost all of the private bedrooms, and there’s even a crib in the largest (master) bedroom for a very young guest. For couples without young childeren, the youth beds do a great job of holding your clothing luggage. The games in the basement game room (a smaller pool table, air hockey, and foosball) are very suitable for younger kids and teenagers in a group and there’s a card table that can keep the adults entertained. The “indoor” hot tub (seats five) and sauna are very nice amenities, especially if you happen to need to relax sore muscles after a day on the many local slopes. The well-equipped house is a little older, but that’s an extra special blessing if you do have young kids who might accidentally bump into a wall or slam a door. Since we stayed here in the dead of winter, we didn’t get to enjoy any of the outdoor features that look very welcoming - like the deck, play set, dock, and boating on the good-sized lake. I hope to be able to check that off my bucket list sometime in the future! Steve Lenko

Went with 3 total families. Yard was perfect for kids and the house had more than enough room for 12 people. Olga was great to work with and answered messages quickly. In the indoor hot tub was a huge bonus!

Olga's property was an amazing choice for our small family reunion. The house was spacious and perfect for our needs. There was plenty of space for everyone to be comfortable, and it had all of the amenities to keep everyone happy and busy. The 11 kids managed to keep themselves entertained between the game room, the TV's, the hot tub, the boats, the large lawn, and the fire pit (obviously with adult supervision). Happy children helped the adults kick back and relax which was a major plus. The house was clean, and all basic necessities were provided. The one thing that was lacking was enough towels. We were many people, and between the hot tub, showering, and the lake, 1 towel per person made things pretty tight. Fortunately, the onsight washer and dryer made it more manageable. Olga was a pleasure to communicate with, and very helpful. We would strongly recommend this property, and we would happily rent it again! Thank you Olga!

First off, Olga was the greatest host anyone can ask for. Answered all questions and spoke to us like old friends. Second, the house was huge!!!! Plenty of space for everyone and extremely clean. House had plenty of space for my whole family. Lots to do at the house. The paddle boat, hot tub and play room were a great plus. There were twelve of us and we could all sit at the dining table. If you're planning on doing a lot of cooking I would suggest picking up a couple of lidded storage containers at a dollar store. Olga was very quick to reply to my questions.

This was a first time trip to the Poconos with our family and this home was a perfect choice! There was 8 of us in total and the home was more than enough to spread out comfortably. It exceeded our expectations with a home like setting, exceptionally spacious and clean. The amenities included everything we needed. The location was easy to find, so peaceful and tranquil right on the water. My son spent the 3 days we were there in his glory by fishing from morning to night. We enjoyed the hot tub/ sauna, the pool table, the outdoor space, the grills and more. The Walmart and other stores were within a 5-10 minute ride, great location. I would definitely recommend this to anyone whose looking to travel with a large family, awesome!

Wonderful experience for the whole family. Perfect weather, which made everything all the better. Love the long table in the kitchen so that we could all really share the meals. Backyard with the swings, firepit, dock, etc was great. Basketball out front too. We had a blast!

It was a pleasure communicating with Olga. Whenever I had a question, she would respond instantly. The location is wonderful and was better than expected. There's everything you need and more. The game room came with an air hockey and foosball table. My family was very happy with their stay. We would stay here again to experience it during the winter or the summer. Thank you Olga!

The house is great and can accommodate a lot of guests. There are many amenities to be enjoyed for people of all ages. The lake and view are amazing.

Really really really we enjoyed the time in this house, is the second time in the house and now is better. Back yard is amazing, inside very clean and big. We are so happy to spend time in this house. Olga was an excelent comunication. We are back next year for sure.

Everything was great. Friendly home with everything you need in a getaway. My only grievance is that some areas in the backyard smells like gas all the time.

The house was exactly as advertised, if not better in person. Lots of space for our large group. The house was stocked with all the amenities we needed. It was very clean and organized. I would definitely recommend this place to others.

Olga was wonderful. The home is fantastic. Plenty of room for 7 couples. Too much to list. Very satisfied.
