It looked abandoned, people very nice. Our room very clean.

Showers leak, holes in the shower, mice, mold, front desk asked me if I had bug bites, no pool as advertised.

Our hotel room was clean and had a fridge/microwave available. Just down the road from downtown Mystic and was affordable.

The staff was very helpful The hotel was convenient to the Mystic Village, Mystic Seaport and downtown Mystic with excellent restaurants and shopping. My friend and I had a blast

Dying property. From main road no signage that place was open. Closed restaurant. Staff was pleasant. Room was nice; no complaints. It took me over an hour to find the place as the motel looked abandoned from the highway. After one day have yet to receive via e-mail receipt of stay.

From the outside, it looked the the place was not even open. Doors to the lobby were broke. No staff at front when we entered and had to wait over 15 minutes for someone to show up. Pool was closed, permanently. No safety latch on door to room. Bathroom had hair in the tubs.

Bed was so bad can’t sleep. Light was broken microwave was not working. Price was higher then they show in the website

I had reached out prior to arrival to let them know we would arrive very late. Upon arrival our room had been given away and we were assigned a different room. There were 5 of us and only two double beds. The clerk was very apologetic and got manager on phone who ended up yelling and screaming as well as threatening to call the police all because we requested refund. No way could we have stayed so we left with a child in tow and found another hotel. This is actually the second incident I have experienced in bad service since I have booked through Expedia and unfortunately twice within 2 years. Would not recommend this hotel as there needs to be much improvement to the property and management.

People gathering in the unlit areas of parking lot and around the premises late at night upon arrival. Staff unwilling to issue refund even though I refused to stay. Do not trust photos on website, the property is gross. Please read other reviews before booking. THEY WILL NOT GIVE YOU YOUR MONEY BACK.

The rooms were clean. The property was quiet, beds were comfortable and close to all attractions. Couldn’t beat the price. Outdated and pool was broken but again. Couldn’t beat the price.

The hotel needs serious upkeep. The pool was closed and judging by the roof, it was easy to see why as chunks of the roof were coming off and moss was coming off the fascia. The room had not been vacuumed in I’m not sure how long and the bathroom door had patches all over it from something! There was no cable and the mattress was on a metal military style bunk-no box spring. There was also no elevator so we had to carry our luggage. Lastly, there was no pack-n-play for our youngest guest!!!

It is coming back!! Place was clean and personnel was amazing!! We will stay there sgain

Room was fine, newly remodeled. Outside needs work, weeds, broken door entry.

Marginal Very poor run down hotel. I drove past it thinking it was abandoned! No amenities, broken pool, broken refrigerator…Needs investors, or sell the property and start again.

The hotel is dated on the outside, room was very clean and comfortable. Really quiet place. Can walk to DD, and Old Mystic shopping.

CATFISHED BY A HOTEL. This is by far the worst hotel I’ve ever been in. I wish I could add photos here. This hotel has a massive leak from their room into the main lobby. About 8 buckets of water scattered around to let the water drip into. They had lawn chair cushions underneath the buckets to catch the water as the buckets over flowed. It smelled like a moldy basement throughout the whole hotel. The booking shows a beautiful pool with a check mark near it to confirm it’s available and soon arrival we see a “sorry pool closed” sign… we rented the hotel with the intention of using the beautiful pool they advertised. The room had bug… yes I have pictures… there was mold in the showers. The rug smelled like it hadn’t been washed in a solid 20 years. There was no big comfy green chair in the room I reserved that was supposed to have the big comfy green chair… there were nasty stains on the sheets. The microwave DIDNT WORK, the tv only got 4 channels. When trying to get help the front desk staff was no where to be found on 3 different occasions. You could tell the staff just didn’t care about the circumstances the hotel was in while checking guests in. I felt DIRTY, I couldn’t sleep. The air conditioner smelled like a dirty dehumidifier & it gave us such an awful headache. All in all , this hotel is DISGUSTING & posses a risk to you and your families health. I will be calling the health department myself to get someone out to see the conditions they think is “safe.”

Do not stay here. It is literally an abandoned building with no working pool, graffiti on the broken down fence around it and reeks of weed!

The property is rundown, plus my room was never cleaned by the house keeper any of the days we were there. The bathroom drain took forever to empty. I had to be standing in water.

For the price, this place is just fine. You can walk to Old Mystic Village where there are shopping, dining and entertainment options (walking distance from the aquarium). The hotel is dingy and obviously old but it is clean. Even though the fan in the bathroom did not work there was zero sign of mold and no mildew smells. The sheets were clean and the beds were comfortable for a 2 night stay. The hotel staff was polite. It was nice the room had a mini fridge and a microwave.

The visual presentation found online(Expedia and Google) are very misleading. The pictures were not representative of current physical appearance of facility. Adequate for a place to sleep, but not much else. There were: Plumbing issues: inconsistent water pressure, leaking ceiling throughout, toilet problems. Safety/security concerns: exterior doors left unlocked, ceiling tiles broken or missing throughout facility Comfort: carpeted tiles uneven on floor, no floor pad under carpet, uneven concrete under carpet, cigarette burns in chair cushion, a hole in bathroom wall! Amenities: coffee accessories were old(powdered creamer was bad/expired), pool unavailable, wifi available but inconsistent. Although attempts have been made at upgrading(newer vanity and mirrors in bathroom) and the staff were friendly; our stay the facility, on the whole was disappointing.

The area needs renovations, lobby has trash bin to catch water dripping from the high ceiling. Our room spacious clean, renovated, beautiful. The hotel needs time to have lobby renovations.

I had to cancel reservation because there was leaking ceiling tiles, it smelled badly, and was not safe! It was very dark and not maintained or kept up at all. I have many photos, it was not ok!

There is nothing I like. Front counter unattended. Tried to scam me for more fee's cash only! Charges for keys if not returned. Charges $10 cash pp after 2 people. Pool closed. Smells of mildew and indian food. Skunks in parking lot. Electrical outlets outdated. Only 1 light in the entire room. Would never recommend or stay here again. Bed bugs.

Need an update!! The room was clean but very dated When we pulled up, we actually thought the place was not in business and we weren’t even sure whether we were going to stay or not because of the look of it. The room was clean. It was just a place to lay her head down, but glad we weren’t another couple. We would’ve been embarrassed.

Very old building , not much travelers , scary at night . There’s only 5 cars in the parking lot
