Everything was as described. The hostess was really detailed with the information that was given about the apartment and how to get there, made arriving there really simple. She even had a binder with some restaurant suggestions and some info about markets & thing's to do. Apartment itself had a nice view and really great surrounding.

We only had a short break but the apartment was lovely & clean and in an ideal location for local bars & restaurants and only a short walk to the beautiful beach.

Place is a great location, many restaurants and bars around. The apartment worked well for our needs. Beautiful view, beach facing, perfect to watch the sunrise. Our family with a toddler has enjoyed a lot and would have no hesitation to recommend and stay in this place again.

We had a great stay in the zen apartment and loved every minute. The apartment is fantastic with great views out over the ocean and along the coast. it's a 2 minute walk to the bus stop where you can get a bus up and down the coast. we are looking forward to staying in this palce again when we visit the area again.

We felt a bit hoodwinked by the ZenBeach title. We were underwhelmed by the appearance of the unit. It was like going to a Canadian cottage. BUT, the restaurants nearby were amazing - Dempsey Irish, Da Vinci's, Lemongrass Thai, Papaya Loca were all very tasty and had great staff who were engaging!! Nolan, our host, did our bus station pick up and provided us with tons of tourist options for activities. He is great. The walk to the beach over the highway and left down the road was manageable and the many kms of super boardwalks and beach access and places to grab a snack and a drink were delightful. So, you pay for the safe, secure lodging and you head to the water. Enough said. We loved the area. Thank you for having us at ZenBeach.

We had a great week in the zenplaces’s sunny apartment. The views from the lovely terrace were amazing. Olga was a great host very helpful and communicative with local recommendations, and she left us a lovely welcome pack which was perfect for our late check in. The check in instructions provided to us were excellent. The apartment was within walking distance of a supermarket and there was easy access to the beach promenade.Thank you Olga

A fantastic location and Olga was so nice. She gave us lots of recommendations for places to see and restaurants to eat at. The only problem we have didn't have the time to do it all!! Walking distance to the beach and a picturesque boardwalk that spans far along the water. We would happily return when we're in Mijas next!

The hosts were excellent and did everything to make our stay enjoyable. We chose to be picked up at the airport and we're glad to have done so after our lengthy travel from Australia. Property was very clean and bed comfortable. The kitchen was compact but adequate and we enjoyed dining in nearby cafes and restaurants. Public transport was at the bottom of the street-purchase card at the Tabac shop near petrol station. We had a great stay at Zen property and our hosts were even able to extend our stay at short notice. Highly recommend.

Location within footsteps of restaurants, bars, marina promenade and bus stops. Parking inside the urbanization or outside easily found. Nice shower and well stocked bathroom. Comfy beds. Communication with host efficient. 5/5

First of all Olga is a really nice host: she has decorated the flat with the Christmas atmosphere (cushions, tablecloths, garlands) that we loved, she even prepared for our stay a lovely little Christmas tree!! The apartment is perfectly located, only steps away from the beach (crossing the bridge) and the bus stop for Malaga / Marbella. Lots of lovely restaurants and supermarkets close by. The apartment itself had everything you could need, including a comfortable bed (very important for us!!) and a fully equipped kitchen for a really great stay. We would highly recommend!

We, family of 3 have stayed in this apartment for 2 weeks. Located close to beach, well equipped and well connected with transportation and grocery stores. It was also centrally located to go to Marbella, Malaga, Fuengirola. The apartment itself had good guidance available and additionally if we want to stay, excellent beach and boardwalk and swimming pool to play in. All in all excellent experience. I would go back when next opportunity comes...

We felt right at home in this lovely apartment. It was just as described and we loved the balcony and the sea view. Great restaurants on the beach within a few minutes walk of the apartment. Fresh egyptian cotton bed linen and white towels and a little gift pack of handy complimentary bathroom products. A great experience overall

I stayed for 7 days on my own ...I came for medical respite. The apartment met all my expectations; I felt very safe and comfortable and best of all, safe to drink the water. .the location was absolutely amazing, with sea views and within five minutes or so you were on the boardwalk that led to many wonderful beachside restaurants. Food wise my 2 favours were The Jammy Olive - a 10-minute walk away and El Capriccio - 5 min. away. Whilst I didn't cook in the apartment, there was a fabulous supermarket carrefour at 700 meters, along with a pharmacy.. plus many other eateries. The host Nolan kept in contact via text to make sure I was OK, and I felt reassured that had there been any problems (which there weren't), he would have helped straight away. Thank you for a fabulous stay! I feel a million dollars compared to how I arrived!

An absolutely perfect place to stay -comfortable,warm, cosy , very clean and within walking distance of where we needed to be.

We loved our stay here. The apartment is set in beautiful grounds and a refreshing pool and literally a couple of mins walk from the beach. The beach has a path for miles which was great for a morning run or walk. We loved the location which is close to lots of towns - Marbella is obviously lovely but busy and Mijas village is a real gem. We went canyoning with TUUR adventures and would recommend that for families. Comms with hosts was good and they responded to some questions promptly. I will miss waking up to the stunning views from our bedroom.

We had a great stay Olga was a great host and the apartment was exactly as described spotlessly clean and plenty of towels available and a well equipped kitchen. The apartment also had good Wi-Fi a bonus when you have teenagers and fantastic air conditioning. The apartment was close to supermarkets and shops and plenty of lovely restaurants all with in walking distance. The beach was a 5 minute walk away . Great apartment for a couple or a family would highly recommend.

Picked Olga's apartment after reading other reviews and was not disappointed. My husband and I were attending a wedding and stayed here for several nights. Lovely, clean apartment with beautiful views of sea and surroundings. Welcoming wine, beer, water, fruit and a few other bits were really appreciated, thanks Olga! One of the nights we picked up the wrong keys and got locked out and host made her way to us with spares as soon as she could - thanks so much Olga!!! Communication was excellent and Olga was great at recommending places to eat, etc. There is everything you need in the apartment; the host has thought of everything, well done! I would definitely stay again if I ever go back.

We stayed at the Zen Beach Flat for 4 days towards the end of July. Nolan and Olga were excellent hosts; even before we arrived, they provided detailed emails of the area and directions to arrive which were so helpful. Nolan was kind enough to meet us late on the first evening to give us the keys. He provides a detailed summary of the area and a really helpful manual on the area, beaches, attractions, etc. To our surprise, Olga also provided welcome treats, which were very generous. The flat was perfect for us, as we could relax in the living space, cook food when we wanted to, and chill out in the front room when the sun was out. All our expectations were met and more; it's like a little home away from home, close to supermarkets, walking distance to the beaches of Mijas, and easy access to lots of restaurants.

One of the best experiences we have had with a host. No question was to much and always quick to respond. Gave alot of tips of things to see/do. For example in Marbella, Malaga, Calahonda, … The place was perfect! ⁃ Very clean ⁃ Had everything you need ⁃ Nice and cosy interior ⁃ Perfect view of the sea ⁃ Very close to everything (sea, bars, restaurants, supermarket, busstop, …) All in all was everything just perfect! We can only recommend this zen place/ host to everyone! Thanks Nolan and Olga for this amazing vacation!

Place was exactly as described and 2 mins from beach. Walkable to restaurants. Close to Malaga airport. Great stay, very safe and secure gated community with huge pool and lifeguard. Nolan, is a great host, very responsive and has created in all encompassing document with great local recommendations for sightseeing, travel and every thing else that you need.

Olga´s apartment was perfect for 3 girls. It was spotless, with sea views and access to the beach via little pedestrian bridge a few metres away. The pool area was lovely and clean. All in all could not be faulted and very good value considering the area in Calahonda it is in. Thank you, Olga!

Amazing stay - apartment had everything we needed - even had beers and water in fridge for us on arrival! The apartment was spotless as was the large pool. Great host to communicate with and was greeted and shown into apartment. We stayed in June and all bars/restaurants were open and we got lovely weather. Higly recommended

Great little apartment, great location close to the beach, clean, everything you need ie iron, hairdryer etc. Beds were very comfortable and extra sheets and towels in abundance. Spoilt for choice as for bars, restaurants and supermarkets at hand. We will definitely be back.

A very satisfied stay which I would recommend especially for a long weekend away, reasonably priced and the host super nice constantly communicating with you to make sure your having a good stay and there is no problems.

Very nice getaway from home to home :) ….. the little apartment is cute, spotlessly clean with an incredible view. What I loved most was the perfectly maintained garden overlooking the sea amongst the palm trees with benches and a fresh breeze. Nolan’s indeed very kind, he goes out of his ways to accommodate you. Besides the late check out and the lift to the airport he got me a brand new yoga mat too :) The coastal path is really unique and perfect to enjoy every moment by the sea. A place to recommend is The Jammy Olive Cafe of the main street. They serve breakfast, lunch, cafe and awesome desserts in a healthy manner and relaxed atmosphere. Try the pecan pie ;)

A must , this place is beautiful, I can't describe how amazing the views are from the terrace. The apartment is very cozy and has everything you need. We made use of the fully equipped kitchen and outdoor seating area for breakfast with views. The host was amazing, great communication from start to finish. Excellent pdf brochure with all the essential places to visit included best restarauts and tipical Spanish foods. We would definitely stay again!!

We stayed at Olga's place for a week as we had come to Spain to work remotely and enjoy the sun and the apartment was absolutely perfect for us. The flat itself is ideal for a couple as it had everything you needed and was in a great location very close to the beach. There are plenty of supermarkets, bars, restaurants right next door and the beach and promenade were within walking distance for us. We had seen some reviews about the strength of the internet before we came, however we found the internet to be faultless. We were working remotely, so were on video calls and meetings regularly and didn't have any issue at all. The balcony and sea view was also great for remote working and was much better than our London office. Olga was very responsive before and during our stay and she was extremely helpful with a slightly earlier check-in the day we arrived. We would recommend this apartment to anyone who wants to stay in Spain .

This is a great place to book if you are looking for a relaxing time in Costa del Sol. The apartment is so cute and comfortable, and the view of the ocean was fantastic. We loved being able to walk the boardwalk on the beach in the mornings and in the evenings. Super quick walk to the grocery store and multiple restaurants. Fantastic and thoughtful hosts…there were lots of extras in the apartment, like fruit, water, and even bottle of wine. We really enjoyed our stay and we would absolutely stay here again.

Bare minimum of kitchen utensils. Living area dull and dingy with no comfortable seating. Very disappointed

We had a thoroughly enjoyable stay at Zen places's flat in Mijas. We loved the view from the terrace and enjoyed sitting out for breakfast or a late afternoon drink. The apartmen worked very well for us and was just a short walk to the everything. There is a comfortable sitting area with TV, nice bathroom and all the necessary kitchen facilities. The bedroom with great sea view was perfectly fine. I would certainly recommend this place and found it a good value option for our visit.

Olga’s place is beautiful, exactly as pictured. There were plenty of supermarkets, gas stations, and restaurants nearby some even within walking distance. The terrace was nice and sunny, the whole stay was perfect for our family of three. Parking was available right outside of our apartment. Overall we enjoyed our stay :)

My friend and I really liked our stay at Olga’s place in Mijas. We thought the location was great due to its proximity to the sea, some great restaurants by the beach and the bus stops to go to Marbella or airport. Amazing value for the money we paid - super grateful and will come again!
