The host was very accommodating and when they discovered we were travelling with a toddler they put a baby gate at the stairs which was a life saver for us, we didn’t realise there were so many stairs.
As a couple this would have been 10/10 but the stairs after the baby gate were an issue for us as our son always wanted to play on them.

The apartment itself is set within a building full of character. It surpassed expectations and really did feel like a home from home. Everything was thought of in terms of things you might need whilst staying, and the bed was super comfy.
The apartment was clean, tidy, cosy and inviting ☺️ Communication from Carol was lovely. The location was super and I just loved sitting at the bay window in the morning, looking out and watching the world go by with a cup of coffee, before heading out to explore this wonderful town and area. Wouldnt hesitate to stay again. Many thanks ☺️☺️

Cosy apartment was very clean and very well equipped to make your stay enjoyable. It is in a great location for all the sights, shops and food. I would thoroughly recommend it.

Wardrobe space /clothes storage is limited in the bedroom.

Great central location and easy to find free on street parking. Very comfortable and clean. Super well equipped with every little extra already thought of. Bed nice and comfortable, and lovely dog bed provided for our elderly spaniel. Even a little box of dog towels etc. would definitely book again - and thank you Carol for the great communication.
Bedroom curtains could be a bit thicker or blackout blinds provided, but then we do like it very dark.

great location, near to all amenities, comfortable bed, lots of extras and sweet treats left. Close to lovely walks.
We had a very enjoyable stay and were near to all the venues of the Kirkudbright jazz festival which was taking place.
Tesco just a few minutes walk away and convenience store just opposite the property.
Free parking available.
Obviously no fault of the owner - but traffic noise and seagulls woke us early during the week. (traffic noise not too bad at the weekend).
Quite a lot of steps up to the property so probably not good for people with limited mobility.

The apartment is in a good location. There is a nice view out of the main window. It was warm and cosy and a great place to leave our little old Cairn Terrier for a short time while we explored the town.
The shared entrance way to the apartment was a bit dark as the automated light often didn't kick in soon enough. The kitchenette was prepared for the basics but would probably benefit from a few more cooking utensils.

This "cosy flat" covered all the bases for us. Location is excellent to meander around this pretty harbour town with it's wonderful galleries and artisan shops and to explore the beautiful countryside. It caters for couples on their own or with children, dogs. Safety locks, plug covers etc, extras provided equipment for children and dogs with thoughtful additions for all. The apt is spotless. We can't thank the hosts enough for their shown consideration to those choosing this accommodation.
We of course will return. X
The only consideration I can think of which didn't apply to us is that the stairs to the apt and within the apt to reach the living quarters would challenge those with mobility issues.

Clean, central, dog friendly, lots of facilities. Bowl of sweets a lovely touch. Good communication.
The shared entrance area could have done with a link of paint, but the flat itself was lovely.

Lovely flat in a great location. Host left a lovely welcome gift for new year which I thought was a nice touch.. Would highly recommend.

Well equipped kitchen. Host provided lots of tea and coffee.

Great location for exploring the local area and some lovely restaurants within walking distance or a short drive. Tesco around the corner. The apartment had everything, every detail thought about, really comfy bed and bed settee. We will stay here again next time we're up this way.
Maybe a little info on bins and recycling but otherwise nothing.
