My stay was Great. The staff was amazing, very welcoming and engaging. Room was extremely clean as well as the property. My only issue was my heat did not work!
There was no wall unit to control the temperature. There was a digital PTAC system, but even set to High fan and 85 degrees, it continued to blow out cold air. It snowed that night and temperatures dropped below 20 degrees. My husband and I were exhausted and went straight to bed after arriving around 10pm, we assumed it would take time to warm up. After waking up around 1am to an extremely cold room we just turned the unit off. These things happen!

We had a great stay at Holiday Inn Express. The property was very quiet and clean. The staff was friendly and efficient in checking us in. The beds were extremely comfortable and we slept well.

Staff were very nice overall. Average in terms of hotels. Can tell it was an older hotel that they tried to renovate to look more current. Very strong smells of air freshener in the room and hallways. Room itself was not as clean as it could have been. Dirty hand marks on the shower walls, indicating that they did not really wipe everything down like you would expect, especially in the bathroom! It was ok for the fast visit we made while driving through late, but would not choose to return in the future.

We had two big spiders in our room. One when we closed the curtain and the second the next morning when we went to grab a towel. Cobweb and loose hairs in the bathroom. Not what I expected for the price we paid. Breakfast was good though!

Room was cleaned and comfy. Elevator made a weird noise when we used it. Please get that checked. Also the elevator was dirty, which made us scared of how the room would look. But we were pleasantly surprised. There are really no views in the rooms. Parking was a little scarce

The problem was the system down and we had to make a cash deposit for the night. I think the whole situation could of been dealt better by the front desk staff and the deposit should not been close to the same price for a room for the night

Very disrespectful condescending and out right rude! We booked a double and they moved us to a king bed which is impossible with 4 people and said sorry all we have even though I booked and confirmed a double! Basically told me it was too bad take it or leave it!

We stayed here for two nights and cost roughly $300. The moldy smell when we checked in was off putting but we figured it was cleaning chemicals or something. We had spiders, beetles and other bugs that we found in our room. The toilet seat wasn’t attached properly, breakfast was unpleasant that we still had to go out each morning. When we checked in the woman was complaining about working on her day off when she finally greeted us as we stood at the counter for a solid 20 seconds with no an acknowledgment. There really isn’t anything for food around and being in downtown flint, the buildings surrounding this property were covered in spray paint and condemned.

Main issue is property is advertised as having an EV charger but none could be found and staff was not aware of any charging stations close by.

Amazing staff, Leanne went above and beyond with the shuttle service to the machine shop.
The hotel was clean. The room had everything you need. Coffee maker , bar fridge and toiletries. The bed was comfortable. The blankets and pillows plush and clean. The variety for breakfast was amazing, the staff in the kitchen was very helpfull and attentive. Great package to buy tickets to machine shop and get a great rate at the hotel. restaurants right around the corner. Found the Soggy Bottom restaurant with fantastic meal options.
Great package, travelling from Canada I will definitely be back.

The first night we were given the wrong room and we had to move, and the second room we figured out the air conditioner didn’t work. The next day supposedly it was fixed and it never cooled one degree. So the second night they moved us but the fold out couch couldn’t extend because built in furniture was in the way .

The property itself was fine and well lit. The surrounding area looked deserted and dark. Had to leave out at 4:00am. Didn’t really feel that safe going to my car.
