My husband and I were visiting our daughter in Charleston. The three of us decided to stay in Isle of Palms. Words can not express how much we enjoyed our stay at the Coastal Cottage. No stone was left unturned in this beautiful, clean, quiet home, and it had everything we could possibly need or want. The view of the pond with all of its incredible birds and wildlife delighted us all. The walk to the beach was only 2 minutes. Quite frankly, we didn't want to leave.

We found the house very clean with nice furnishings and comfortable beds. Quiet neighborhood in a very well kept complex. We visited in February which made for uncrowded beaches and restaurants. We would recommend this house to anyone who wanted to stay in the area.

Visited Charleston for a girlfriend’s wedding, myself and 4 girlfriends thought the house was beautiful, beds were very comfy and loved that each room had its own bath/shower! Everything was great! Would definitely look to book again next time we visit that area!

Clean, bright and well appointed, this adorable cottage what just what we needed. A quick walk to the beach and everything you could need. Alligator spotting from the deck!

We had a wonderful time. The pool and beach were very close, within walking distance. They had beach wagon , toys for the kids to use at the beach and chairs to sit in ,at the beach. The condo was well equipped with everything we needed.

House was beautiful and well renovated. This was the best cottage we’ve stayed in through all of our years of staying at Wild Dunes.

This house was absolutely great! We did not have to buy anything extra because it was stocked up so well! Our group had the best time! Plenty of room, beautiful views, and a short walk to the beach! This was my second time staying here, and I will continue to come back.

We loved our stay at your property. This newly renovated home was very clean, updated and well maintained. I enjoyed all the benefits of the cool air conditioning on the hot days/evenings. The home was spacious and accommodated 2 families and our college aged sons and 3 bathrooms was definitely a plus. The home was a short walk to the beach and was well equipped with beach chairs/umbrella and a beach wagon. We cooked breakfast together every morning and enjoyed eating together at the large dining table inside and at the large dining table on the screened in porch. We enjoyed the salty evening breeze while sitting outside on the back deck and on the front porch swing. The kitchen was well appointed with all necessities (except for a pizza slicer). Your welcome gift was much appreciated! We had a fantastic stay and I highly recommend this home.

Six of us just spend a long weekend in Pelican Bay and had a great time. The house was very comfortable, clean, spacious and well equipped. The walk to the beach is fast and easy and we lucked out with some beautiful weather. We were in town for 2 concerts on Friday & Saturday nights and our location meant quick access to Daniel Island. I would highly recommend this house and look forward to returning next year!

We had a wonderful stay at this property. Instructions for reservations and initial access were clear with frequent confirmations. The previous guests had taken the fob that allows access to the pool, but it was quickly remedied the very next day. We had a wonderful time. Beach access is excellent. Quiet and peaceful.

Three friends of 46 year stayed for a wonderful long weekend. The house is perfect! Very clean and well stocked kitchen. Pool is steps away and beach a very quick walk. There was a beach buggy for the chairs, towels, bags which was an unexpected plus. Can’t go wrong with this rental. Check in and check out process was seamless.

Delightful. Everything was super easy...from reserving the property, to checking in, and departing. Logistically it was a breeze. From the start, the communication was excellent and we didn't have one bit of trouble. The location was quiet and relaxing on a cul-de-sac. The pool was around the corner and much closer and more private than expected. The description states that the beach is a 5 minute walk...took less than that. It was about a 10+ minute drive to all the fantastic restaurants and shops. We had bikes delivered and enjoyed the miles of bike trails. Because we were in Wild Dunes the traffic was very minimal. It was spring break so we expected much bigger crowds but never felt overwhelmed. The property was very clean and had all the amenities we needed. We especially enjoyed sitting out on the back deck in both the morning and evenings. The lagoon made for a peaceful setting--even with the visiting passive alligator. We also hung out on the cozy front porch (with swing) which was an added bonus. The bedrooms were spacious and having three full baths made it comfortable for four women. That many bathrooms would be essential with a larger group. The kitchen was a bit on the small side but very efficient and well equipped. Having two dining areas--inside and on the screened in porch--easily made up for the smaller kitchen. Good use of space. We would easily rent this property again!

Beautiful home on Isle of Palms. 3 minute walk from the beach. The property is on Wild Dunes resort which adds to a sense of privacy and security. Te beach never felt crowded or overwhelming. The house is perfect for a family to spend a beach weekend.

This cottage was perfect for a gathering of friends. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. House was well-appointed. Pretty neighborhood and easy walk to the beach. And loved the view of the lagoon while sitting on the deck.

We had a wonderful holiday vacation at Coastal Cottage in Wild Dunes. The house was a perfect location with easy beach access. It was the best house we’d ever stayed in related to chairs, wagons, beach towels etc. Steven was tremendously responsive if we had questions before and during our stay.

We truly enjoyed our stay and have wonderful memories to cherish from our visit! Perfect location for a family!

Despite a few upkeep issues (screen room door missing; dirty fingerprint marks on all doors around door knobs) home was just perfect for 3 couples who wanted to enjoy the beach and Charleston/surrounding area. Home well appointed especially the kitchen and bar tools/glassware. Had a wonderful time! Thank you!!!

The location was a great Wild Dunes location. It was close to the beach, there was a pool in the neighborhood, and it’s close to bike rentals. It was a super clean and updated beach house. We have no negatives. Would definitely stay again!

Our group of 7 girls had the most wonderful stay. The location of this house and proximity to the beach was even better than expected. The neighborhood is absolutely lovely and the decor of the home was light, bright, and relaxing. Renting a golf cart from a local company made our stay even easier. Highly recommend this house and would love to book it again in the future!

3 couples spent a long weekend at The Coastal Cottage and had a great time! We even got to see the neighborhood alligator sunning itself along the shore of the lagoon in the backyard.

Clean, nicely furnished property! Very close to beach and community pool, the location is a standout feature since both are about a 5 min walk. We stayed with adults and children (0-6) and it worked well for everyone. A bonus for our party was that master suite was on main floor. Second bedroom (with two beds) accommodated our family of five - including a crib and bassinet. Love that there were en-suite bathrooms for all BRs. Only complaint is that wild dunes amenities including sweet grass pools are not accessible if you book through VRBO. Seemed kind of lame but this is more a complaint of community than property.

We have stayed in multiple houses in Wild Dunes and have even stayed in Pelican Bay before. This house was okay, but absolutely does not warrant the price based on our experience. Overall it was fine and we had a great week. The house did not by any means have big major issues. However, lots of small things that simply should not exist in a house with this weekly rate. For instance, the coffee maker was broken (only the Keurig worked). The kitchen light had one lightbulb that works and 5 that were burned out. The master shower curtain fell down every single day….most times without even being touched. One of the four blinds in the master bedroom was broken and would not close. The upstairs water heater closet would not close. Mattresses that had been removed prior to our stay were placed in the garage/basement area. so we could not park when we arrived…were told to move them back. Then the mattresses were moved by someone to the front yard where they sat for two days. The porch furniture chairs were all rusted. Etc etc. To be fair we did NOT contact anyone about all these issues as we do not like anyone coming in and out of our vacation rental. I’m sure they would have fixed the issues had we asked. That said, we’re on vacation and don’t want to be dealing with home repairs and shouldn’t have to after paying almost 7k for the week. We would not stay here again.
