The hotel looks nice is your front service employees that are not friendly or make you feel welcome at all.

Stayed at La Quinta (Clifton) for a week. For a 3 star hotel it was very good. Beds were amazingly comfortable and air-con worked very well. Lots of choices for breakfast. Lots of amenities….swimming pool, gym, just a shame there was no jacuzzi. Only negative points….there is a coffee machine in the room but no kettle, you can walk down to the reception area, where hot drinks are available to make, however, it would have been more convenient with a kettle in the room. The other negative point we found, was on arrival it’s always nice to be greeted with a friendly welcome, however, the receptionist was not welcoming at all, he was polite but seemed unconcerned and unhelpful. Apart from that, overall it was an enjoyable stay and would definitely recommend.

The experience was ok, what I would expect from this grade of hotel. But, when I accidently left my suit in the closet when we left, the suit disappeared. I called the next morning and they could not find it. This is bad service. There is no excuse for this level of uncaring for guests. Either the suit was stolen or thrown away. Either way it is bad service.

Brilliant location… brilliant staff at reception and the hospitality was out of this world… couldn’t ask for a better place to stay on my visit… well done to all of you

Better hotel in New York City and New Jersey.

Pool was unavailable and it really ruined our stay.

My son and I went to the Giants game. The hotel was convenient to MetLife Stadium. The room was clean and good size. The bed was comfortable. We were disappointed the pool was down for service. There is a Red Robin attached to the hotel. It was perfect for a bite to eat after driving all day. The breakfast buffet was free and average. The breakfast staff was hard working that kept the area clean and stocked. I would stay here again if the pool was working.

Very noisy at night due to proximity to highway. Next time I will ask for as for a room on the opposite side.

The breakfast wasn’t great, simple food. Bathroom in my room extremely small. Door to the bathroom did not work. Lots of maintenance going on.

The only problem was that the pool was not open for remodeling.

Property outdoors was well kept and had plenty of parking. Lots of luggage carts and a very nice clean lobby that smelled great! Checking was super easy and free coffee in the lobby. I was on the second floor and my room was absolutely immaculately clean. The bathroom was literally glowing and everything looked brand new. Was even a mini fridge and microwave in the room. Bathroom soaps and shampoos were Dove brand. Room was nicely decorated with pretty pictures. Didn’t sleep great because the traffic was quite loud. I was in room 219 so keep that in mind. Front desk staff was super friendly. Overall, a wonderful experience and would definitely stay again but get a room that’s not so close to the road if they have one

The hotel was very clean and the staff were very helpful professional and friendly. The breakfast had a good variety of options. I come every year usually at a different hotel for the Giants game but I will be coming here from now on.

The main reason for our stay was the pool. It should be noted online the pool was not working. The clock in the room was incorrect. We stayed overnight but won’t return.

I loved the lady at the front desk she has great hospitality and the cleaning lady from saturday was so sweet they had nice breakfast set ups each morning we would’ve loved the pool but they had maintenance issue I believe overall the hotel was extremely nice 😊

I highly recommend this hotel. The pool is excellent for families. The staff is courteous and hospitable. The rooma are very clean and modern. And the beds are vwry comfortable.

This is a very nice hotel with plenty of amenities. The location is great - next to a Red Robin and very close to a Target. The wifi was fast, and never gave me any glitches. The hot breakfast was also very nice - better than at most hotels. My only concern was that while the washing machines on site worked, the dryers didn't.

I liked the location of the property. It's conveniently located close to markets and restaurants, and next to a highway. The beds and furniture were nice, and each room was equipped with a microwave and refrigerator. There is ample parking. However, I didn't like the bathroom; it is way too small and has no exhaust inside. They offer a cleaning service every 3rd day, which is ridiculous. In most hotels I've stayed in, they offer a cleaning service every day or at least every other day. The breakfast was not good; there were very few cheap items. Although the breakfast area is very big, the items are not restocked regularly. Finally, the pool was closed for days, and they only informed us about this on the morning of check-in day. This was the biggest disappointment, as the pool was one of the reasons why I booked this hotel. The check-in staff didn't even mention or apologize for this. Additionally, the front staff were not very courteous and welcoming—they didn't mention anything about the breakfast timing and the internet/wifi during check-in, had to ask separately. I will not stay again in this hotel.

Pool was closed. They didn't tell me until I got there. Also it's no central air. They have AC units. The AC in my room did not get very cold. I was hot all night.

I enjoyed my staycation.

I did not appreciate that the rooms were not cleaned everyday. We stayed 3 nights and the room was only cleaned once. We called and asked for the garbage to be emptied and was told to do it ourself.
