This unit in the Kahana Reef condos is exactly as shown. Super clean, super quiet, super serene. Outside the door is a comfy lanai they gets strong afternoon sun and is a perfect spot to watch the gorgeous sunsets. Surf was a bit rough the week we stayed, but on quieter days, turtles float right next to the seawall...so cool. Met a few of the year-round residents who were pretty friendly. It's far enough removed from the bustle of Kanapali but still close enough to plenty of supermarkets/shopping. Best, it's an easy drive to Kapalua and the best MaiTai on Maui at Kitchen 3515 - the restaurant and Tiki Bar inside the Napili Shores Resort! Two minor issues with the unit: we needed an extra fan for the bedroom because it was quite humid. I texted the management company and a great new fan arrived the next day. Also, at some point someone cleaned the refrigerator with Lysol and the smell has permeated the appliance down to the ice tasting funny. We wound up buying ice and using the small cooler provided. Aside from that, the unit is perfect for a couple looking for an island of quiet amidst the hubbub of West Maui.

Beautiful, clean condo in the perfect location! We very much enjoyed our stay and hopefully will come again. The condo was comfortable and had everything we needed for a week's stay.

The view was absolutely amazing! Private little grass and beach area in the back was amazing, we loved our porch mornings and nights! Thank you so much for having us! :)

Nice condo. The kitchen was good but there weren’t any spices, sugar, pepper etc. Basic needs like Saran Wrap or tin foil would be nice.

This property was everything a person could dream of! Perfect location and the condo was stunning. I’d go back in a heartbeat and highly recommend it! Sea turtles right outside your door and stunning sunsets every night. The condo has everything you’d need and was so clean.

Enjoy our stay at KR. This unit #111 was well equipped and had most of the things one needs in the kitchen. The beach chairs, snorkel equipment and umbrella were nice to have.

Excellent place to stay and enjoyed a wonderful vacation. Only had trouble finding the WIFI SSID when arrived. Since the instruction received for SSID/password is through router and the SSID could not even found. Even after contacting custom service but issue still not fixed. Until later found it is inside the manual. Hope to update the instruction send to custom.

Had a great time with my wife on our honeymoon in Maui. Our rental was right on the ocean and we could hear the waves breaking on the seawall right from our room! Our patio was on the ground floor which was awesome. The apartment was clean, comfortable, and quiet. We also loved the full kitchen so that we could cook our own meals some nights. A couple nights were a little warm, but the fan and oscillating a/c fan made it much better. The host was kind and communicative throughout our trip. Would highly recommend this place to anyone wanting great accommodation in West Maui for a reasonable price!

I really enjoyed my stay at this location. It is ideal to be able to walk out directly to the ocean. Great views of the sunset and whale watching (I was there in January).

Kahana Reef 111 is by far 2nd to none!!we absolutely loved walking straight out to the ocean from our patio 30 ft from the water. The owner checked in on us via text many times. I will be renting this place again as I do not think there is anything else that is comparable to the value of staying here. Thanks so much for such a wonderful vacation

Great location, fully equipped kitchen, comfortable roomy place for a Maui vacation. Loved having the beach chairs to use. Bed was comfortable. View of the ocean perfect. Close to many beaches to drive to but if you did not feel like driving one small beach was was a few steps away. Close & convenient drive to Kaanapali,Lahanai,& Kapalua.

We stay at Kahana a Reef whenever we travel to Hawaii! There is non better condo location! Steps from the water! Amazing view! Everything about the condo was just as described. We have been to Maui ten times and we always book vrbo at Kahana Reef. We have never had a bad experience. This condo was no exception. Very clean, very safe. Management was a phone call away and helped us with a minor issue. We will be back! Thanks again!

The unit was beautiful and the neighbors we met were jealous when they peeked in the patio door :). The communication with property management was thorough and flawless. This area was incredibly quiet compared to Kaanapali or Lahaina, which we have stayed at previously. There are NO obstructions from the patio view and with a private oceanfront, there was zero foot traffic. Whales and rainbows were the daily sights we encountered. The unit had everything you could possibly need and was tastefully decorated. The only wish was for a pan to bake with in the oven and a swiffer/mop to keep the floor clean from the strong breeze coming in. I cannot state strongly enough, how much we enjoyed this stay and specifically the unit.

Great place to stay. There was construction on the back side of the building but, it wasn’t too noisy or an inconvenience. Very clean and modern place.

We loved this place! Lei Ann thought of everything to make our stay more comfortable, including a bag of ice for the ice chest for day trips. That was very thoughtful! She is also super responsive re: my numerous questions and emails. Mahalo! We would definitely stay in unit 111 again. It has been freshly updated and we loved the unit.

The condo is in a great location, not too far from anything but not in the middle of all the hustle and bustle. The only thing is that there's no A/C, which even in October would have been nice. It's probably on the listing, I just didn't realize. There was also a fair amount of construction on the seawall, which is right outside the condo. It would have been nice to know this was going to be there prior to our arrival. Overall, it was a great time. Just two minor complaints in the big scheme of things.

Property is close to beaches and shops. Owners and management were easily contacted.

We really appreciated that the property manager refunded our stay. The property was under construction, so we had concrete being poured obstructing the view and making so much noise that you could not even read a book. We have a baby so we splurged for a place on the ocean so that we could swim, read and relax ocean side while the baby was napping. The napping was impossible with the noise and so was any sort of relaxation. The windows had to be open because there is no air conditioning. I believe this property would have been outstanding if there was no construction. If we did not encounter this construction I think I would have given the place 4 or 5 stars. If we knew of it ahead of time about the construction and were given a choice to cancel, that would have been best. It was difficult to find a new place and move during our vacation, but it was for the best.

Recently renovated, beautiful unit, current construction on the sea wall was a little distracting, however we enjoyed talking to the workers. Would definitely stay again

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Kahana Reef and have recommended to my family whom visits the islands about four times a year. The condo was clean, upgraded and a view that was breath taking!! We will definitely be back!

We stayed at your condo for 9 days. The laundry facilities were great. The condo was very clean and updated. We loved the view and the relaxing porch and beach just outside the sliding glass door! The kitchen was great. Our only suggestion would be to stock up on measuring cups and spoons for cooking. Also some ziplock sandwich baggies would be nice. Overall it had most everything we needed for a very comfortable stay! The breeze from the ocean was perfect and the location great!

The space was lovely and inviting. The lanai is a few dozen feet away from the ocean, so we spent most mornings sitting out there. Very clean and well maintained. We’ll definitely recommend to friends going to Maui - or stay here when we hopefully visit again.

This unit has been remodeled and they did a wonderful job. It has brand new everything. Nice tile throughout. Bit TV, giant cozy couch, nice new patio furniture, comfy bed. The fans work great and the cross-breeze is awesome. It stayed cool in there, even during some of the hottest/muggy summer days. I loved the simple décor and kitchen. The kitchen bar stools face out to the water for the view, and the view is amazing!! Unobstructed water view with the pool just a few steps to the left and lounge chairs right out front. I didn't want to leave. Very relaxing and the property was lovely, clean, and quiet. Beach towels, Tommy Bahama beach chairs, and a nice cooler were all provided. Would HIGHLY recommend this place as it's much nicer than other units I've seen and stayed in. The host, Lei-Ann was super responsive and awesome too!
