Absolutely loved the place! Had so many different things to do there never got bored and close to a store so if anything was needed it was just a quick trip up the road. Can’t wait to go back!

We had an amazing time , the house was wonderful and location was perfect . It had a side yard fenced in for dogs, beautiful outdoor with 2 BBQ Grills , plenty of seating inside and out . Publix 5 minutes away. Would definitely go back!

We spent Christmas 2023 at the relaxing Lake June house. Everything but the weather was nearly perfect. Lots of space. Enjoyed the kayaks and dock. Caught a few fish but not many. Water was chilly (even for a NJ bunch)...you could still jump in off the rope swing or high platform for the younger ones..but water was in high 60's--so you jumped in and got out quickly. We used the grills, played corn hole. We would have really enjoyed having basic cable tv...we found the tv streaming to be slow and difficult to do (even with tech savvy college age kids.). Had trouble with sound on upstairs tv (even when watching a movie with DVD player). Oldest family member was handicapped, mobility limited...which was a challenge outdoors at the house. Very difficult for us to get him down to the dock. We knew that this would be the case prior to renting...but I would not recommend this house for a handicapped/mobility limited guest who wants to spend time outdoors. We were hoping for better weather...but I think that's December in Florida. Would rent again...but only in the warmer months to be able to fully enjoy the outdoor areas/activities of the house. Close to grocery store and small downtown area which was an added bonus. Owner was communicative about check in and check out. We did not have any issues.

Everything was great…the house is very well thought out so that everyone has their spaces with access to bathrooms. It’s very close to town and has a beautiful view and lakefront yard. The owners have thought of every detail to make sure guests are comfortable during their stay & we’re very attentive to any needs or questions. It’s not glamorous but spacious & comfortable. We would highly recommend!

The property was accurately described and was the perfect location for my husband's 70th birthday. The host was available for questions, and the property was well stocked. The only negative was the noise from the second floor to the first floor. It was hared to sleep downstairs if anyone was walking on the hard floors downstairs. Besides that, it was a great long weekend.

The pictures do not do justice to this house and the lake views. Absolutely loved my stay here in a very clean home with great amenities! This place can easily host a few families or group of friends on a getaway trip. Would definitely stay here again!

We spent thanksgiving week at the house. It was a great location that allowed us to enjoy the time together but have our own spots per family. Host was great and the home was exactly what we expected.

Great house for 14 family members in town for our sons wedding that was held on the other side of Lake June. Kids swam in the lake as the adults relaxed on the dock! We brought our own boat and were able to tie off on the dock, boat ramp access minutes away.

We had a great weekend! Perfect for larger families or multiple families.

This place is great. Can’t wait to book again next year. Plenty of space to not feel on top of each other with large family. The outside living is absolutely amazing.

This is a beautiful property. The house and outside spaces are amazing. Plenty of room for large gatherings. Our family range in ages from 7month old twins to 70+ year-old grandparents. Doug is an excellent host. He was welcoming and very accommodating to any of our questions or concerns. He has thought of every amenity to make "lake life" relaxing, fun and safe for all. Our time shared at the Escape House will hold so many wonderful memories. We have already recommended it to our friends. It's amazing! Sunsets and sunrises spectacular.

the property was perfect for us. 7 adults 6 kids. all bedrooms with their own bathrooms is very convenient. enough room for me time, dock and beach area 👍. Doug the owner extremely helpfully. we will definitely be back.

This house is massive with all of the amenities. My family of 5 stayed along with my parents, totaling 4 adults and 3 children. We could have easily had 2 more families join us. It was nice that my family could stay downstairs and it was very much like it’s own apartment, kitchen, bath, coffee maker etc. the kids loved the bunk beds and my parents were able to have their own space in the evenings upstairs. We had an awesome time, my kids learned how to kayak on the kayak provided. There are tons of toys and plenty to do. Thank you for letting us stay we had a wonderful time.

The property was fantastic and better than the pictures! The house held 7 groomsmen downstairs very comfortably. The upstairs was perfect for the adults and family to have their own space while allowing the groomsmen to have the downstairs to themselves. We enjoyed the lake and kayaks during our stay. The queen beds were very comfortable. Extra amenities were a nice touch. I would highly recommend the house for a large family vacation. Great communication with host!

2nd time staying here. We were 3 families of 6 teens and 6 adults. Outdoor space in back is amazing. Love the dock and toys. Doug is a great host. We loved the remodeled kitchen with the new dishwasher. We look forward to a third stay soon!

Sandy bottom and clear, clean lake. Fantastic boat dock with lots of shade and sun. Great porch overlooking lake. Able to get a wheelchair around the first floor and out on the porch so our 94 year old dad really enjoyed it. Pet friendly with a fenced in grassy area.

Second time staying here and booking a third. This home is a one of a kind and it just works for big groups, couples, kids, etc. Two stories with so many rooms so you have privacy. Huge property with a fire pit and a deck to relax on. The host has so many things for you to do, kayak, paddleboard, corn hole, pool table, rope swing, so much more. Doug is a great host. It is dog friendly as well and my dogs loved it!!

We don't need anything else to have an amazing family vacation than this lake house. Perfect for our kids, grand kids and father-in-law to relax and enjoy the peace of Lake June and Doug's paradise. The bonus room is a plus for all to play while plenty of room for those who want some quiet. We are thankful for the new kitchen and dishwasher. Small fenced area was great for our pup to run around with no worries. Doug is friendly, quick and easy to communicate with. We hope to return year after year.

This is my second consecutive year that I have stayed at this home. It is very roomy and accommodates a large group easily. Having four kayaks available really offered me a chance to explore the lake, too, as I don't have a boat.

Enjoyed our stay for my daughter’s 19th birthday. This house has everything you need and is very clean! We can’t wait to visit this place again.

This has to be one of the best vacation rental homes we have stayed at. Excellent communication with owner and the home is very well appointed. We especially loved the multiple refrigerators, ample seating options, kitchen with plenty of cookware, and life jackets available. Thank you for thinking of everything!

This was such an awesome property with beautiful lake views and plenty of "water toys" to enjoy the lake with. The little beach area was the favorite place for the children and our dog who loves the water! The Host has made the home so comfortable, from the well stocked kitchens, comfy beds, and room darkening coverings for the windows. Everything was super clean! We would definitely return. Heads up...don't let little ones get the remote even if the TV is off. You might end up ordering a movie you hadn't planned on....LOL

The property was as described and photographed, no surprises. This enabled us to plan accordingly and therefore spend minimal time with setting up, provisioning, getting comfortable, etc. Had everything we needed and spent a wonderful 5 days enjoying family fun, laughter and food! We are looking forward to next years reunion,... this property meets all our needs. Including the friendly, gracious host with whom the communication was fluid. Thank you

I would give Doug and Katie more than 5 stars if I could! They were amazing hosts letting us stay in their home and it was an experience that my group will never forget. It will be talked about for years on end and their attentiveness and details of the house are a hit reason why. It was clean, wonderfully located on the lake. The life jackets and towels were a life saver to have available especially for a big group. They thought of everything that we could have needed. I live in Spain and even with the time change, Doug was always fast to respond to any questions I had leading up to the trip. The rooms were very cute and had everything we needed. Thank you so much to this family. You are amazing! ❤️

Nice property with relaxed setting

We had a wonderful girlfriends weekend. The property was perfect . It had everything you could ask for. The only thing missing was mirrors in the bedrooms. With a house full of ladies it would have been nice for getting ready for the day or evening. A+ property anyway. Thanks for sharing your property.

We had such a relaxing time staying at the escape house between Christmas and new years. There was so much to do that we hardly ever even wanted to leave the house. The screen room was perfect for cooking breakfast and supper with our whole crew of 17. And we all spent a lot of time on the dock sunning, swimming and playing cards.

House was very clean and lots of open area for dining. The fire pit was the best place with the perfect weather to sit and converse. The dock was perfect for us to bring the wave runner

I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. It was all I had hoped it would be for my small family wedding over a long weekend. We had 22 people, including kids from 6-15 years old. All of us had a great time, lots of space, the outside amenities, along with the game room kept everyone entertained all weekend. The host was helpful, responsive and accommodating. The property was beautiful, clean and just as advertised. The two full kitchens and multiple bathrooms made it easy to prepare and host our event We are looking forward to future stays.
