Well kept property, great communication before and during stay, amazing location! Just one thing to be aware of, the direct beach access is a steep climb over the dune. Elderly or those with compromised mobility will not make it over. But there is a public access with stairs next door. Everyone in our group did just fine and we loved the house!

We were very happy with the place and with the island.

We have been coming to BHI for some time, but had always stayed in the maritime forest. This was our first stay in a beach front home, and About the View was a wonderful experience. The house was the perfect size for our family of four plus Grandma. The house was in great shape, neat as a pin, and the kitchen was well appointed. This was great, because we ate at home the entire time due to shortened hours, and limited availability of dining on the island. We were a little worried about having blocked views due to the dunes, but it was really nice. The sunsets were gorgeous, and you could hear the ocean from the deck. The beach access was super convenient and made it incredibly easy to go back and forth to the house for lunch or shelling. Our only issues were that construction was taking place across the street, and it woke us up most days by 7am. We also had 1-2 days with pretty rough biting flies and swarms of dragonflies on the beach which made it tough to enjoy. Overall we are grateful for a wonderful week in this well appointed home and would love to stay again!

We had a such a nice time at this beautiful home. Itrip made it easy to communicate and the location was perfect for my family. Clean and well appointed. Hard to say goodbye!

We had a lovely stay at ‘About the View’. House was very clean, great kitchen and comfy beds. Location is right on the beach which we loved. You can’t see the ocean from the patio rocking chairs as the dunes have grown but the breeze and sunsets outside are lovely. Property manager was great to communicate with. Would recommend and are looking forward to returning next summer.

The property was amazingly clean and well appointed with every conceivable household item required. The only complaint was from my seven year old "daddy, this is the slowest golf cart on the whole island" Ha! Would highly recommend this property to others, great views, ease of access to everything and all the tv's worked.

Beautiful house right on the beach, exactly as advertised, stocked with everything you could possibly need for a wonderful trip. Super kitchen, comfy beds, bathrooms that could handle multiple showers at the same time without any pressure or heat issues. Plenty of beach towels and chairs. In fairness to future guests, there is a brand new house being built directly behind this one, so there is some weekday construction noise.

Beautiful house very close to BHI Club. The deck is very spacious, but the dunes do block the view of the ocean. Well stocked house and great to have 6 person golf cart so the whole family could ride together.

We absolutely loved our stay. The management is attentive, but not overbearing. The home is exactly as beautiful and peaceful as advertising. The kitchen and bedrooms are cozy and well-appointed. And the beach, well, the beach is the best part. We would absolutely recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat in a comfortable and gorgeous home.

The house was amazingly well appointed and was spotless upon arrival. The house afforded beautiful sunsets and ocean views. What a peaceful and cozy gathering space. Our family wished we could have stayed longer !

Our trip was absolute perfection! The house was very clean and the location was perfect! It had everything we could possibly need for our young family! You could hear the ocean from the house and the views were magical!

If you want to be on the beach, you can't find a better home. It is in the dunes with a short track over the dunes to the waterfront. Great glass windows on east, south and west. Great four sides of outdoor deck. Vacant lot on either side adding to privacy. Renovations are tastefully done and a great beach setting. Everything is up to date. Overall a very good rental property. AC welcome requirement. Two minutes to BHI Club which we joined for dining, pool, and golf.
