This was our 4th year renting this house on the beach. We already reserved it for next summer! We look forward to this family vacation all year. Our grandchildren love the sand bar adventures daily. We spend the day in the water and on the beach. The house has a nice open first floor for family time. Plenty of space for all 12 of us. The kids love the bunk room with trundle beds! We even made friends with the neighbors over the years! Highly recommend this cottage on the beach!

Cute little house! Inside was quite comfortable, but the outside is why we booked this house. Luxuriating on the beach outside the front door was heaven!!

We have rented this property multiple times and enjoy our time there. The pictures accurately reflect the property. Love spending time on the deck, sunning on beach and fishing off the jetty.

The property is conveniently located with the best outdoor space we have had at a beach rental. Owner has done a nice job updating the house/furniture, but you will want to spend most of your time outside! The ability to lounge by the house, grill on the large webber grill, eat at one of the outside tables, or sit by the fire at night listening to the waves was exactly what we needed. We are country folks, so after visiting with our small dog, we opted to bring her home so we wouldn't have to manage her on a leash the entire time. Plenty of sleeping in the small house for our 6-person family (although we only slept there 2 times during the week). The private beach was great. We only saw a few people walking through or heading to the jetty to fish...otherwise the beach was all ours. Perfect. Property manager was very responsive to all communications.

We enjoyed our stay at Marks home. Very relaxing, loved watching all the boats going in and out of marina. We had absolutely beautiful weather. We were able to check in a little bit early as we arrived early. Mark was accommodating in getting us in. Will stay again.

We recently stayed with a group of adult friends and the location is amazing. The beach was great, beds were very comfortable and it was a wonderful time.

The experience we all had was wonderful. From the peaceful waves lapping onto the beach to the sandbar every day where my grandkids had a chance to some sea life up close that very few see. To the quiet street and awesome neighbors. Can’t wait for next year. Thanks Mark.

I've stayed at this property numerous times and always wish I booked it for longer. The owner has done some upgrades to the property (inside and outside) that make it more enjoyable each year. Mark is easy to work with, the location is key - right on the beach and close to the jetty. In addition, you have multiple options for nearby day trips and many great locale restaurants. Bummed I couldn't get a week for summer 2023... fingers crossed for summer 2024.

We had a wonderful time using this gorgeous beach house to gather family for a nearby graduation. The indoors is lively and very clean, but it was really the outdoor space that made it so special, especially in COVID times. Our group of 6 adults loved it.

Clean and quite nice

The location was the best. Walk out your door to sandy beach. Enjoyed watching the boats in and out of the marina. Overall was a pretty good stay. Weather was beautiful during our stay. I already booked for a mini vacation next year.

We loved this house for our 5 day trip to CT. The views are amazing and the house is extremely comfortable. The beds are great and there is plenty of furniture to accommodate our group of 7. The only issue we had was with the sump pump alarm malfunctioning and alarming for hours at 2am. That was really no ones fault though and just bad luck. Dave the owner was really nice to talk to. We are already booked for next year.

This was our 2nd year at the property. It is absolutely amazing. Unfortunately it is already booked for next year. Upgrades of new kitchen table/chairs, living room furniture, outdoor pergola and installation of mooring ball made the property even better!! Great family vacation. Great location. Both Mark and David were very responsive and easy to work with. I would recommend staying here-but don’t book when we want too!!

My family had a fantastic stay. We had age ranges from 1-70 years old and the house really suited everyone’s needs. You can’t beat the location to be able to walk out your door onto the sand!

Family had a great time at the beach house. Having the beach in the back yard was wonderful. Plenty of parking was also a bonus. Took the kiddos to Essex Steam train, only about 20 minutes away.

Overall we had a really nice stay for our Memorial Day weekend getaway. Unfortunately we didn’t get to do much outdoors due to the weather the whole time. A couple minor issues during our stay, but as I said it was an overall nice place to stay. Would definitely come again.

We loved our stay at the Beach Cottage! The house is cute, but the beach, deck, and view are amazing! The kids delighted the friendly neighbors by being the first ones they'd seen go in the water this year. One thing I hadn't noticed in reviews was suggestions of places to eat nearby. We picked up Haywire Burger the first night and we all loved it so much we got it again the 2nd night. It was still good, but not quite as incredible. Eating out on the deck was just perfect. We all enjoyed seeing the sailboats head out and come back for the night - one night we counted over 20 heading out all together. The 2nd night we drove the short drive to Ashley's Ice Cream in Madison. The neighbors highly recommended Bill's Seafood (site says cash only), and Land of Thai. We wish we'd planned ahead better as a few places we thought looked great were closed while we were there or closed earlier in the day (Still Delicious and EDD's).And when we realized $200+ AirPods had been left behind after we were a few towns away, Mark was really great and let us right in to find them. All our questions along the way were answered quickly and helpfully.

We were so lucky to find a property available for a few days our families were available but for it to be this property was icing on the cake! The location is perfection. Right on the beach in a great neighborhood with a beautiful backyard patio/private beach right near the jetty. The house has been updated and is gorgeous. It's spacious and fit our two families easily. It was clean, comfortable and equipped with all of the essentials. Our only complaint was that we didn't have a longer stay so we booked next year's stay as soon as we got home!
